    Identifikasi Jenis dan Manfaat Pohon di Wilayah Kampus Utama Universitas Sebelas Maret

    Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode jelajah dengan melakukan pendataan jenis pohon di wilayah kampus utama Universitas Sebelas maret. Selanjutnya dari berbagai jenis pohon yang ditemukan, ditentukan kategori manfaat setiap jenis dengan acuan buku Tanaman berguna Indonesia karya K.Heyne. Hasil yang diperoleh pada saat ini meliputi 116 tumbuhan diantaranya 61 jenis pohon yang ditemukan di area kajian. Dari ke 61 jenis pohon yang teridentifikasi, terdapat 7 kategori kegunaan utamanya. Ketuju kategori tersebut secara berturut turut adalah sebagai peneduh (49%) sebagai tanaman obat sebanyak (30%), sebagai bahan indsutri (25%), sebagai penghasil buah yang siap makan (25%), sebagai tanaman hias (25%), sebagai penghasil bahan makanan dan sayuran (13%), dan sebagai pagar (7%). Data ini juga menunjukkan bahwa di UNS tidak ada pohon yang meiliki kegunaan utama sebagai pakan ternak (0%) dan rempah rempah (0%). Dari hasil identifikasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pohon di lingkup UNS memiliki kategori kegunaan yang bervariasi meliputi peneduh,(paling banyak) bahan obat, bahan industry, penghasil buah, sayur dan bahan makanan,pagar (paling sedikit)

    Gangguan metabolism lipid atau dislipidemia berupa hipokolesterol dan hipertrigliserida biasa dijumpai pada penderita Diabetes mellitus (DM), mengikuti adanya gangguan metabolism karbohidrat sebagai manifestasi utama penyakit diabetes, yang mana dislipidemia tersebut dapat memacu timbulnya penyakit lain seperti jantung koroner dan aterosklerosis. Hasil dari beberapa penelitian dan kajian pustaka menunjukkan bahwa daun kluwih diduga dapat menjadi alternative pengendali diabetes. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida darah tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) yang dibebani glukosa sebagai manifestasi kondisi diabetic,setelah pemberian ekstrak daun kluwih Artocarpus altilis Park. Penelitian menggunakan 12 ekor tikus putih yang dibebani glukosa 4,5 g/kg BB per oral. Tiap sampel dibagi dalam empat kelompok yaitu K1 dibebani glukosa tanpa perlakuan, K2 glibenklamid, K3 jelompok uji ekstrak etanol daun kluwih dan K4 kelompok uji ekstrak air daun kluwihPengukuran kadar kolesterol total darah dengan metode CHOD PAP dan kadar kolesterol total darah dengan metode GPO PAP. Perlakuan dilakukan selama 14 hari. Data dianalisa secara statistic dengan program MINITAB 14 untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan pada tiap kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun kluwih dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida darah tikus putih yang dibebani glukosa, dimana kedua bentuk ekstrak yaitu ekstrak etanol dan ekstrak air memiliki kemampuan relative sama dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol dan trigliserida.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Penggunaan suplemen yang merupakan pengembangan topik sebagai hasil penelitian dalam pokok bahasan Limbah dapat meningkatkan keaktifan berdiskusi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. 2) Penggunaan suplemen yang merupakan pengembangan topik sebagai hasil penelitian dalam pokok bahasan Limbah dapat meningkatkan respon siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. di kelas X SMA Al Islam 1, SMA Batik 1 dan SMA N 7 Surakarta dalam pembelajaran Biologi pada materi pelajaran Ekosistem 2008/2009. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X 8 dari tiga SMA di Surakarta, Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Validasi data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dengan penggunaan suplemen hasil penelitian pada topik yang diajarkan pada SMA dapat meningkatkan 1) Aktivitas bertanya 2) Aktivitas berdiskus 3) Kerjasama siswa pada proses pembelajaran di kelas X SMA Al Islam 1, SMA Batik 1 dan SMA N 7 Surakarta dalam pembelajaran Biologi pada materi pelajaran Ekosistem.     Sistem Informasi Administrasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting pada sebuah instansi pendidikan SD N Patemon 2 Kabupaten Semarang untuk memanajemen dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan dengan cepat. Akan tetapi proses pengolahan data administrasi di sekolah ini belum terintegrasi. Sistem administrasi yang sedang berjalan masih menggunakan aplikasi MS. Excel, tanpa adanya database. Akibat dari hal tersebut banyak kendala yang dihadapi oleh pihak sekolah dalam urusan administrasi seperti pada pengolahan data siswa, data guru, data mata pelajaran, nilai siswa, raport dan laporan infaq. Sehingga penyajiann informasinya masih kurang cepat, tepat dan akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk mengatasi permasalahan sistem administrasi sekolah yang selama ini masih menerapkan sistem manual menjadi terkomputerisasi. Sistem aplikasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode prototype, apabila pada tahap yang sedang berjalan terdapat kekurangan pada tahap sebelumnya dapat dilakukan penambahan atau perbaikan langsung tanpa harus menyelesaikan tahap akhir terlebih dahulu. Adapun alat yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan model sistem adalah berupa diagaram alir data (flowchart) dan diagram konteks. Dalam perancangan Sistem Informasi Administrasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySql sebagai database. Sistem informasi Administrasi berbasis web yang dibuat dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pengolahan data dan pengarsipan data akademik seperti data siswa, data guru, data mata pelajaran, data ekstra, nilai siswa, raport dan laporan infaq. Sehingga informasi yang didapat lebih cepat, tepat dan akurat. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian , terbuatnya Sistem Informasi Administrasi Berbsis Web

