Pengembangan Peta Interaktif Tiga Dimensi Gedung Rektorat Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Menggunakan Unity3d Engine
Penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam pemetaan digital sudah lama digunakan. Dahulu orang cenderung melakukan pemetaan digital secara 2D untuk memetakan suatu area atau gedung, namun pemetaan secara 2D sendiri tidak memberikan informasi secara mendetail tentang keadaan dan topografi dari area atau gedung tersebut. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi penggunaan teknologi 3D pun mulai digunakan dalam pemetaan secara digital agar dapat memberikan informasi yang lebih mendetail tentang keadaan suatu area atau gedung. Untuk membangun sebuah peta 3D dapat dilakukan menggunakan engine 3D yang biasanya digunakan untuk membuat game. Dengan memanfaatkan Unity3D Engine penulis akan membangun sebuah pemetaan digital secara 3D agar dari pemetaan tersebut dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat dan tepat mengenai keadaan area yang dipetakan sesuai dengan Kenyataan. Dalam pembuatan akan dipetakan gedung Rektorat Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. Pemetaan secara 3D ini dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat dan mendetail kepada pengguna peta 3D ini nantinya tentang keadaan dari gedung Rektorat
Magnetic ordering in GaAlAs:Mn double well structure
The magnetic order in the diluted magnetic semiconductor barrier of double
AlAs/GaAs: Mn quantum well structures is investigated by Monte Carlo
simulations. A confinement adapted RKKY mechanism is implemented for indirect
exchange between Mn ions mediated by holes. It is shown that, depending on the
barrier width and the hole concentration a ferromagnetic or a spin-glass order

Nonlinear screening and stopping power in two-dimensional electron gases
We have used density functional theory to study the nonlinear screening
properties of a two-dimensional (2D) electron gas. In particular, we consider
the screening of an external static point charge of magnitude Z as a function
of the distance of the charge from the plane of the gas. The self-consistent
screening potentials are then used to determine the 2D stopping power in the
low velocity limit based on the momentum transfer cross-section. Calculations
as a function of Z establish the limits of validity of linear and quadratic
response theory calculations, and show that nonlinear screening theory already
provides significant corrections in the case of protons. In contrast to the 3D
situation, we find that the nonlinearly screened potential supports a bound
state even in the high density limit. This behaviour is elucidated with the
derivation of a high density screening theorem which proves that the screening
charge can be calculated perturbatively in the high density limit for arbitrary
dimensions. However, the theorem has particularly interesting implications in
2D where, contrary to expectations, we find that perturbation theory remains
valid even when the perturbing potential supports bound states.Comment: 23 pages, 15 figures in RevTeX
Perancangan Alat Pemeras Kelapa Parut Menjadi Santan Dengan Cara Pengepresan Manual Yang Ergonomis
Sering ditemukan mesin atau alat pemeras kelapa parut dipasar tradisional dikota Medan. Mesin atau alat tersebut dijual dengan harga yang relatif mahal, kurang ergonomis dan dengan kapasitas input yang kecil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pembuatan rancangan mesin pemeras kelapa parut yang ergonomis, input besar dan murah. Tahapan yang digunakan adalah mendeteksi keluhan musculoskeletal yang diakibatkan oleh pemakaian alat yang sudah ada. Dengan menggunakan Standard Nordic Questionnairre (SNQ) dengan cara menyebarkan kuisioner. Hasil penilaian kuisioner digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merubah dimensi alat agar sesuai dengan anthropometri operator yang akan menggunakan. Setelah rancangan dimensi alat sesuai dengan konsep ergonomi maka dilakukan penyebaran kuisioner terbuka dan kuisioner tertutup untuk pembuatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Kemudian diukur waktu siklus untuk menentukan waktu pemerasan alat pemeras kelapa parut. Berdasarkan perancangan alat kelapa parut yang baru maka diusulkan metode kerja baru yang telah distandarkan berupa standard operation procedure (SOP) alat Pemeras kelapa parut. Dari hasil pengolahan data dan analisis pemecahan masalah dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa perancangan alat pemeras kelapa parut usulan dapat meminimalkan keluhan Muscoluskeletal pada operator. Hasil santan alat pemeras kelapa parut usulan memberikan hasil lebih banyak 20% dari alat yg lama, alat kelapa parut usulan lebih murah harganya dibandingkan dengan alat pemeras kelapa parut yang ada dipasaran dan waktu siklus dari alat pemeras kelapa parut usulan lebih cepat 5% dibandingkan dengan alat pemeras kelapa parut yang lama. On the nature of the spin-polarized hole states in a quasi-two-dimensional GaMnAs ferromagnetic layer
