Aspect Oriented Programming
Cílem práce je prozkoumat techniku aspektově orientovaného programování (Aspect Oriented Programming - AOP). Práce uvádí základní informace o filozofii a principu práce AOP a stručný přehled nejpoužívanějších nástrojů. Dále obsahuje praktické ukázky použití AOP na jednoduchých příkladech i ve vývoji komplexnější aplikace pomocí nástroje AspectJ.This thesis discuss technique of Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP). Thesis contains basic informations about AOP philosophy, principles and short overview of AOP tools. Thesis also contains practic demonstrations of using AOP for simple examples and complex aplication using AspectJ tool.
Heat transfer model verification for thermal monitoring system of integral bridges
Thermal actions considered on abutments of integral bridges by the European standard (Eurocode 1) might be in variety of certain situations underestimated. Based on this assumption, thermal monitoring system has been designed and installed into structure of bridge No. 27-117. Temperature profiles in five certain spots are being measured to provide sufficient basis for evaluation of real thermal actions on abutments of integral bridges. For purpose of measurement verification, elementary heat transfer models for finite element method solver were created. These models are being loaded by simplified temperature profiles reached in real time in-situ. Evaluated models provide verification data to compare with measured temperature profiles in structure and might provide information about temperature profiles probably reached during extreme weather situations
Information Systems Based on a Virtual Filesystem
Tato práce popisuje koncepci informačního systému založeného na virtuálním souborovém systému a příčiny, které vedly ke vzniku této koncepce. Rozebírá základní přístupy k řešení obvyklých částí funkcionality informačních systémů (jako je řízení přístupových práv, strukturování dat a řízení konfigurace systému) a snaží se najít koncepci, která by tyto požadavky na funkčnost řešila konzistentně a jednoduše. Hlavním cílem navrhované koncepce je vytvořit systém, který přináší jednoduchost a intuitivnost uživatelského rozhraní, sjednocení obecných částí funkčnosti a maximální flexibilitu a rozšiřitelnost. Celá koncepce je založena na reprezentaci systému v podobě stromové struktury virtuálních souborů se kterými uživatel provádí jednotlivé akce.This term project describes the concept of information system based on the virtual file system and the reasons which led to the creation of this concept. It discusses the basic approaches to solve common parts of the functionality of information system (such as access rights management, structure of data and managing configuration of system) and tries to find the concept that solves this functionality consistently and easily. The main objective of the proposed concept is to create a system that brings simplicity and intuitiveness of user interface, unification of common functionality and maximum flexibility and extensibility. The whole concept is based on the representation of the system as a tree of virtual files on which user performs actions.

The financial analysis of selected company and a proposal for improving its economic situation
Bakalářská práce na téma Finanční analýza vybraného podniku a návrh na zlepšení situace se elementárně dělí na část teoretickou a praktickou. První část specifikuje finanční analýzu, její účel, cíle a jak k ní lze přistupovat. Dále tato práce pojednává o zdrojích, uživatelích a metodách finanční analýzy, které jsou zastoupeny absolutními, rozdílovými a poměrovými ukazateli. V praktické části byly aplikovány dílčí metody finanční analýzy na akciovou společnost BEST za pět po sobě jdoucích obdobích (2007-2011). Společnost byla také vystavena celoplošnému srovnání za rok 2011 (srovnání s konkurenty a odvětvím). Závěr práce reaguje na výsledky finanční analýzy a snaží se zhodnotit celkovou finanční situaci podniku a podat návrhy na zlepšení situace.Katedra financí a účetnictvíObhájenoBachelor thesis on topic of The financial analysis of selected company and a proposal for improving its economic situation is basically divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part describes the financial analysis, its purpose, targets and possible approaches. This work also deals with the resources, users and methods of financial analysis, which are represented absolute, differential and ratio indicators. In the practical section, there were applied methods of the financial analysis to BEST, a.s. for the five years period (2007-2011). The company was allover compared for the year 2011 (comparison with competitors and branch). The conclusion of this work responds to the results of the financial analysis and rates financial situation of the selected company and makes proposals for improving situation
Gray-Box Fuzzing via Gradient Descent and Boolean Expression Coverage (Technical Report)
We present a novel gray-box fuzzing algorithm monitoring executions of
instructions converting numerical values to Boolean ones. An important class of
such instructions evaluate predicates, e.g., *cmp in LLVM. That alone allows us
to infer the input dependency (c.f. the taint analysis) during the fuzzing
on-the-fly with reasonable accuracy, which in turn enables an effective use of
the gradient descent on these instructions (to invert the result of their
evaluation). Although the fuzzing attempts to maximize the coverage of the
instructions, there is an interesting correlation with the standard branch
coverage, which we are able to achieve indirectly. The evaluation on Test-Comp
2023 benchmarks shows that our approach, despite being a pure gray-box fuzzing,
is able to compete with the leading tools in the competition, which combine
fuzzing with other powerful techniques like model checking, symbolic execution,
or abstract interpretation.Comment: 37 page
Influence of iron deficiency on thyroidal hormone production in piglets before weaning
The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of iron deficiency on the thyroidal function and hormone T3 and T4 concentration in piglets before weaning. We used 40 Landrace × Czech Large White piglets before weaning in this trial. They were divided into two groups. The control group was supplemented with iron after birth, the experimental group was without iron supplementation after birth. Iron, T3 and T4 and haematology indicators were observed. Piglets in the experimental group developed serious anaemia. The iron serum concentration in the experimental group was significantly lower than in the control group. Significant difference in T3 and T4 hormone concentration was found between the experimental and the control group. At the age of 17 and 25 days we found the negative effect of iron deficiency on the thyroid hormone production
Raman Spectroscopy for the characterization of algal cells
ABSTRACT Raman spectroscopy can elucidate fundamental questions about intercellular variability and what governs it. Moreover, knowing the metabolic response on single cell level this can significantly contribute to the study and use of microalgae in systems biology and biofuel technology. Raman spectroscopy is capable to measure nutrient dynamics and metabolism in vivo, in real-time, label free making it possible to monitor/evaluate population variability. Also, degree of unsaturation of the algae oil (iodine value) can be measured using Raman spectra obtained from single microalgae. The iodine value is the determination of the amount of unsaturation contained in fatty acids (in the form of double bonds). Here we demonstrate the capacity of the spatially resolved Raman microspectroscopy to determine the effective iodine value in lipid storage bodies of individual living algal cells. We employed the characteristic peaks in the Raman scattering spectra at 1,656 cm −1 (cis C=C stretching mode) and 1,445 cm −1 (CH 2 scissoring mode) as the markers defining the ratio of unsaturated-to-saturated carbon-carbon bonds of the fatty acids in the algal lipids
