Nowadays the sustainability of the sector has become threatened with faecal pollution of rivers used to irrigate produce. A ten months study was done to assess the enteropathogenic bacterial load and distribution in water, vegetables and fruits along some  parts of river Kaduna. The results of bacteriological analysis obtained from water and irrigated vegetables sampled at the various sampling points revealed high correlation with those isolated from the river water in load and species types. Escherichia coli was the predominant coliform isolated with 90% frequency of occurrence in Lettuce(Lactuca sativa). Salmonella and Shigella species were the only enteropathogenic bacteria with high percentage of occurrence at point B. In the control sample, only two enteropathogenic bacteria Salmonella and Shigella species registered 5% frequency of occurrence. The preponderance of identical enteropathogenic bacteria in both vegetables and water in all the three sample points is suggestive of cross contamination by irrigation water from the river. Bring  to doubts the safety value of vegetables cultivated along study area and portended  health risk of food-borne infection to potential consumers of raw eaten vegetables irrigated by the water and users of the water downstream. Key Words: Enteropathogenic bacteria, Irrigated vegetables, River Kaduna.

Changing from the form of the pronunciation to another form only occurs due to a specificity necessitated by the context, and is not envisaged in the speech of the Arabs except by those who know the symbols of eloquence, eloquence, and meanings, and know the secrets of the speech of the Arabs. Variation in the morphological forms of nouns of all kinds is also not an obstacle, especially in Quranic expression, but rather leaves a semantic guide required by the context, occasions, and positions. Among these connotations is the departure from the original meaning to a secondary meaning or another meaning through which it indicates an additional meaning, such as changing from the infinitive to the plural and vice versa, from the masculine to the feminine and vice versa, from the indefinite to the definite article, from the infinitive to the derivatives and vice versa, and so on. This paper aims to reveal those connotations and rhetorical meanings behind the phenomenon of variation in the forms of nouns according to morphological rules and sometimes syntactic, while pointing out some of the differences in opinions of scholars on the issue in which these differences were found

The efficacy of School-based Behavior Modification (BM) treatments for students with Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD) is being debated. This article explored several empirical studies carried out (in the last decade) on effectiveness of the various BM interventions with a view to determining whether such approaches are mere placebo or panacea. Also issues regarding the various developmental difficulties encountered by students with ADD over time and across content areas are discussed. Furthermore, results from studies designed to determine the efficacy of some behavioral techniques such as; Contingency Management Techniques, Good Behavior Game, Self-mediation, Self-evaluation etc. are equally reviewed. Based on this review and evidence advanced in this text, the paper posits that School-based Behavioral Modification (BM) treatments for ADD are effective in the short run and indeed a panacea for reducing disruptive behaviors and improving on-task behavior and academic performance of students with the disorder. Results of the study reveals that the use of ICT, from random effects model, does not improve bank performance in the Nigerian commercial banks. However, increased profitability, total equity showed significant relationships between bank performance and hence economic growth in the country. Similarly, a positive influence on bank performance is also revealed but is not statistically significant. The conclusion draws is that improved investment in ICT equipment does not improve bank performance. Rather relevant policies which could boost bank performance in term of profitability, capitalisation and consolidation should be pursued which are also the main determinants of economic growth

Background: An isolated tuberculousorchitis is a rare lesion and is distinctly unusual as the primary presentation of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. A high index of suspicion remains decisive to this diagnosis especially when the clinico-radiological findings of such lesion affirmed features of the testiculartumour.Case Report: A 32-year old man presented with a three-months history of left sided painless progressive testicular swelling. Further clinico-radiological findings revealed traits of a left testicular tumour. He was found to be HIV positive only at the index presentation whilst the histopathology of the left sided orchidectomy tissue confirmed tuberculous (TB) orchitis. Conclusion: High index of suspicion for TB orchitis with HIV in a patient with clinico-radiological findings of the testicular tumour from areas with high HIV and TB prevalence help in an expeditious diagnosis and therapy. Keywords: Tuberculosis, tuberculous orchitis, testicular tumou

Some haematological parameters of inter-generic hybrid African catfish (Clarias anguillaris x Heterobranchus bidorsalis) were investigated to assess the ability of the hybrids to withstand culture conditions in North East Nigeria. The result shows that packed cell volume (PCV), red blood cells (RBC), Haemoglobin (Hb), mean cell haemoglobin concentration (MCHC) and platelets (PLT) were higher in pure line Clarias anguillaris. However, white blood cell (WBC) and lymphocytes (LYM) were higher in female H. bidorsalis x male C. anguillaris (Heteroclarias) hybrid. PCV, MCHC, Hb, and RBC of all the fish species observed in this study were within the healthy ranges for fish. The results of this study shows that Heteroclarias have haematological competence for survival in culture conditions in the region
