Concretament s’analitza la possibilitat de l’existència d’un dret a l’oblit que permeti, tant a persones físiques com jurídiques, eliminar part de la seva història digital a Internet. Comparison of the weathering variables on both chrome-tanned and wet-white leather ageing

Leather is a natural material that can be used in different environments and often under aggressive environmental conditions that may cause premature ageing. The most important factors influencing the degradation of leather are temperature, relative humidity and UV radiation. Leathers with chrome tannage and wet-white leathers were exposed to weathering effects using a climatic chamber in order to identify the most important variables affecting this weathering process and to check for interactions. Both a multilevel centralized factorial experimental design and an analysis of variance (ANOVA) have been employed as statistical tools for estimating the effects of the parameters.Postprint (published version

Drawing and conceptual method in swiss architecture

[EN] The article analyzes the drawings of several renowned Swiss architects (Herzog & de Meuron, Peter Zumthor, Peter Märkli, Marianne Burkhalter and Christian Kerez) and defends the existence of several common features, denoting a method of eminently conceptual work. These are: the free choice of media and materials, lack of graphic academicism, non-pictorial use of the canvas, expression of the drawing process, the inclusion of texts and annotations, the use of sets and repetitions, the dominance of two-dimensionality and diagrammatic reduction. These features are compared, in some cases, with the work of conceptual artists or close to conceptual art, justifying the thesis defended[ES] El artículo analiza los dibujos de varios arquitectos suizos de reconocido prestigio (Herzog & de Meuron, Peter Zumthor, Peter Märkli, Marianne Burkhalter y Christian Kerez) y defiende la existencia de varios rasgos comunes, que denotan un método de trabajo eminentemente conceptual. Estos son: la elección libre de soportes y materiales, la falta de academicismo gráfico, el uso no pictórico del lienzo, la expresión del proceso de dibujo, la inclusión de textos y anotaciones, el uso de series y repeticiones, el predominio de la bidimensionalidad, y la reducción diagramática. Pla de salut de la Regió Sanitària Girona 2021-2025

En una primera s’analitzen factors poblacionals i de salut de la Regió en comparació de les dades del Pla de salut de Catalunya i s’hi inclouen línies estratègiques prioritàries per a la salut i per al sistema sanitari. El segon bloc comprèn les estratègies, els eixos, els objectius específics i les accions per al període 2021-2025, que han de ser el mecanisme per portar a terme la doble funció del Pla territorial. I en un tercer bloc es recull el procediment que s’utilitzarà per avaluar l’execució del Pla, així com la implementació i el cronograma d’implantació. El Pla es tanca amb dos annexos, el primer dels quals recull una síntesi gràfica de les principals diagnosis en salut de la Regió, mentre que el segon aplega la metodologia, amb tots els procediments participatius implantats.:ca_E

Ten-Year Probabilities of Death Due to Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease among Breast Cancer Patients Diagnosed in North-Eastern Spain

Mortality from cardiovascular disease (CVD), second tumours, and other causes is of clinical interest in the long-term follow-up of breast cancer (BC) patients. Using a cohort of BC patients (N = 6758) from the cancer registries of Girona and Tarragona (north-eastern Spain), we studied the 10-year probabilities of death due to BC, other cancers, and CVD according to stage at diagnosis and hormone receptor (HR) status. Among the non-BC causes of death (N = 720), CVD (N = 218) surpassed other cancers (N = 196). The BC cohort presented a significantly higher risk of death due to endometrial and ovarian cancers than the general population. In Stage I, HR- patients showed a 1.72-fold higher probability of all-cause death and a 6.11-fold higher probability of breast cancer death than HR+ patients. In Stages II-III, the probability of CVD death (range 3.11% to 3.86%) surpassed that of other cancers (range 0.54% to 3.11%). In Stage IV patients, the probability of death from any cancer drove the mortality risk. Promoting screening and preventive measures in BC patients are warranted, since long-term control should encompass early detection of second neoplasms, ruling out the possibility of late recurrence.