A self-consistent calculation of the density of states and the spectral
density function is performed in a two-dimensional spin-polarized hole system
based on a multiple-scattering approximation. Using parameters corresponding to
GaMnAs thin layers, a wide range of Mn concentrations and hole densities have
been explored to understand the nature, localized or extended, of the
spin-polarized holes at the Fermi level for several values of the average
magnetization of the Mn ystem. We show that, for a certain interval of Mn and
hole densities, an increase on the magnetic order of the Mn ions come together
with a change of the nature of the states at the Fermi level. This fact
provides a delocalization of spin-polarized extended states anti-aligned to the
average Mn magnetization, and a higher spin-polarization of the hole gas. These
results are consistent with the occurrence of ferromagnetism with relatively
high transition temperatures observed in some thin film samples and
multilayered structures of this material.Comment: 3 page
Correlations Between Hardness of Food and Craniodental Traits in Nine Myotis Species (Chiroptera, Vespertilionidae)
We studied 8 skull and 42 dental characters in nine Myotis species (M. myotis, M. blythii, M. bechsteinii, M. dasycneme, M. emarginatus, M. nattereri, M. daubentonii, M. brandtii, M. mystacinus) to analyze correlations between hardness of food and skull and dental traits. Contrary to the common bat pattern, Myotis that are specialized on hard-shelled dietary items tend to have relatively narrow skull and long tooth rows. The dentition of durophagous Myotis is composed by relatively enlarged second and reduced third molars.Для анализа связи между твердостью пищи и значениями черепных и зубных признаков исследовано 8 черепных и 42 зубных промера у девяти видов ночниц (Myotis myotis, M. blythii, M. bechsteinii, M. dasycneme, M. emarginatus, M. nattereri, M. daubentonii, M. brandtii, M. mystacinus). Вопреки общим для летучих мышей закономерностям у ночниц, специализированных к поеданию объектов питания с твердыми покровами, выявлена тенденция к сужению черепа и удлинению зубных рядов. В зубном аппарате такие ночницы имеют относительно увеличенные вторые и редуцированные третьи моляры
Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) applications in medical: non-invasive and invasive leukemia screening
Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) has been applied as analytical tool in numerous field of study due to its ability in non-invasive application. NIRS with the ability in providing the information on biological molecules shows a high potential as a diagnosis tool in medical as diseased related to biochemistry changes of the cell and tissue. This paper reviewed the application of NIR spectroscopy in leukemia screening and in other medical application. General comparison between invasive and non-invasive NIR spectroscopy method is provided. The author also proposed a new non-invasive NIRS method in leukemia screening and compared it with the previous invasive NIRS method
Glucose detection in blood using near-infrared spectroscopy: significant wavelength for glucose detection
World Health Organization (WHO) stated in 2004, about 347 million people suffered from diabetes and from this statistic, about 3.4 million died from the complication of kidney failure, heart attack, body part amputation and adequately reported suffered from blindness. There are several non-invasive techniques in measuring the blood glucose level developed nowadays and among the popular technique is the near-infrared (NIR) measurement, ultrasonic sensor implementation, multisensory systems, absorbance of transmittance, bio-impedance, voltage intensity, and thermography. Among these techniques, there are several approaches that displayed a lot of potential, nonetheless some of them have produced unsatisfying results. The NIR technique has been applied in some of previous research, however the wavelength used vary for different researcher. There are several points of views on the significant wavelength range that contains suitable information regarding the peaks of glucose in blood. This paper is focusing on the experimental data collection using the near-infrared spectroscopy technique. This paper furthermore discussing on determine the significant peaks of glucose that is suitable to be used as the indicator of the glucose in blood.
