    Lenght of fluidity is one of important factor that give influence on thin wall casting. The increasing lenght of fluidity will increase feeding ability molten metal. At the thin wall mould, the cooling rate temperature move rapidly and then increasing solidification rate cast metal. The aim of the research is studiying optimal mould temperature on Mg-44%Al casting process. Gravity methode is used as this casting. The mould was made by machining process. Molten metal was pouring on 650oC, 700 oC and 750 oC into difference mould temperature (650oC, 700oC and 750 oC). the mould has difference thickness 0,5 mm; 1mm; 1,5 mm; 2 mm; 2,5 mm; 3 mm; 3,5 mm;dan 4 mm. The maximum length of fluidity at mould temperature 200oC on pouring temperature 700oC. Each of mould temperature, Increasing lenght of fluidity untill mould temprature 650oC and 700oC but decreasing lenght of fluidity after pouring temperatur 750oC, at all difference mould temperatures

    Penelitian ini akan menyoroti Bagaimana prinsip-prinsip syariah dalam Undang-undang Nomor 21 tahun 2008 tentang Perbankan Syariah memberikan manfaat dalam menciptakan Tata Kelola Perusahaan yang Baik (Good Corporade Governance ) dan apa hambatan penerapannya dan bagaimana solusinya ? Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian hukum doktrinal (normatif) karena dalam penelitian ini hukum dikonsepsikan senagai norma positif dalam sistem perundang-undangan nasional. Jenis data adalah data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelusuran bahan-bahan hukum primer, sekunder, tersier. Teknik analisis data berupa data sekunder dianalisis secara kualitatif. Pola berpikir yang digunakan bersifat deduktif, setelah seluruh bahan terkumpul, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data berdasarkan logika deduksi, yaitu menarik kesimpulan dari hal-hal yang bersifat umum ke arah yang bersifat khusus. Artinya pola berpikir dari hal-hal yang bersifat umum (premis mayor) ke hal-hal yang bersifat khusus (premis minor), untuk membangun sistem hukum positif. Premis minor dalam penelitian ini berupa deskripsi ketentuan hukum (norma) prinsip-prinsip syariah, selanjutnya premis mayornya adalah Undang-undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2008 tentang Perbankan Syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara normatif Undang-undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2008 tentang Perbankan Syariah sudah terdapat prinsip-prinsip syariah serta sudah memberikan manfaat dalam menciptakan tata kelola Perusahaan yang Baik (Good Corporade Governance), yaitu, prinsip keadilan, transparasi, tanggung jawab, dan prinsip akuntabilitas sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut secara keseluruhan diterapkan sehingga akan memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap stakeloders, walaupun masih terdapat norma-norma yang masih sumir ketentuannya, sehingga diperlukan penjelasan yang lebih lengkap, misalnya melalui Peraturan Pemerintah atau ketentuan perundang-undangan lainnya

    The purpose of this study is to produce Android -based shoulder and wrist. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and North Sumatra PON athletes in December 2022. Types of research used in this study were development research with Research & Development (R&D) research designs from Borg and Gall. This research was conducted with 9 research stages, namely, (1) Research and Information Collecting, (2) Planning, (3) Developing Preminary Form of Product, (4) Preminary Field Testing, (5) Main Product Revision, (6) Main Field Testing, (7) Operational Product Revision, (8) Operational Field Testing, (9) Final Product Revision. The population in this study by using students of the Faculty of Sports Science and the North Sumatra Taekwondo Pelatda athlete. The technique of picking up using purposive sampling with a trial of phase I of 20 FIK students and the phase II trial of 30 athletes in North Sumatra Taekwondo Pelatda. Furthermore, from the trial of phase I, totaling 20 people showed 96% with very feasible criteria, then from the phase II trial of 30 North Sumatra Taekwondo Pelatda athletes showed 91% with a very decent category. From the results of research /feasibility tests conducted by test experts and measurements, IT experts and sports academics show 96% with a very feasible category, so that it can be used. On the basis of the data obtained, the development of Android -based shoulder and wrist test equipment is declared feasible to be developed as a test tool and measurement of shoulder muscle and wrist

    Numerical analysis on the effect of normotensive and hypertensive physiological conditions onto hemodynamic characteristics in stented carotid artery

    An arterial re-blockage or restenosis by abnormal atherosclerosis and thrombosis progression in carotid artery is associated with the geometry of the implanted medical device, called as stent. However, the physiological conditions consisting of normotensive and hypertensive blood flow in the stented carotid artery are rarely studied in term of hemodynamic characteristic especially near the geometry of the stent strut. Thus, the objective of this study is to determine the hemodynamic effect based on its characteristics at different stent strut configurations in carotid artery as well as analyzing the critical parameters at varying blood physiological conditions. Six different geometries of stent that resembles the existing medical device have been studied at three varying physiological conditions of blood. The study was conducted through computational fluid dynamic (CFD) method to analyze the hemodynamic characteristics of the blood flow parameters. In overall physiological condition, the stent geometry of Type VI which are resembling to Acculink (Abbott Vascular), had been shown to have the best hemodynamic characteristic by the parameters of time averaged wall shear stress low (TAWSSlow), oscillatory shear index (OSI) and relative residence time (RRT), which contributed with average luminal surface area percentage about 10.443%, 99.849% and 98.736%, respectively. As the physiological condition of blood flow increased from normotensive to hypertensive, there were two parameters shown to have critical hemodynamic characteristics at different stent geometries which are TAWSSlow and time averaged wall shear stress gradient (TAWSSG) that achieved about 32.388% and 36.629%, respectively. The study had shown that the different stent strut geometries had presented different hemodynamic characteristics due to the effect by the blood flow physiological condition

