Kelayakan Raspberry Pi Sebagai Web Server: Perbandingan Kinerja Nginx, Apache, Dan Lighttpd Pada Platform Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi is a small-sized computer, but it can function like an ordinary computer. Because it can function like a regular PC then it is also possible to run a web server application on the Raspberry Pi. This paper will report results from testing the feasibility and performance of running a web server on the Raspberry Pi. The test was conducted on the current top three most popular web servers, which are: Apache, Nginx, and Lighttpd. The parameters used to evaluate the feasibility and performance of these web servers were: maximum request and reply time. The results from the test showed that it is feasible to run all three web servers on the Raspberry Pi but Nginx gave the best performance followed by Lighttpd and Apache

Enhancement the Performance of OFDM based on Multiwavelets Using Turbo Codes

In wireless communication systems, the main challenge is to provide a high data rate and reliable transmission over a frequency selective fading channel. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a very attractive technique for high data rate transmission with better bandwidth efficiency. In this paper, the effectiveness of turbo codes is utilized to develop a new approach for an OFDM system based on a Discrete Multiwavelet Critical-Sampling Transform (OFDM-DMWCST). The use of turbo coding in an OFDM-DMWCST system is useful in providing the desired performance at higher data rates. Two types of turbo codes were used in this work, i.e., Parallel Concatenated Convolutional Codes (PCCCs) and Serial Concatenated Convolutional Codes (SCCCs). In both types, the decoding is performed by the iterative decoding algorithm based on the log-MAP (Maximum A Posteriori) algorithm. The simulationresults showed that, the turbo-coded OFDM-DMWCST system achieves large coding gain with lower Bit-Error-Rate (BER), therefore, offering a higher data rate under different channel conditions. In addition, thePCCCs offer better performance than SCCCs

In this study, the motions of slow electrons in air and nitrogen with it's mixtures are studies by details. We solved numerically Boltzmann transport equation to calculate the parameters E, Vd and D/m have been possible to deduce expression empirical formula from which may be derived the drift velocity, collisional frequencies, electronic temperature and mean energy loss per collision. These results applied to the ionosphere allow electronic collisional frequencies to be ready found in the ionosphere below 94 km, from the pressure of the air. The collision cross-sections of the molecules of air and nitrogen when the electronics temperature is less than about 2600°K. The addition results are presented for electrons drifting through air in a steady state of motion under the action of the electric field, such as, KT, U, Q, Q0, ω, ω/P,h, hKT , and W/D for both Maxwell and Druyvesteyn distribution laws. This parameters are graphically as a functions for their variables. The results appeared excellent agreements with the experiments and theoretical data

Membrane Paradigm and Horizon Thermodynamics in Lanczos-Lovelock gravity

We study the membrane paradigm for horizons in Lanczos-Lovelock models of gravity in arbitrary D dimensions and find compact expressions for the pressure p and viscosity coefficients \eta and \zeta of the membrane fluid. We show that the membrane pressure is intimately connected with the Noether charge entropy S_Wald of the horizon when we consider a specific m-th order Lanczos-Lovelock model, through the relation pA/T=(D-2m)/(D-2)S_Wald, where T is the temperature and A is the area of the horizon. Similarly, the viscosity coefficients are expressible in terms of entropy and quasi-local energy associated with the horizons. The bulk and shear viscosity coefficients are found to obey the relation \zeta=-2(D-3)/(D-2)\eta.Comment: v1: 13 pages, no figure. Radiating black hole solutions in arbitrary dimensions

We prove a theorem that characterizes a large family of non-static solutions to Einstein equations in NN-dimensional space-time, representing, in general, spherically symmetric Type II fluid. It is shown that the best known Vaidya-based (radiating) black hole solutions to Einstein equations, in both four dimensions (4D) and higher dimensions (HD), are particular cases from this family. The spherically symmetric static black hole solutions for Type I fluid can also be retrieved. A brief discussion on the energy conditions, singularities and horizons is provided.Comment: RevTeX 9 pages, no figure

Who is in the driver's seat in 8p12 amplifications? ZNF703 in luminal B breast tumors

    Get PDF
Two recent reports identify ZNF703 as an oncogene driving selection of frequent chromosome 8p12 amplifications in luminal B breast tumors. The estrogen-responsive ZNF703 gene encodes a transcriptional cofactor that, when overexpressed, induces cell proliferation and interferes with transforming growth factor beta signaling. In MCF7 cells, increased ZNF703 expression results in activation of genes involved in stem cell self-renewal - while in primary human mammary epithelial cells, ZNF703 increases the ratio of luminal to basal progenitors. Expression of the murine homolog of ZNF703 reduces cell adhesion and promotes metastasis. ZNF703 overexpression thus alters regulation of proliferation and differentiation in luminal B tumors

Healthcare utilisation patterns for respiratory and gastrointestinal syndromes and meningitis in Msunduzi municipality Pietermaritzburg KwaZuluNatal Province South Africa 2013

Background. Public health facilities are used by the majority of South Africans, and healthcare utilisation surveys have been a useful tool to estimate the burden of disease in a given area.Objectives. To describe care-seeking behaviour in a periurban site with a high prevalence of HIV infection, as well as barriers to seeking appropriate healthcare.Methods. We conducted a cross-sectional household survey in 22 wards of the Msunduzi municipality in KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, from October to December 2013 using a simple random sample of households selected from a 2011 census enumeration. A primary caregiver/adult decision-maker was interviewed regarding demographic data as well as health status and recent self-reported episodes of selected illnesses and healthcare utilisation.Results. Of the 2 238 eligible premises visited, 1 936 households (87%) with a total of 9 733 members were enrolled in the study. Of these, 635 (7%) reported one or more episodes of infectious illness during the study period. Public health clinics were most frequently consulted for all illnesses (361/635, 57%). Private healthcare (general practitioner, private clinic, private hospital) was sought by 90/635 of individuals (14%), only 13/635 (2%) reported seeking care from traditional healers, religious leaders or volunteers, and 71/635 (11%) did not seek any medical care for acute illnesses. Individuals in the lowest income group were more likely to seek care at public health facilities than those in the highest income group (70% v. 32%).Conclusions. Public health facility-based surveillance may be representative of disease patterns in this community, although surveillance at household level shows that high-income individuals may be excluded because they were more likely to use private healthcare, and the proportion of individuals who died at home would have been missed by facility-based surveillance. Data obtained in such surveys may be useful for public health planning.Ă‚
