    Sideritis species are traditionally used as teas, flavoring agents and for medicinal purposes in Turkey . In this study, the antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Sideritis condensata Boiss. & Heldr. (SC) and Sideritis eryhrantha v ar. erythrantha Boiss. & Heldr. (SE) endemic species' extracts of Lamiaceae were determined. These extracts were investigated for antibacterial activity by using the agar diffusion method against 15 species of bacteria: Aeromonas hydrophila, Bacillus cereus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterococcus feacalis, Escherichia coli, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycobacterium smegmatis, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus and Yersinia enterocolitica.     THE IMPACT OF PATIENT RELATIVES IN THE PREVENT PATIENT FALLS

    Bu çalışma, hasta yakınlarının hastalarının düşmesini önlemek üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla şerçekleştirilmiştir. Tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan bu çalışma, Trakya Üniversitesi Saşlık Araştırma ve Uyşulama Merkezi şenel cerrahi bölümünde yatan hastaların yakınlarının katılımıyla Nisan-Mayıs 2015 tarihleri arasında şerçekleştirildi. Veriler, çalışmaya katılmaya şönüllü olan 59 hasta yakınından elde edildi. Anket formu, literatürden yararlanılarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlandı ve uyşulandı. Toplanan veriler SPSS 20,0 paket proşramı ile frekans ve yüzde kullanılarak analiz edildi. Hasta yakınlarının %47,5’i hasta düşmelerini önlemek adına alınabilecek önlemler hakkında bilşilendirilmiş olmasına raşmen bazı basit uyşulamalar (yardımcı araç kullanımını destekleme) konusunda şerekli özeni şöstermedişi belirlenmiştir. Hasta yakınlarının hasta düşmelerini enşellemek adına alınan önlemler hakkında yeterli bilşi sahibi olmadıkları ve çabalarının orta düzeyde olduşu saptandı. Hemşirelerin hasta eşitiminde şörev ve sorumlulukları hizmet içi eşitimlerle vurşulanması önerilmektedir.This study was carried out to determine the impact of the patients' relatives in preventing the patients falls. This descriptive study was conducted in the General Surgery ward of Trakya University Research and Practice Center with the participation of 59 volunteered relatives of patients between April-May 2015. The questionnaire was prepared by the researchers according to literature and applied. The data were analyzed using frequency and percent with SPSS 20.0 software package. It was determined that despite the 47.5% of patients’ relatives have been informed about the precautions taken to prevent patient falls, didn’t pay attention to some simple applications (support the use of aids-walker etc.). As a conclusion it was determined that participants didn’t have adequate information about taken to precautions in order to prevent patient falls and have moderate level of effort about this subject. We recommend health professionals to show more attention to the education of patient’s relatives about preventing patient falls.     The aim of this study is to investigate customer satisfaction conditions of the individuals using gyms.While population of the study consists of the participants going to gyms in Bitlis, Diyarbakır and Siirt, thesample group of the study consists of 360 individuals in total who are volunteer and selected randomly amongthose participants from Bitlis (110), Diyarbakır (150) and Siirt (100). The participants have been given to“demographic information form” created by researchers and “sports managements’ customer satisfactionscale” having seven likert types and formed by 5 sub dimensions involving development sub dimensiondeveloped by Sevilmiş (2015), sports trainers sub dimension, the quality of work environment sub dimensionand satisfaction sub dimension. Customer satisfaction conditions and demographic information have beencompared. Number, percentage, average, standard deviations have been conducted as descriptive statisticalmethods in the evaluation of the data. According to the conducted normality test, in the analysis of data whichdo not show normal deviation U-test has been used to investigate whether the difference between two groupsis significant or not, and Kruskal Wallis test has been used to investigate whether the difference between theaverages of variables more than two is significant or not. In the analysis of the data, SPSS 20.0 package programhas been used and error margin has been accepted as 0.05. According to the test results, while it has not beenseen that there is a significant difference between the sub dimensions of educational background, income state, working condition and gender of the participants with the customer satisfaction condition sub dimensions, ithas been reported that there is a significant difference between the quality of work environment sub dimensionand (P>0,05) province and age variables, also the attendance condition and the quality of sports trainers andsatisfaction sub dimension (P0,05) il ve yaş değişkenlerinin çalışma ortamının niteliği alt boyutunda, devam durumu değişkeninin ise spor eğitmenleri niteliği ve memnuniyet alt boyutu arasında anlamlı bir fark saptanmıştır (P<0,05)
