The study of Etiquette culture in social life in Qing Dynasty from the perspective of Westerners: on the basis of research and reinterpretation upon a manuscript about Chinese grammar written by missionary came to China

The thesis focuses on Notitia Linguae Sinicae written by Joseph de Prémare, especially research on the new found chapters about "Chinese etiquette" in British Library. Joseph de Prémare wrote this unique chapter in a grammar book for the aim of introducing some important norms in conversation, social behavior and human relationship in social and officialdom life in Qing dynasty. These contents not only showed the real life about Chinese ordinary people and literati, but also the tendency and change of the view about social etiquette. By sorting out these materials, they provides precious language materials to the research of "Guanhua" in Ming and Qing dynasties, and furthermore, it helps us to profoundly understand the social customs at the time from the perspective of westerners. The new found chapter could provide a lot reference value to the research of social and cultural history in Ming and Qing dynasty

Joseph de Prémare, S. J.’s Biography and Academic Achievements

Joseph de Prémare (1666-1736) was a French Jesuit who came to China during the reign of the Qing dynasty emperor, Kangxi. Thirty years in China, he became one of the leading Figurists, but also well known for his profound knowledge of the Chinese language among the Jesuits in China. He wrote many works on Figurism; none, however, were allowed to be published at the time. His representative work, Notitia Linguae Sinicae (1728), was known the most authoritative Chinese grammar book until the 19th century, and was highly praised by missionaries and sinologists. De Prémare’s translation,L’Orphelin de la maison de Tchao (1731), made hims the first to introduce Chinese drama to Europe. Furthermore, he wrote a short novel entitled Meng Mei Tu Si (1709) [夢美土祀], which is perhaps the first novel written in Chinese by a Western missionary.Nevertheless, contemporary research on de Prémare fails to match his remarkable contribution to the history of Christianity in China, to the history of western Sinology and to the worldwide history of Chinese language instruction. 我国储蓄率一直居高不下,本文试着从宏观经济学角度出发,采用国际宏观经济学模型来分析我国出现高储蓄率的原因:一是生命周期理论储蓄和产出增长关系;二是迭代模型储蓄和人口增长关系,然而无法得到预期的结论。在此基础上,笔者实证分析了居民收入分配结构(基尼系数)和货币化程度(M2/GNP)对我国储蓄的影响,从而找出我国高储蓄率的重要影响因素
