Currently the higher education institutions need to search for new tools and methods to make learning more enjoyable and dynamic for students because the job market increasingly needs young people who have the ability to self-criticism above average. A search was performed on a course of action and technologist who had a total of 15 students, for the purpose of this research was to improve the learning level of students, reducing absenteeism and dropout, encourage research and participation in teamwork. As a way to develop this study the students had to develop a project of a bridge made of newspaper and involving the disciplines of logistics, financial management, human resource management and managing projects

Many are the possibilities of intervention in the organizations so that they rationalize their process of production, and satisfy the necessities of their customers. Among these possibilities to be treated in this article it is the stocks management optimization, that is one of the great generators of waste, also, when badly managed, occults the majority of the management problems. Simple elements as tools for predicting demand, stocks control and classification systems, evaluation physicist-financier system, layout, amongst other instruments, if correctly implanted and managed bring considerable benefits for the organization, increasing productivity and competitiveness. This research, has tried to restrict its focus, by studying the stocks management of a small of the computer science company located in the city of Bauru, State of Sao Paulo, which has an estimated population of 305.753 inhabitants, with approximately 1.338 industries, 7.094 commerce and 5.371 rendered company service

From the amount invested in fuel prices, the rate of road that owners of vehicles powered by combustion need to run within the city and on the roads in the region, began a study in order to allow a better definition as to the cost of supply of vehicle with Ethanol or gasoline. And to analyze the equation that the government, through Petrobras announces in the media, because it is mentioned that to obtain the lowest cost when the supply should divide the value of a liter of Ethanol Gasoline for that case stay above 0.70 is the ideal fuel to petrol and vice versa

In recent decades, significant changes have been noted in the business world, due to the increasing demand of customers, political and economic moments that create a dynamic nonmarket increasingly unstable, contributing to increasing challenges in understanding the demands. The objective was to evaluate the model operations management method BSC, in order to reduce costs and increase productivity and competitiveness. A study was conducted through a semi-open process, with 180 employees at a midsize company in the footwear industry Jaú, collecting information and data from the managers of each area. We conclude that the requirements for improved performance within organizations have made approaches for the management of operations evolve, becoming a broad and network management in the business, contributing to improvements in the condition of growth and sustainability of organizational activity. It is noteworthy, then, the need to use all available resources, minimizing problems and maximizing opportunities

Relação entre a variabilidade climática e a produção de cereja

Get PDF
Studies from all over the world show that climate change is already affecting the ecology and behavior of various species. The aim of this particular study is to show the relation between cherry tree productivity and climate variability. The first results indicate that productivity is more prone to climate variability in March and April, months of pollination, and May, when the fruit is formed. The climate data that was used was the temperature, precipitation, geopotential height and the wind. The applied methodology consisted of correlation analysis, empirical orthogonal functions and the utilization of graphs and maps to show the relation between filtered climate variability signals and cherry tree productivity. This way we can observe how the cherry tree population reacts to climate variability in Portugal and determine the best atmospheric conditions for cherry production. One of the potential applications of this study is to predict cherry production by observing the weather pattern given to us by statistical or dynamic models. Keywords: cherry tree productivity, temperature, precipitation, climate variability, NAO, circulation indexes, agriculture, climate

Organizations are adopting industrial production models with priority given to reducing costs and increasing the quality of their processes and products. Optimizing and rationalization the inventory management is a great opportunity for these companies conquer these goals. The objective of this paper is to analyze inventory management at two printing companies located in the region of Bauru, where one adopts the Engineering-To-Order (ETO) production system and the other the Make-To-Stock (MTS) production system, highlighting their convergences and oppositions. For their achievement was chosen by the methodology of study of multiple cases (two cases). Data were collected through the intersection of the following tools: semi-structure, document analysis and observation in loco. Revisions are made in theoretical work on the following topics: logistics, management of materials and production planning and control. These themes guided the search, allowing a greatest criticism about the collected data and information generated. The two case studies were presented together with a comparative table of the main aspects of the influence of demand management strategy on the inventory management in two companies. Although the companies adopt different production strategies, there was no significant change observed in inventory management strategy
