    The purposes of this study are to test the influence of Local Government Original Receipt (LGOR) and Balancing Funds (BF) to the Regional Expenditure (RE) and to analyze the districts flypaper effect in CentralJava Province on the period of 2006 to 2008. The object of this research are the 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province which have published their reports of income and expenditure budget area (budget). Data andmodel have fullfiled the Econometrics tests. The LGOR, the GAF and the RS have positive significant effect on RE, while the SAF has not significant effect on RE.The results of t test comparisons, sig, R and R Square forthe GAF to the RE is greater than the revenue of RE, so that RE has flypaper effect

    Miskonsepsi IPA merupakan kondisi ketidaksesuaian antara pemahaman konsep IPA dari seorang pembelajar dengan konsep ilmiah dari para ilmuwan. Miskonsepsi IPA yang terjadi pada siswa SD merupakan tanggungjawab besar bagi para guru untuk bisa mengatasi dan mereduksinya. Dengan demikian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mereduksi miskonsepsi IPA bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Sasaran mitra adalah guru sekolah dasar dari sekolah negeri dan swasta yang ada di wilayah Surakarta. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode workshop, ceramah, tanya jawab, praktikum, dan diskusi klinis. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang makna/ arti miskonsepsi, cara mereduksi, cara mendeteksi dan identifikasi miskonsepsi, jenis instrumen untuk mendeteksi miskonsepsi dari 16% meningkat menjadi 94%. Hasil yang kedua menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan kondisi miskonsepsi IPA yang semula 90% guru menjadi 30% guru yang mengalami miskonsepsi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi pada siswanya. Namun, dalam menerapkan pemahamam yang telah diperoleh, perlu pendampingan bagi guru secara berkesinambungan terutama dalam menyusun instrumen dan melakukan deteksi miskonsepsi pada siswany

    Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri) is a tuber plant that contains the compound of glucomannan which has high economic value with a number of benefits, including as an industrial raw material. The glucomannan content of porang tubers has received special attention in research, including field research to determine soil properties that influence growth and content of gucomannan in porang tubers. A field survey has been carried out to determine the physical properties of soils that influence the glucomannan content of porang tubers grown in four clusters of agroforestry in the dry land of North Lombok, Eastern Indonesia. The results of the research showed that the physical properties of the soil that had a significant effect on the glucomannan content of porang tubers were soil bulk density (BD) with an R2 value of 53.15%, soil porosity with an R2 value of 60.23%, and silt particle fraction with an R2 value of 23. 47%. Thus, managing soil physical properties to facilitate the better quality of porang tubers is necessary

    Nutrient Status and Mycorrhizal Population on Various Food Crops Grown Following Corn Inoculated with Indigenous Mycorrhiza on Sandy Soil of North Lombok, Indonesia

    This study was aimed to determine the nutrient status and population of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on the second cropping cycle of corn-based cropping patterns which utilized indigenous mycorrhizal fungi on sandy soil. The experiment was conducted at the Akar-Akar village in Bayan district of North Lombok, in a Randomized Block Design, with 4 replications and 6 treatments of cropping cycles (P0 = corn-soybean as a control, in which the corn plants were not inoculated with AMF; P1 = corn-soybean, P2 = corn-peanut, P3 = corn-upland rice, P4 = corn-sorghum, and P5 = corn-corn, in which the first cycle corn plants were inoculated with AMF). Results indicated that the status of N, P, K and organic-C increased significantly up to 112%, 148%, 88%, 88% at 60 DAS and 66%, 135%, 54%, 60% at 100 DAS, respectively in the second cropping cycle of sorghum compared to control. Uptake of N, P, K and Ca the sorghum plants at 60 DAS of the second cropping cycle reached 200%; 550%; 120% and 490%,  respectively a higher than in the control. Mycorrhizal populations (spore number and infection percentage) were highest in the second cycle sorghum, achieving 335% and 226% respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control

    This research aims to determine changes in land cover on Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan, and Gili Air as small islands in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in comparing land cover changes on each island and also spatial analysis using Google Earth satellite image data in 2013 and 2022. The research results show seven land cover classifications consisting of built-up land, open land, stretches of beach sand, water bodies, plantations, bushes, and mangroves. Based on the analysis of land cover changes in Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, a trend of increasing built-up land area for ten years from 2013 to 2022. The most significant increase in built-up land occurred on Gili Trawangan, namely 48.14 Ha. It was followed by Gili Air and Gili Meno, respectively 24.86 ha and 23.71 ha. The driving factor for changes in land cover on Gili Matra is policies from the central, provincial, and regional governments regarding the promotion and establishment of Gili Matra as a tourism destination in NTB Province. Furthermore, this policy impacts the growth of tourists and the number of residents. It causes an increase in the need for tourism-supporting facilities. Therefore, there is a change in land cover, which gradually reduces the area of undeveloped land on Gili Matra

