Method for making conductors for ferrite memory arrays

    Get PDF
The ferrite memory arrays are made from pre-formed metal conductors for the ferrite arrays. The conductors are made by forming a thin sheet of a metallizing paste of metal alloy powder, drying the paste layer, bisque firing the dried sheet at a first temperature, and then punching the conductors from the fired sheet. During the bisque firing, the conductor sheet shrinks to 58 percent of its pre-fired volume and the alloy particles sinter together. The conductors are embedded in ferrite sheet material and finally fired at a second higher temperature during which firing the conductors shrink approximately the same degree as the ferrite material

Spacetime Fermions in Light-cone Gauge Superstring Field Theory and Dimensional Regularization

We consider the dimensional regularization of the light-cone gauge type II superstring field theories in the NSR formalism. In the previous work, we have calculated the tree-level amplitudes with external lines in the (NS,NS) sector using the regularization and shown that the desired results are obtained without introducing contact term interactions. In this work, we study the tree-level amplitudes with external lines in the Ramond sector. In order to deal with them, we propose a worldsheet theory to be used instead of that for the naive dimensional regularization. With the worldsheet theory, we regularize and define the tree-level amplitudes by analytic continuation. We show that the results coincide with those of the first quantized formulation.Comment: 28 pages, 5 figures; v2: more details of our manipulations in subsection 3.2 added, figures and references added; v3: clarifications adde

Assessment literacy is part of the Economics teachers’ professional competence, yet little attention in the form research has been undertaken in this area. This study therefore explored Senior High School (SHS) Economics teachers’ conceptions of the purposes for undertaking classroom assessment. In specific terms, the study investigated Economics teachers’ understanding of the various motives that inform their assessment practices. The study also examined the influence of the Economics teachers’ demographic variables such as age, gender, and teaching experience on their conceptions of classroom assessment. It further assessed the influence of formal training in assessment on the teachers’ conceptions of the construct. The study was a descriptive type which employed the survey method. Participants of this study comprised 301 Senior High School Economics teachers drawn from the Central and Ashanti regions of Ghana. The participants were made up 213 male and 88 female teachers. A 50-item version of Brown’s Teachers’ Conceptions of Assessment (TCoA) inventory scale was adopted as the questionnaire for this study. Using a test-retest procedure of two-week interval, the TCoA which also made provisions for the demographic data of respondents on a different section, was administered on 36 Economics teachers. A reliability index of .813 was obtained. The data were analyzed using mean, t-test, and one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) statistical techniques. The findings of the study showed that a majority of the Economics teachers (mean score = 3.01) consented to the idea that classroom assessment leads to improvement in teaching and learning as well as ensuring school accountability (mean score = 3.27). The study also found that gender and age did not influence teachers’ conception of assessment. The study recommends that community of learners be organized for experienced and less experienced Economics teachers to enable them exchange ideas on the various purposes of classroom assessment

Zona Pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Pengolah Makanan di Kota Bekasi: The Development of Food Processing Centers for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Zone in Bekasi City

    Get PDF
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have very significant contribution to the growth and development of the economy of Bekasi City with a total of approximately 203,000 units. The large number of food processing MSMEs in Bekasi City has not been accompanied by the formation of a spatially integrated MSMEs center zoning. This research aims to understand the spatial distribution and the determination of the zones of food processing MSMEs in Bekasi City. The research was conducted in Bekasi City during February-August 2019. Data were obtained through data tracing from related agencies, field observations, and interviews with experts. Analytical methods include Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the weight of each parameter, and Multi Criteria Evaluation (MCE) for determining development centers. Analysis shows that the number of selected MSMEs was 220 samples, with the highest number of MSMEs in Pondok Gede District. Food processing MSME development zones in Bekasi City are divided into three development zones, namely development zone 1, development zone 2, and development zone 3. Development zone 1 and development zone 2 are the best zones located in West Bekasi District, Jatiasih District, and Jatisampurna District. Development Zone 2 consists of North Bekasi District, Medan Satria District, Pondok Gede District, and Pondok Melati District because the two zones are adjacent to Jakarta City. Meanwhile, development zone 3 should receive special attention, consisting of Bantar Gebang District, South Bekasi District, East Bekasi District, Mustika Jaya District, and Rawalumbu District
