Las nuevas poéticas de Aristóteles a Robert McKee

A través de un recorrido comparativo entre las poéticas antiguas y las nuevas poéticas -sobre todo, aquellas dedicadas a la enseñanza de la ficción narrativa y del guión audiovisual-, analizamos la evolución del género de la poética, tomando principalmente como referente la temática del personaje. También defendemos la absoluta vigencia de dicho género, aunque los nuevos medios y nuevos lenguajes narrativos impongan una revisión del concepto.Through a comparative survey of past and new poetics -especially those focused on the teaching of story telling and of audiovisual scripts-, this paper analyzes the development of the genre of poetics, using the subject of character as a main reference. The current applicability of the genre is also defended, although the new media and the new narrative languages make it necessary to review the concept.Au moyen d'un parcours comparatif entre les poétiques anciennes et les nouvelles poétiques -surtout, celles consacrées á Penseignement de la fiction narrative et du scénario audio-visuel-, nous analysons l'évolution du genre de la poétique, en prenant comme référent principalement la thématique du personnage. Appraisal of old photographs

A pesar de que en nuestro país la introducción de la fotografía a nivel creativo y comercial ha sido tardía con respecto a otros países como EE.UU o Gran Bretaña, el panorama actual nos hace pensar en ciertos cambios a corto plazo. Se trata de un hecho que nos revela la importancia de contar, a nivel profesional, con las herramientas necesarias de cara a poder valorar artística y económicamente una de las principales expresiones creativa de nuestro tiempo. Este artículo se centra de forma específica en la tasación de fotografía antigua, dentro de la cual clasificamos las producciones de los padres de las primeras corrientes creativas como el Pictorialismo o la Fotografía Directa. En el mercado secundario estas piezas alcanzan diferentes cotizaciones en base a una serie de variables, las cuales serán analizadas a través de un modelo de tasación específicamente diseñado para este soporte artístico y esta franja cronológica.Despite the fact that in our country the introduction of photography creative and commercial level has been late with respect to other countries such as the USA or Great Britain, the current panorama makes us think of certain changes in the short term. It is a fact that reveals the importance of professional level, with the necessary tools in order to be able to assess artistic and economically one of the most important creative expressions of our time. This article focuses specifically on the valuation of old photograph, within which we classify the productions of the fathers of the first creative flows as pictoralism or straight photography. In the secondary market these parts reach different quotes based on a number of variables, which will be analyzed through a pricing model specifically designed for this artistic support and this chronological period

Proposed Methodology to Evaluate CO2 Capture Using Construction and DemolitionWaste

Since the Industrial Revolution, levels of CO2 in the atmosphere have been constantly growing, producing an increase in the average global temperature. One of the options for Carbon Capture and Storage is mineral carbonation. The results of this process of fixing are the safest in the long term, but the main obstacle for mineral carbonation is the ability to do it economically in terms of both money and energy cost. The present study outlines a methodological sequence to evaluate the possibility for the carbonation of ceramic construction waste (brick, concrete, tiles) under surface conditions for a short period of time. The proposed methodology includes a pre-selection of samples using the characterization of chemical and mineralogical conditions and in situ carbonation. The second part of the methodology is the carbonation tests in samples selected at 10 and 1 bar of pressure. The relative humidity during the reaction was 20 wt %, and the reaction time ranged from 24 h to 30 days. To show the e ectiveness of the proposed methodology, Ca-rich bricks were used, which are rich in silicates of calcium or magnesium. The results of this study showed that calcite formation is associated with the partial destruction of Ca silicates, and that carbonation was proportional to reaction time. The calculated capture e ciency was proportional to the reaction time, whereas carbonation did not seem to significantly depend on particle size in the studied conditions. The studies obtained at a low pressure for the total sample were very similar to those obtained for finer fractions at 10 bars. Presented results highlight the utility of the proposed methodology

Response of Mediterranean grassland species to changing rainfall : a reply to Figueroa and Davy

Se han revisado los resultados publicados por Figueroa & Davy en el Journal of Ecology (vol 79: 925-941, 1991) sobre la relación entre las variaciones en frecuencia de las especies de pastos mediterráneos del W de España y la precipitación, debido a que sus resultados contradicen los de otros autores que también han estudiado estas relaciones en otros pastos mediterráneos. La causa de esta contradicción estriba en que los datos de precipitación utilizados por Figueroa & Davy contienen muchos errores. Cuando se utilizan los datos correctos los resultados son concordantes con los de los otros autores.The results of a paper of Figueroa & Davy in the Journal of Ecology (vol 79: 925-941, 1991) on the relationships between changes in species frequency and rainfall in a Mediterranean grassland of W Spain have been revised, because they do not agree with the results of other authors that have studied this relationships in other Mediterranean grasslands. The lack of agreement is the result of the inaccuracies contained in the rainfall data used by Figueroa & Davy. When the correct rainfall data are used, the results agree with those of the other authors

Estudi de viabilitat d'una planta de tractament d'aigües

La política actual en matèria d’aigües a la Unió Europea fa clara referència al tractament sostenible de l’ús de l’aigua i el respecte pel medi en tots els àmbits. En l’aplicació de les directives que la regeixen a Catalunya, l’Agència Catalana de l’Aigua, com a màxim exponent en gestió d’aquest recurs, ha impulsat diferents línies d’actuació per complir les normatives de la UE. Un dels punts destacats és el tractament de les aigües residuals per a nuclis de població menors de 2000 habitants. La llei indica que aquests municipis han de depurar les seves aigües amb un tractament adequat. D’entre tots els sistemes de depuració existents, les tecnologies sostenibles i concretament els aiguamolls construïts representen el major exponent en quan a adequació i compliment de les directrius en aquests nuclis urbans. La obligació de depurar fa que s’obri un ampli mercat en relació als sistemes de baix cost, dins els quals es troben els aiguamolls. L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és avaluar el paper que pot tenir el sistema dins el mercat i la competència vers els altres tractaments d’aigües. L’estudi pretén indicar quins són els punts forts, i analitzar la viabilitat econòmica i conceptual
