The objectives of this study are to emprically examine the association between free cash flow and dividend policy, and test the influence investment opportunity set as moderating variable to the correlation. Variable used in this research is investment opportunity set measured hence proxy based on the price that is market to book value of equty (MBVE), free cash flow, and dividend policy. This variable are later then analysed by using method of pooled regression that is model the linear regresi by adding cross-product term. As much 89 company which have publik at Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) except mining company, bank, insurance, sekuritas, real estate, credit agent, hotel and travel which used as sampel research. Test the assumption classical indication there are trouble heteroskedastisitas, after done by remedial hence the rest of 216 from 445 perception weared to test the alternative hypothesizing one and alternative hypothesizing two. The empiric result obtained depict that free cash flow individually correlate the negativity and dont significan with the dividend policy without including moderasi set the invesment opportunity, and so do when testing free cash flow relation with the dividend policy by including to invesment opportunity set as its moderating variable result depict the negative relation and dont significan. this finding Impirik explain that invesment opportunity set unable to influence the free cash flow relation and dividend policy, even so there relation is very small

Financial resilience! A comparative study of three lower tier authorities in England

Austerity policies have affected local government for over a decade challenging their financial resilience to cope with further financial shocks. Using a financial resilience framework, this paper examines whether lower tier authorities behave in the same way as their higher tier counterparts when it comes to financial resilience to shocks. From a detailed field study of three lower tier (district) authorities in English local government, it is concluded that they do not have the capacity to ‘Bounce Forwards’. They can only ‘Bounce Back’ in the short term and even that is becoming increasingly difficult

Asymptotic self-consistency in quantum transport calculations

Ab initio simulations of quantum transport commonly focus on a central region which is considered to be connected to infinite leads through which the current flows. The electronic structure of these distant leads is normally obtained from an equilibrium calculation, ignoring the self-consistent response of the leads to the current. We examine the consequences of this, and show that the electrostatic potential Delta phi is effectively being approximated by the difference between electrochemical potentials Delta mu, and that this approximation is incompatible with asymptotic charge neutrality. In a test calculation for a simple metal-vacuum-metal junction, we find significant errors in the nonequilibrium properties calculated with this approximation, in the limit of small vacuum gaps. We provide a scheme by which these errors may be corrected

The evolution of the Civil Affairs force

Beginning with the United States (U.S.)Mexican War in 1846 and continuing to the most recent combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, United States military history has repeatedly shown the importance of civil affairs operations: that is, shaping the civil component of the operational environment. During this span, civil affairs operations have evolved from operations conducted only by combat units to those conducted by a dedicated Civil Affairs force. The demand for Civil Affairs has increased significantly since September 11, 2001, and in response to that demand, the Army has attempted to grow the Civil Affairs force in both the active and reserve components. The rapid growth in demand for Civil Affairs has led to the creation of a Civil Affairs force composed of one active-duty Civil Affairs special-operations brigade, one active-duty Civil Affairs brigade for conventional forces, and nine reserve civil affairs brigades. The current Civil Affairs force structure is subordinate to three commands: the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, U.S. Forces Command, and the U.S. Army Reserve Command. This thesis analyzes the current Civil Affairs force structure within the active and reserve components by using three metrics: training efficiency, organizational efficiency, and operational efficiency. From the results of this study indicate that the website is very useful to reduce the lack of information about the school SMP Negeri 12 Seluma and within a certain time, so it does not necessarily have to come to a place of SMP Negeri 12 Seluma to get what is needed.
