    Strategi pengorganisasian pembelajaran model elaborasi me¬rupakan salah satu jenis strategi pembelajaran pengorganisasian materi yang bersifat makro, dan dapat digunakan dalam pem¬belajaran Gambar Mesin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk me¬nge¬tahui perbedaan hasil belajar Gambar Mesin antara mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan dengan strategi pengorganisasian elaborasi dan mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan dengan strategi pengorganisasian buku teks bagi mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif spasial tinggi dan spasial rendah serta Interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan gaya kognitif dalam pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar Gambar Mesin. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experimen yang dilak¬sa¬na¬kan dengan menggunakan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Rancangan tersebut termasuk dalam Prestest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik UNY Yogyakarta yang mengambil mata pelajaran Gambar Mesin. Mata kuliah tersebut diadakan pada mahasiswa tingkat 1, semester genap. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 240 mahasiswa yang menyebar dalam 6 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini diambil secara cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis data untuk mengukur keterampilan gambar mesin mahasiswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Elaborasi menunjukkan rerata skor 63,13 dan strategi pembelajaran buku teks menunjukkan rerata nilai 57,97. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan Spasial yang mempengaruhi keterampilan gambar mesin maha¬siswa. Strategi pembelajaran elaborasi memberikan hasil ke-terampilan gambar mesin yang lebih tinggi dari pada strategi pembelajaran buku teks bagi mahasiswa yang berkemampuan Spasial tinggi. Bagi mahasiswa yang berkemampuan spasial tinggi, dalam penelitian ini, penggunaan pendekatan elaborasi pada pengajaran gambar mesin sebagai sarana memberi pemenuhan pengalaman yang cukup cepat. Kondisi ini sulit diperoleh pada pembelajaran dengan strategi buku teks, karena selama pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini mereka lebih sedikit mem¬per¬oleh pengalaman mengerjakan pembuatan gambar mesin. Se-baliknya bagi mahasiswa berkemampuan spasial rendah, mereka memerlukan bimbingan selama proses pembelajaran, selain itu contoh atau prosedur yang telah disampaikan oleh dosen me¬rupakan panduan yang sangat membantu pada saat mereka bekerja sendiri menggunakan berbagai peralatan gambar mesin.     This study aims at investigating the difference of creativity between the students treated with the Student-Centered Learning (SCL) strategy and the students treated with the Direct Learning strategy. It was a quasi-experimental study employing the non-equivalent control group design. It was conducted using the 2x2 factorial design. The research population were 40 students attending the course of Fabrication Construction Design. The results of the study showed that (1) The creativity of the students using the SCL strategy attained mean scores of 42.65, higher than the students using the Direct Learning strategy with mean scores of 39. (2) The students with high spatial ability using the SCL strategy attained mean scores of 49, higher than the students using the Direct Learning strategy with mean scores of 36.3. (3) The students with low spatial ability using the SCL strategy attained mean scores of 36.3, lower than the students using the Direct Learning strategy with mean scores of 41.70. (4) There was an interaction between the learning strategy and the spatial ability in terms of the effect on the creativity

    Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) is one of the fishery resources that has economic value. The fulfillment of market needs that are still dependent on nature encourages efforts in the cultivation of mangrove crabs (Scylla serrata). Sengkubang Village has a mangrove area which is the habitat of mangrove crabs that have the potential to be used as cultivated land, but data related to habitat parameters and quality are not yet available. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and quality of mangrove crab habitat (Scylla serrata) in the coastal waters of Sengkubang Village, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency. The research method used is to measure water quality including temperature, salinity, water pH, substrate pH, DO, tidal waterlogging, substrate texture, vegetation type, and vegetation density. Crab fishing is carried out by free sampling and using traditional traps (bubu). The research data was compared with habitat quality score data based on the Mangrove Crab Habitat Quality Index. The results showed that the quality of the mangrove crab habitat of Scylla serrata in the coastal waters of Sengkubang village, Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency is classified as moderate with a total value of 58 so that it is quite supportive for the growth and development of mangrove crabs

