Results of a feasibility study: barriers and facilitators in implementing the Sherbrooke model in France.
OBJECTIVES: Return-to-work interventions associated with the workplace environment are often more effective than conventional care. The Sherbrooke model is an integrated intervention that has proved successful in preventing work disability due to low-back pain. Implementation, however, runs up against many obstacles, and failure has been reported in many countries. The present study sought to identify barriers to and facilitators of the implementation of the Sherbrooke model within the French health system.
METHODS: A multiple case study with nested levels of analysis was performed in two regions of France. A conceptual framework was designed and refined to identify barriers and facilitators at the individual, organizational and contextual levels. Qualitative data were collected via semi-structured interview (N=22), focus groups (N=7), and observation and from the gray literature. Participants (N=61) belonged to three fields: healthcare, social insurance, and the workplace.
RESULTS: Numerous barriers and facilitators were identified in each field and at each level, some specific and others common to workers in all fields. Individual and organizational barriers comprised lack of time and resources, discordant professional values, and perceived risk. Legal barriers comprised medical confidentiality, legal complexity, and priority given to primary prevention. Individual-level facilitators comprised needs and perceived benefits. Some organizations had concordant values and practices. Legal facilitators comprised possibilities of collaboration and gradual return to work.
CONCLUSION: The present feasibility analysis of implementing the Sherbrooke model revealed numerous barriers and facilitators suggesting a new implementation strategy be drawn up if failure is to be avoided
The Magnetic Moments of the Octet Baryons in Quenched Chiral Perturbation Theory
We compute the magnetic moments of the octet baryons up to two orders in
quenched chiral perturbation theory. In addition to the
contributions that arise in QCD, there are lower-order contributions of the

Heavy-Higgs Lifetime at Two Loops
The Standard-Model Higgs boson with mass decays almost
exclusively to pairs of and bosons. We calculate the dominant two-loop
corrections of to the partial widths of these decays. In
the on-mass-shell renormalization scheme, the correction factor is found to be
, where the second term is the
one-loop correction. We give full analytic results for all divergent two-loop
Feynman diagrams. A subset of finite two-loop vertex diagrams is computed to
high precision using numerical techniques. We find agreement with a previous
numerical analysis. The above correction factor is also in line with a recent

Naturalness and Higgs Decays in the MSSM with a Singlet
The simplest extension of the supersymmetric standard model - the addition of
one singlet superfield - can have a profound impact on the Higgs and its
decays. We perform a general operator analysis of this scenario, focusing on
the phenomenologically distinct scenarios that can arise, and not restricting
the scope to the narrow framework of the NMSSM. We reexamine decays to four b
quarks and four tau's, finding that they are still generally viable, but at the
edge of LEP limits. We find a broad set of Higgs decay modes, some new,
including those with four gluon final states, as well as more general six and
eight parton final states. We find the phenomenology of these scenarios is
dramatically impacted by operators typically ignored, specifically those
arising from D-terms in the hidden sector, and those arising from weak-scale
colored fields. In addition to sensitivity of m_Z, there are potential tunings
of other aspects of the spectrum. In spite of this, these models can be very
natural, with light stops and a Higgs as light as 82 GeV. These scenarios
motivate further analyses of LEP data as well as studies of the detection

Comparisons of Statistical Multifragmentation and Evaporation Models for Heavy Ion Collisions
The results from ten statistical multifragmentation models have been compared
with each other using selected experimental observables. Even though details in
any single observable may differ, the general trends among models are similar.
Thus these models and similar ones are very good in providing important physics
insights especially for general properties of the primary fragments and the
multifragmentation process. Mean values and ratios of observables are also less
sensitive to individual differences in the models. In addition to
multifragmentation models, we have compared results from five commonly used
evaporation codes. The fluctuations in isotope yield ratios are found to be a
good indicator to evaluate the sequential decay implementation in the code. The
systems and the observables studied here can be used as benchmarks for the

Two-loop corrections to the fermionic decay rates of the Higgs boson
We calculate the dominant two-loop
electroweak corrections to the fermi\-onic decay widths of a heavy Higgs boson
in the Standard Model. Use of the Goldstone-boson equivalence theorem reduces
the problem to one involving only the physical Higgs boson and the
Goldstone bosons and of the unbroken theory. The two-loop
corrections are opposite in sign to the one-loop electroweak corrections,
exceed the one-loop corrections in magnitude for , and
increase in relative magnitude as for larger values of . We
conclude that the perturbation expansion in powers of breaks down
for . We discuss briefly the QCD and the complete
one-loop electroweak corrections to , and
comment on the validity of the equivalence theorem. Finally we note how a very

Risk of End-Stage Renal Disease in HIV-Positive Potential Live Kidney Donors
New federal regulations allow HIV-positive individuals to be live kidney donors; however, potential candidacy for donation is poorly understood given the increased risk of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) associated with HIV infection. To better understand this risk, we compared the incidence of ESRD among 41 968 HIV-positive participants of North America AIDS Cohort Collaboration on Research and Design followed for a median of 5 years with the incidence of ESRD among comparable HIV-negative participants of National Health and Nutrition Examination III followed for a median of 14 years. We used risk associations from multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression to derive cumulative incidence estimates for selected HIV-positive scenarios (no history of diabetes, hypertension, AIDS, or hepatitis C virus coinfection) and compared these estimates with those from similarly selected HIV-negative scenarios. For 40-year-old HIV-positive individuals with health characteristics that were similar to those of age-matched kidney donors, viral load <400 copies/mL, and CD4+ count ≥500 cells/μL, the 9-year cumulative incidence of ESRD was higher than that of their HIV-negative peers, yet still low: 2.5 versus 1.1 per 10 000 among white women, 3.0 versus 1.3 per 10 000 among white men, 13.2 versus 3.6 per 10 000 among black women, and 15.8 versus 4.4 per 10 000 among black men. HIV-positive individuals with no comorbidities and well-controlled disease may be considered low-risk kidney donor candidates
As múltiplas funções da agricultura familiar: um estudo no assentamento Monte Alegre, região de Araraquara (SP).
A partir da emergência da ideia de sustentabilidade, a agricultura adquiriu novas conotações, associadas não apenas ao aspecto produtivo, mas também à conservação dos recursos naturais e dos territórios rurais, em um reconhecimento de sua multifuncionalidade. Com base nesta noção, que valoriza as funções socioambientais desempenhadas pelas famílias rurais e pelas agriculturas praticadas, o presente artigo analisa um assentamento rural no estado de São Paulo, buscando identificar quais são e de que forma se expressam as funções para além da produção neste território particular. Por meio de uma metodologia de cunho quali-quantitativo, observou-se que, no assentamento em foco, a agricultura encerra em si questões de coesão territorial, manutenção da segurança alimentar, conservação da agrobiodiversidade e de fomento a outras atividades produtivas, sendo o elemento central da reconstrução de um modo de vida rural neste ambiente