    MORPHOLOGICAL SPECIES VARIABILITY IN THE STEM-BORER GENUS Sdrpophaga, (LEPIDOPTERA: PYRALlDAE) ON GRAMINEOUS CROPS

    The objective of this study is to observe variations between and within species using morphometry. Collections of Scirpophaga were carried out at rice fields in the Northern Coastal area of Java (Pantura): Kerawang, Cikampek, lndramayu, Cirebon, at sugar-cane plantations in Yogyakarta and Pasuruan and various gramineous crops in areas of South Bandung and Lampung from March 1998 to March 1999. Identification was done using morphology of adult characters. Variation within the population groups are recognized by taking measurement of parts of the head, for example measurement of the length and width of the head. Other characters used ill keying adult Lepidoptera to family are those of willg uenation. Also the morphology of male genitalia were used as main characters to differentiate species Results from this studies shownthat: a) Scirpophaga innotata. Measllrement of parts of the head from sample collected showed very little variation, ihier were mentioned as a group. Variation based on wing size, length and width of forewing can bedivided into two groups sizes; the large group size (950 - 1025 lI11n/100) and the smolt group size (850 - 860min/100). Variation based on the size of male gellitalia were more varied in ranging; between 20 - 26min/100 in length and 23 - 35 min/100 but they can be put into one group. b) Scirpophaga incertulas. Measurelllent of parts of the head show little variation in the scattered diagram distribution, and is considered as the same population group. Variation based on wing size, length and width of forewing collected from various places in Java indicated that populations of this insect does not indicate any differences in term of types of wing uenations and considered as similar populatious. Variation based on the size of male genitalia seemed to the same group in the scattered diagmm. c) Scirpophaga excerptalis Measurement of parts of the head(the length and width of the head) considerd as one population. Variation based on the size of nutle genitalia seemed to the smile group in the scattered diagrmn

    Study of Bio-Coal Briquette as Solid Fuel for Aluminum Smelter

    Research on alternative energy today based on issues of global warming and greenhouse effects. The use of coal briquettes from low-calorie coal derived from mines in the province of South Sumatera originally destined for the food industry is less desirable because it emits black and smelly smoke, is difficult to turn on, and it is difficult to shut down quickly. So the thought arises to use this coal briquettes for the manufacturing industry and metal casting. In a previous study, the manufacture of mixed briquettes between low calorie coal (lignite) and biomass was more environmentally friendly due to low sulfur content. Therefore, in this study, a study was conducted to find the best biomass species to be mixed with lignite to bio-coal with the highest carbon content criteria and lowest sulfur content. The results showed that the mixture type between coconut shell and lignite reached the optimum condition with carbon content of 57.923% and the lowest sulfur was 0.259% in the mixture ratio of 9 : 1.     Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan penggunaan media jaring-jaring bangun ruang sisi lengkung untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada mata pelajaran matematika. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik di Kelas V-A SDN Cilumber melalui penggunaan media jaring-jaring bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Sedangkan secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaaan pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi menentukan jaring-jaring berbagai bangun ruang sederhana melalui pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengadaptasi model dari Kemmis dan Taggart dan menggunakan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas V-A SDN Cilumber Kecamatan Lembang - Kabupaten Bandung Barat berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah menghitung skor peserta didik tiap siklus, skor rata-rata kelas, ketuntasan belajar peserta didik, dan gain ternormalisasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan secara umum bahwa penggunaan media jaring-jaring bangun ruang sisi lengkung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik Kelas V-A SDN Cilumber. Sedangkan kesimpulan secara khusus kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media ini secara bertahap mengalami perbaikan. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media ini telah membuat peserta didik menjadi aktif, mampu mengajak peserta didik untuk berpikir dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik tiap siklusnya tidak semua mengalami peningkatan, tetapi jika dilihat dari skor rata-rata kelas maka setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan. Kategori peningkatan siklus I – siklus II adalah 0,87 yang artinya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dikategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, penelitian tindakan kelas ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas baik secara proses maupun hasil belajar peserta didik. While the conclusion specials for the reaserch is : (1) planning of the learning with this media manner in stages experience repair. (2) realization of the learning using this media had make the students to be active, be able to invite students for think and the learning more than meaningful. (3) The result of the studies from the students every cycle not of all experience increase, if but if views average score class then every cycle experience increase.     Policy Implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) (Case Study on Mining Activities in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia)

    The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of EIA policies by Mining Companies in Gorontalo, Indonesia. This study uses a case study research design by conducting participatory observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation on the phenomenon of EIA policy implementation in Gorontalo. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study found that the implementation of the EIA policy in Gorontalo was predominantly intervened by the government with a command-and-control approach starting from the process of issuing environmental permits to regular supervision carried out to measure the level of compliance of mining companies in monitoring and handling ecological impacts. However, community participation was only involved in scoping mining activities and assessing EIA documents. In its implementation, mining companies are less open and responsive to the local government and overlapping supervision between provincial and district governments.