    There are many health education methods, most of which do not involve the participants actively. Workbooks are educational media that encourage a person's active role and are expected to increase self-efficacy, where self-efficacy itself is a predictor of self-care management behavior. This study aimed to identify differences in hypertension prevention's self-efficacy before and after health education using a workbook. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pre-post-test design with a control group. This study's population was teaching staff in two health faculties at one of the universities in West Java, Indonesia. The sample was determined using the convenience sampling technique and obtained 24 respondents divided into the control and intervention groups. Data collection using the instrument "self-efficacy for prevention of hypertension." The data were analyzed using the median and frequency distribution, while for the different tests, the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test were used. The median pre-test for self-efficacy was 105 and 110, while the post-test was 104.5 and 110.5 in the control and intervention groups. While the p-value of the difference test between the two groups before the intervention was 0.326 (p> 0.05), while after the intervention, the p-value was 0.002 (p <0.05). This study indicated a significant difference in the self-efficacy of hypertension prevention after being given education using a workbook in the two groups, where the self-efficacy score in the intervention group was higher than the control group. As a recommendation, workbooks can be used as an educational tool for hypertension prevention to increase self-efficacy

    Kegiatan pengabdian di tahun I ini mempunyai tujuan: (1) meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produk; (2) mentransfer kemampuan dalam berbahasa Inggris; (3) mentransfer kemampuan dalam pemanfaatan media internet; serta (4) meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap pelaksanan K3. Metode yang diterapkan dalam rangka pelaksanaan kegiatan di tahun I ini, adalah: (1)untuk kegiatan dalam rangka transfer teknologi menggunakan metode modifikasi, dan pembelian; (2) untuk kegiatan dalam rangka transfer knowledge menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi dan praktik; (3) untuk kegiatan pemantauan produktivitas mitra menggunakan metode observasi. Hasil atau luaran yang dicapai di tahun I adalah (1)Chumplung Adji Craft: 1 unit mesin bubut, 1 unit mesin scroll saw, 1 unit mesin table saw, 2 unit motor listrik, mampu berkomunikasi dengan Bahasa Inggris, mampu menggunakan internet sebagai media pemasaran, memiliki blog (chumplungadjicraft.blogspot.com), 15 paket peralatan K3, kesadaran pelaksanaan K3 meningkat, mampu mengoperasikan mesin bubut kayu dengan berbagai variasi bentuk, serta mengalami peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 24%; (2)Surya Bathok Craft: 1 unit mesin scroll saw, 3 unit mesin bor, 1 unit mesin table saw, 2 unit motor listrik, 3 set modifikasi pisau bor, 1 unit komputer, mampu berkomunikasi dengan Bahasa Inggris, mampu menggunakan internet sebagai media pemasaran, memiliki blog (suryabathokcraft.blogspot.com), 15 paket peralatan K3, kesadaran pelaksanaan K3 meningkat, serta mengalami peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 26

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Brainstorming untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas Mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Praktik Fabrikasi

    Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam menghasilkan produk dan cara-cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas setelah mendapat perlakuan metode proyek dengan pola brainstorming dalam mata kuliah Praktik Fabrikasi. Penelitian ini termasuk quasi experiment. Teknik analisis yang digunakan, yaitu: (1) analisis dekriptif; (2) Uji-t sampel berkorelasi; dan Uji-t independent. Pelaksanaan kerja proyek (project work)  pada masing-masing kelompok dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu: (1) persiapan, (2) pengembangan ide, (3) seleksi ide, dan (4) penentuan ide. Pada tahap persiapan, mahasiswa mengumpulkan berbagai informasi mengenai obyek yang akan dibuat. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kreativitas mahasiswa sebelum perlakuan pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 55,02% dan kelompok control sebesar 54,12%. Kreativitas mahasiswa setelah perlakuan pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 70,32% dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 58,85%. Ada peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa secara signifikan setelah diberi perlakuan dengan model belajar brainstorming. Terdapat perbedaan kreativitas yang signifikan antara mahasiswa kelompok perlakuan dengan kelompok kontrol setelah perlakuan dengan model belajar brainstorming

    Surabaya is an area have all kinds of cafe. Among many cafe in Surabaya one angkringan Jogja Mak Joss having decoration using the concept of ethnic Indonesian Java. So as to create a perception of different received by consumers Mak Joss Surabaya angkringan store.The purpose of this study to know the store atmosphere consumer perception of Java.            In this research using samples from 100 respondents with the accidental sampling and collecting data using a questionnaire.This is the kind of research quantitative. An analysis of the data used was the multiple linear regression analysis, correlation, determination, a partial and simultaneous.
