If an industry's personnel is dedicated, it may overcome the ongoing worldwide rivalry and attain greater Availability. Industry needs to supply suitable working circumstances, a suitable working conditions, and adequate facilities to guarantee that all employees perform effectively toward organization goals. Inadequate workspaces and working circumstances affect employees' work-life balance either directly or indirectly in addition to being the cause of job discontent, higher employee turnover, poor performance, and decreased productivity. It's critical to preserve skilled workers' industry satisfaction levels and pinpoint areas where worker WLB needs to be improved in order to keep them on staff.The intention of This research aims to evaluate workers' fulfillment of their working circumstances in the textile industry and assess how it affects their work-life balance. Madhya Pradesh's textile industry employed factory workers as the study's population. Those in management and supervision were not included in the research. The goal between the current study was to provide details and recommendations on how to improve the working conditions for textile sector workers To be able to improve work-life harmony.The majority of work-environment related elements had a negative impact on employees' work-life balance, according to the findings. The findings also highlight how uncomfortable it is for employed people to work in their current environments, which has serious ramifications for families, businesses, and society as large. It is highly advised that companies implement worker-friendly policies in conjunction with more considerate and supporting families To be able to preserve Work-life equilibrium and foster harmony among employees

Pricing Models for Perishable Goods with Customer Perception

In this paper, the pricing problem for perishable goods with customer perception is studied. Firstly, the customer value theory is introduced. Secondly, the problem is described. Then, the pricing model of perishable goods is established, in consideration of customer perception. At last, some data analysis and discussion are made via a concrete case study, the optimal pricing policy and maximum expected profit of the retailers are gained and some useful management conclusions are drawn

ANALYSIS OF VIPAKA (METABOLIC TRANSFORMATION) OF AN EXTRA-PHARMACOPOEIAL DRUG-BRIDELIA STIPULARIS (L.) BLUME

Objective: The objective of the present study is to explore the vipaka of an extra-pharmacopoeia drug Bridelia stipularis (L.) Blume belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family. Methods: 12 Wistar strain albino rats were selected and divided into 2 groups; Group A-Control, Group B-Test group. Each rat was kept in separate metabolic cages provided with a constant amount of water and food per day. Assessment of vipaka was done based on the consumption of food, consumption of water, the quantity of faecal matter, urine output, and quantity of water content of expelled faecal matter per day. Assessment of Vipaka was done on the basis of consumption of food; consumption of water; the quantity of faecal matter, urine output and quantity water content of expelled faecal matter per day. Results: Absolute values of Group B or test group exhibited significant increase in water consumption (p<0.01), wet faecal matter (p<0.05), dry faecal matter (p<0.001), and food conversion ratio (p<0.05), and non-significant increase in food consumption, urine output, faecal water, and body weight. Conclusion: Based on the preliminary analysis it may be concluded that the drug Bridelia stipularis (L.) Blume possess Madhura vipaka (Sweet metabolic transformation)

A study on constraints in adoption of scientific aquaculture practices

A study was undertaken to ascertain constraints faced by fish farmers in adoption of scientific aquaculture practices in East Champaran and West Champaran districts of Bihar. Information from 144 respondents was collected and analysed by calculating the Rank Based Quotient (RBQ) values. RBQ value for constraint faced by farmers were extreme climatic conditions (84.03), less extension programs and technical support (78.47), lack of contact with extension personnel’s (71.33), lack of awareness about scientific culture practices (65.28), inadequate credit facility (60.42), labour scarcity (57.64) and higher cost of material input (52.08).These constraints could be categorised under five heads namely extension constraints, financial constraints, production constraints, marketing constraints and social constraints. Average RBQ value for constraints related to extension was found to be 71.76 and ranked first. This was followed by financial constraint with RBQ value of 52.78. Production related constraint ranked third with an average RBQ value of 49.3 followed by marketing (32.87) and social constraints(27.08). Hypothesis that there is no significant difference with reference to rankings of constraints was tested by single factor ANOVA. Null hypothesis was rejected as Ftab=3.48>FNcal=2.61 with df=4 at 5% level of significance. There was a significant difference with reference to rankings of constraints. As the extension related constraints had the highest average RBQ value, it is clear that there is an urgent need of making effective strategy, engaging more fisheries extension professionals in this field along with capacity development of the existing extension professionals

During these period, total 1478 scholarly papers has been published by LIS researchers around the world. The publication pattern was analysed by different bibliometric aspect like year wise contribution of papers, year wise growth of publication, average publication per author, geographical distribution of papers, authorship pattern, author productivity, degree of collaboration, Lotka’s Law of Scientific Productivity of papers, reference distribution pattern and length of reference distribution etc. which provide depth information about publication of pattern of Library Philosophy and Practice journal
