    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan alat bantu Game Puzzle agar dapat meningkatkan prestasi  belajar siswa kelas  X SMA N 1 Piyungan. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XB SMA N 1 Piyungan, berjumlah 23 siswa, sedangkan obyek penelitian ini adalah prestasi belajar matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes yang berupa soal uraian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XB SMA N 1 Piyungan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil tes dari pra siklus 61,13 menjadi 70,91 pada siklus I dan menjadi 85,22 pada siklus II. Sedangkan presentase siswa yang telah mencapai KKM yaitu 21,74% pada pra siklus, meningkat menjadi 30,43% siswa pada siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 78,26% siswa pada siklus II

    The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in order to increase learning activity and mathematics achievement of class VII D SMP N 1 Nglipar. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted a minimum of two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VII D SMP N 1 Nglipar totaling 32 students. The object of this study were learning activity and mathematics achievement. The results showed that learning activity and mathematics achievement have increased. This is indicated by the average percentage of observation sheet result of student learning activity by 60,93% first cycle and 81,77% in the second cycle. Results of students mathematics learning achievement test, the average value of mathematics learning achievement at 57,18 pre-cycle, the first cycle increased to 69,44 and the second cycle increased to 74,56. Based on the results of the implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model can increased learning activity and mathematics achievement

    Team Accelerated Instruction, Initials and Problem-Solves Ability In Junior High School

    This research aims to test the effectiveness of the Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) towards the ability of the students to solve mathematics problems based on their initial ability. This study is an experiment with 367 students involved as the research sample taken using the cluster technique. The research variable is the problem-solving ability, the initial ability, and the learning model. Analysis of variance was used to analyze the data which leads to the conclusions that (1) the TAI is more effective than the Direct Instruction (DI); (2) the students having moderate initial ability performed better compared to the lower and the higher initial ability; (3) among the students with moderate initial ability, TAI was more effective to be used than DI; and (4) in the implementation of  TAI and DI, the problem solving ability of the students is relatively similar

    Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi komunikasi intepersonal, kecerdasan emosional dan komitmen organisasi sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dalam perspektif pembinaan guru SD Negeri Se - kecamatan Pengasih Kabupaten Kulon Progo secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi intepersonal, kecerdasan emosional, omitmen organisasi sekolah dan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SD Negeri Se - kecamatan Pengasih Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SD Negeri Se - kecamatan Pengasih Kabupaten Kulon Progo dengan ukuran populasi 200 orang. Besarnya sampel ditentukan berdasarkan tabel penentuan jumlah sampel yang dikembangkan oleh Isaac dan Michael untuk taraf kesalahan 5% yaitu 127 orang. Penetapan sampel dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi intepersonal, kecerdasan emosional dan komitmen organisasi sekolah berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dalam perspektif pembinaan guru SD Negeri Se - kecamatan Pengasih Kabupaten Kulon Progo baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.                                    Kata Kunci:    kinerja guru, komunikasi intepersonal, kecerdasan emosional, komitmen organisasi sekolah

    This research aims to know the information about the tendency of the mathematics learning achievement and activeness of students in SMP N 2 Tempuran VII grade by snowball throwing and conventional model, to determind which method will give good achievement in mathematics, between cooperative snowball throwing type and the conventional method, to know which the mathematics learning achievement that is better among high, medium, and low activeness, to know the interactions between application of learning model and activeness level. The population of this research was all students of class VII consist of 5 classes in SMP N 2 Tempuran 2013/2014. The research sample of 2 classes was taken by cluster sampling technique. The data analysis uses descriptive analysis and two-way ANAVA analysis. The results of the analysis in the research are: 1) the mathematics learning achievement of class experiment is very high (), (2) the mathematics learning achievement of class control is high (, (3) the activeness of class experiment is moderate (), (4) The activeness of class control is low (), (5) Class experiment has better learning achievement than class control (= 4.5386), (6) the mathematics learning achievement of students who have high activeness is better than students who have moderate activeness, the mathematics learning achievement of students who have moderate activeness is better than students who have low activeness, the mathematics learning achievement of students who have high activeness is better than students who have low activeness (= 9.94245), (7) There is no interaction between learning model and activeness level of students based on the mathematics learning achievement of students.     The purposes of this research were to know the achievement of tendency and learning mathematics desire seventh grade students of junior high school in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Wonosari use cooperative learning model that conclude STAD and TAI types, to know which one the most effective. The type of this research was quasi experiment research. The population of this research was seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Wonosari academic year 2013/2014. The data that will be analyzed were two classes’ amount 73 students. The data were collected by cluster random sampling technique with drawing way. The data collecting technique were using test and questionnaire technique. Experiment analysis instrument was done usefully include validity, different power, level of difficulties and reliability test. The data analysis technique was descriptive and hypothesis test that done by due diligent test. The result of this research can conclude that: Mathematics learning achievement of STAD students experiment was categorized as medium, mathematics achievement of TAI students experiment was high categorized; Mathematics learning desire of STAD students experiment was high categorized, mathematics learning desire of TAI students experiments was high categorized; Based on mathematics learning of students, TAI experiment group have higher achievement than STAD experiment group therefore cooperative learning model TAI type more effective that cooperative learning STAD type. TAI experiment group have higher mathematics learning desire than STAD experiment group, so cooperative learning model TAI type more effective that cooperative learning model STAD type, it can seen from learning mathematic desire of students

    The purposes of this research is to know. 1) tendency of math anxiety, parental concern, and mathematics achievement, 2) correlation among math partially, and 3) relative contribution and effective contribution of each predictor. The subjects of this research is 112 students class 7th grade of junior high school 1 Banguntapan Bantul. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and test. The results showed that: 1) tendency of math anxiety is moderate, parental concern is high, and mathematics achievement is high, 2) there are: corelation positive among math anxiety and parental concern with mathematics achievement, corelation negative between math anxiety with mathematics achievement, and corelation positive between parental concern with mathematics achievement 3) relative contribution of math anxiety is 84,23%, relative contribution of parental concern is 15,77%, effective contribution of math anxiety and parental concern with mathematics achievement is 21,1%

    The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of Tamansiswa precept values in teaching mathematic activity to shown the students characters. The research is qualitative descriptive research. The data gets from an observation, an interview, and documentation. The research shows that mathematic teachers of seventh and eighth grade in Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Junior High School are already implementing the values of Tamansiswa precept in teaching activity. The implementation of Tamansiswa precept values is done by using variety methods of teaching mathematic such as, communicative method, guided discovery method, cooperative method (STAD), and task method. The character of student which already organized is shows in VII A class, while VII C still needs a process to build the student character.
