Rewinding the dynamics between two japanese ancient descents : what would happen from the jomon to the Yayoi periods in Japan

In this study, through a simple agent-based simulation (ABS) model, we examine the problems experienced by Chinese-Korean immigrants in the formation of the agricultural culture of the Yayoi period (300 BC-250 AD). We focus on two problems: 1) The sex ratio of the immigrants, and 2) who played the major role in agricultural culture in the Yayoi period. The simulation model demonstrates that when most initial immigrants were males and many native Jomon people introduced an agricultural culture in the early stage, it is more probable that the majority of people 300 years later were those with the same traits as the immigrants. These results suggest that the initial immigrants-primarily males-and those who played the major role in the agricultural culture in the early Yayoi period included many native Jomon people. Such results will influence the literature on archaeology

Conjunto de ejercicios para la práctica de la Gimnasia Musical Aerobia en niños de 10 años de edad

La investigación realizada tiene como contexto social el Municipio Guane. Contamos con la participación de 15 niños de 10 – 11 años de edad de la comunidad Comandante Murrieta, 14 profesores de Cultura Física, 15 familias de los practicantes y 5 especialistas del municipio, nos proponemos elaborar un conjunto de ejercicios para satisfacer las necesidades, gustos y preferencias de los niños por la práctica de la gimnasia musical aerobia de forma no competitiva y en el horario extraescolar, esta basada en parte por la estructura de las clases de la gimnasia de salón y pasos de la enseñanza del Aeróbic Deportivo, este trabajo tendrá como impacto social lograr organizar e integrar a la comunidad, propiciando su participación en las diferentes actividades planificada

Genetic Algorithm-Based Optimization to Match Asteroid Energy Deposition Curves

An asteroid entering Earth's atmosphere deposits energy along its path due to thermal ablation and dissipative forces that can be measured by ground-based and spaceborne instruments. Inference of pre-entry asteroid properties and characterization of the atmospheric breakup is facilitated by using an analytic fragment-cloud model (FCM) in conjunction with a Genetic Algorithm (GA). This optimization technique is used to inversely solve for the asteroid's entry properties, such as diameter, density, strength, velocity, entry angle, and strength scaling, from simulations using FCM. The previous parameters' fitness evaluation involves minimizing error to ascertain the best match between the physics-based calculated energy deposition and the observed meteors. This steady-state GA provided sets of solutions agreeing with literature, such as the meteor from Chelyabinsk, Russia in 2013 and Tagish Lake, Canada in 2000, which were used as case studies in order to validate the optimization routine. The assisted exploration and exploitation of this multi-dimensional search space enables inference and uncertainty analysis that can inform studies of near-Earth asteroids and consequently improve risk assessment

SISTEM INFORMASI PRESENSI PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN DI PT.SOLUSI CAKRAWALA MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK LARAVEL

Pada masa yang serba modern ini segala hal mulai beralih mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang lebih modern, pada segala bidang dan pekerjaan tergantung dengan kebutuhan. Hal yang sama juga berlaku dalam mencatat presensi untuk mahasiswa yang sedang melakukan masa PKL. Yang mana sebelumnya pengisian presensi dilakukan secara manual. Untuk menjawab masalah tersebut maka dibuatlah penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem yang mampu mencatat presensi dan aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Sistem ini telah diuji menggunakan metode blackbox testing yang mana fokus utama pengujian ini adalah menilai tampilan luar fungsionalitasnya saja tanpa mengetahui proses detail di dalamnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa sistem informasi presensi yang mencatat presensi per hari dan menyimpan data nilai mahasiswa yang nantinya menghasilkan output berupa laporan data mahasiswa, presensi dan nilai. Simulation-Based Height of Burst Map for Asteroid Airburst Damage Prediction

Entry and breakup models predict that airburst in the Earth's atmosphere is likely for asteroids up to approximately 200 meters in diameter. Objects of this size can deposit over 250 megatons of energy into the atmosphere. Fast-running ground damage prediction codes for such events rely heavily upon methods developed from nuclear weapons research to estimate the damage potential for an airburst at altitude. (Collins, 2005; Mathias, 2017; Hills and Goda, 1993). In particular, these tools rely upon the powerful yield scaling laws developed for point-source blasts that are used in conjunction with a Height of Burst (HOB) map to predict ground damage for an airburst of a specific energy at a given altitude. While this approach works extremely well for yields as large as tens of megatons, it becomes less accurate as yields increase to the hundreds of megatons potentially released by larger airburst events. This study revisits the assumptions underlying this approach and shows how atmospheric buoyancy becomes important as yield increases beyond a few megatons. We then use large-scale three-dimensional simulations to construct numerically generated height of burst maps that are appropriate at the higher energy levels associated with the entry of asteroids with diameters of hundreds of meters. These numerically generated HOB maps can then be incorporated into engineering methods for damage prediction, significantly improving their accuracy for asteroids with diameters greater than 80-100 m

Asteroid Impact Risk: Ground Hazard versus Impactor Size

We utilized a probabilistic asteroid impact risk (PAIR) model to stochastically assess the impact risk due to an ensemble population of Near-Earth Objects (NEOs). Concretely, we present the variation of risk with impactor size. Results suggest that large impactors dominate the average risk, even when only considering the subset of undiscovered NEOs