    ABSTRACT – This research aims to find out: (1) the effect of guided inquiry learning strategy use on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of VIII graders of SMP Negeri (Public Junior High School) 1 Jaten; (2) the effect of the learning style on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten; and (3) the interaction between the learning strategy and learning style on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten. This study was a quasi-experiment research using Randomized Control Only Design. The learning strategy and learning style served as independent variable and learning outcomes in the cognitive domains served as dependent variable. The population of research was the even semester of VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten in the school year of 2011/2012. The sample of research was the VIII E graders as control group and VIII B graders as the experiment group. The sampling technique used was “Cluster Random Sampling”. Techniques of collecting data used for collecting data on learning outcomes in the cognitive domains were test. The measurement of biology learning style was done using questionnaire. Technique of analyzing data used was a two-way variance analysis (ANAVA) and Bunfferoni follow-up test. The conclution of the research are: 1) Guided Inquiry learning strategy affected significantly the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of the VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten; 2) Learning style did not affect the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of the VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten; and 3) there was no interaction between learning strategy and learning style on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of the VIII graders of SMP Negeri 1 Jaten.     ABSTRACT – The purposes of this research is to increase students interest in Biologu of class VII-A SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta through the implementation of Cooperative Model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) with Biological Comic in the subject of Pollution. This research is a Classroom Action Research with 3 cycles of action. Each cycle consisting of 4 phases which is planning, acting, observing, , and reflecting. Observational data obtained from the questionnaire, observation paper, and interview. Data validation is use triangulation method. Technical analysis of data is technical descriptive. Result of this research show that in the first cycle, according to the observation score, the average percentage of students interest in the class is 57,53%, 65,12% in the second cycle (worked up 7,59%), and 83,28% in the third cycle (worked up 18,16%). According to the questionnaire score, the average percentage of students interest in the first cycle is 71,04%, 71,77% in the second cycle (worked up 0,73%), and 73,66% in the third cycle (worked up 1,89%). Result of interview show that students. Hasil wawancara siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa more pleased and find it easier to learn the lessons of biology. Students are also interested in learning, students also are learning during the action is exciting activities. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of Cooperative Model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) with Biological Comic in the subject of Pollution can increase students interest in Biology of class VII-A SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta class year 2011/2012.     The purpose of this study is to improve student Questioning Participation on Biology teaching by implementation of Active Knowledge Sharing strategy on Blood System Regulation. This research is as classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Tahun Pelajaran 2011/ 2012. Source of data derived from teacher and student information, places and events on going learning activities, and documentation. Techniques and tools of data collection are questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Technical analysis of data is using qualitative descriptive. Data validation is use methods triangulation Result of the research show that with action performing brazes to pass through learning strategy purpose Active Knowledge Sharing questioning participation in biology learning in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Tahun Pelajaran 2011/ 2012. It is gone upon on questionnaire result, observation and interview. The average percentage each indicator of student activities based on observation for pre cycle is 42,30%, a cycle of 62,69% and 79,92% for cycle 2.     ABSTRACT – This research aimed to determine: (1) The effect of Science Technology Society (STS) model with Mind Map technique to Biology learning achivement grade 10th of at SMAN Colomadu Academic Year 2011/2012, (2) The effect of the application of STS model with Mind Map technique to environmental attitudes of 10th of students at SMAN Colomadu Academic Year 2011/2012. This research was Quasy Experimental Research used The Randomized Control Group Posttest Design. The population of this research were all students of SMA Colomadu Academic Year 2011/2012. The sample of this research was by cluster random sampling. The samples for this research was grade 10th.6 as the control classes with using various oral model with simple summary practice and grade 10th.2 as experimental class are using the STS learning model with the Mind Map technique. The data collection techniques is by documentation techniques, observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The technique of data analysis using the descriptive statistics and the inferential statistics with using t-test to test the hypothesis with the succor of SPSS 16. Based on the research can be concluded: (1) There is a significant effect of STS model with Mind Map technique on Biology learning achievement grade 10th at SMAN Colomadu Academic Year 2011/2012 with cognitive significant value 0000; psychomotor domain 0.000, and affective domain 0.019 (2) There is significant effect of STS model with Mind Map technique on environmental attitudes of class X at SMAN Colomadu Academic Year 2011/2012 with significant value 0.002.     This research is aimed to know effect of implementation strategy Giving Questions and Getting Answer (GQGA) towards biology learning achievement. This research held upon senior high school student of SMA N Banyudono in academic year 2011/2012. Giving Questions and Getting Answer (GQGA) was expected to be more effective rather than if use convensional method. All student of SMA N Banyudono had been chosen as a research population.Since, not all student was not attending biological class, hence, randomly, 2 clusters were selected representing the control class (for where the experimental treatment was not carried out) and the experimental class for where the Giving Questions and Getting Answer (GQGA). Quasy-experimental method was designed to achieve the stated research objectives following the quantitative paradigm used in this research. In addition, Randomized Subjects Posstest Only Control Group Design was used as a research design to facilitate the data collection procedures. The data were collected using several techniques namely, questionnaire, posttest with multiple choice, observation tools and related document. The final obtained data were then analyzed using t- test method. The results of this research showed that the implementation of the strategy has significantly affected the biology learning achievement. It has been proven to have an impact towards cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects

    Waste recycle has done for TPA Winong Boyolali at Winong Village. Organic waste was recycled being biomassa and the anorganic waste (plastic) was recycled to be unique bags handmade. Some of waste were made into products which has high economic in order to increase the income for Winong village society. Methodology of the program has 3 steps, First, socialization ofdisadvantages of waste and the economics potency. Second, biomassa and bags handmade training. Third, supervising for the production and then the marketing penetration indeed. The products from the program were lifeskills making biomassa and bags handmade. Biomassa center have made the biomassa 35 kg per week succesfully, and trashion center (bags handmade) have made 10 kinds of bags i.e. sandals, small bags and medium bags.