    Analisis Kesesuaian Lahan Kering Kabupaten Bima Untuk Produksi Kedelai

    Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), adalah salah satu dari 3 provinsi di Indonesia sebagai penghasil komoditas kedelai. Komoditas ini di Provinsi NTB dikembangkan sebagai menunjang komoditas kedelai nasional, yang selama ini masih dilakukan impor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Bima, sebagai salah satu wilayah kabupaten di Provinsi NTB yang berpotensi dalam pengembangan komoditas kedelai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kelas kesesuaian lahan dalam pengembangan tanaman pangan, terutama tanaman kedelai (glycine max L merril) di Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini berguna sebagai bahan informasi dan rekomendasi terkait kesesuaian lahan serta dapat dijadikan dasar pengembangan budidaya tanaman kedelai pada lahan kering. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu  metode survei dan metode pengumpulan data sekunder berupa peta dan data spasial dari instansi yang terkait. Pengelompokan kelas kesesuaian lahan pada setiap unit lahan menggunakan sistim overlay atau tumpang tepat dengan berpedoman pada kriteria kesesuaian lahan tanaman kedelai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas kesesuaian lahan kering actual, pada kelas cukup sesuai (S2) adalah seluas 3.244,20 ha dengan prosentase sebesar 20,12%; kelas kesesuaian lahan kering sesuai marginal (S3) seluas 28.108,12 ha dengan prosentase 78,43%; dan kelas kesesuaian lahan tidak sesuai (N) sebesar 744 ha dengan prosentase paling kecil yaitu 1,45%. Dengan demikian, potensi lahan kering untuk pengembangan tanaman kedelai (glycine max L merril) di Kabupaten Bima sangat besar yaitu 31.352,32 ha.Abstract:  West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, is one of 3 provinces in Indonesia as a producer of soybean commodity. This commodity in NTB Province was developed to support the national soybean commodity, which has been still imported. This research was conducted in Bima Regency as one of the districts in NTB Province which has the potential for developing soybean commodities. This study aims to map land suitability classes for the development of food crops, especially soybean (glycine max (L.) Merrill) in Bima Regency. This research is useful as information and recommendations related to land suitability and can be used as a basis for developing soybean cultivation on dry land. The research method used is the survey method and secondary data collection methods such as maps and spatial data from related agencies. Classification of land suitability classes for each land unit uses an overlay or overlapping system based on criteria of the land suitability for soybean crops. The results showed that suitability class of dry land quite suitable (S2) is 3,244.20 ha with a percentage of 20.12%; suitability class of dry land marginally suitable (S3) covering an area of 28,108.12 ha with a percentage of 78.43%; and unsuitable land suitability class (N) is 744 ha with the smallest percentage of 1.45%. Therefore, the potential of dry land for the development of soybean crop  (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) in Bima is very large, that is 31,352.32 ha or 98.55% of the total dry land in Bima Regency

    Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mentransfer teknologi budidaya cabai yang ramah lingkungan pada saat off seasonkepada petani di lahan kering. Paket teknologi yang ditransfer adalah paket rekomendasi BALITSA, meliputi penggunaan varietas unggul, teknik budidaya cabai hemat air dengan irigasi tetes dan teknik penyemaian. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di lahan kering beririgasi tetes di Sambik Rindang, Desa Salut, Kecamatan Bayan, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Provinsi NTB. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif kepada petani sasaran.Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian sebagai berikut : (1) membangun kesepakatan bersama antara petani dan tim pengabdiandalam pelaksanaan keiatan, (2) penyuluhan teori budidaya cabai yang ramah lingkungan, (3) pembuatan Demplot cabai; dan (4) evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan sebagai berikut (1) meningkatnya  pemahaman  teori petani terkait dengan budidaya cabai yang ramah lingkungan padasaat off season;(2) petani siap mengadopsi dan menerapkan teknologi budidaya cabai off season yang rekomendasi oleh BALITSA (Balai Penelitian Sayuran) di lahan kering yang berfasilitas perpipaan irigasi tetes. Bentuk pendampinganyang masih diperlukan oleh petani seperti :pendampingan pemupukan cabai spesifik lokasi, strategi pencegahan OPT , pemiliharaan jaringan irigasi tetes, penguatan kelembagaan dan permodalan serta pendampingan pengembangan jaringan pemasaran produk pertanian.Abstract: This service activity aims to transfer chili cultivation technology that is environmentally friendly in the off season to farmers on dry land.The technology package transferred is the BALITSA recommendation package, which includes the use of superior varieties, water-efficient chili cultivation techniques with drip irrigation and seeding techniques.  These activities carried out on dry land with drip irrigation in Sambik Rindang, Salut Village, Bayan District, North Lombok Regency, NTB Province.Activities carried out with a participatory approach to target farmers.Stages of service activities as follows: (1) establishing a joint agreement between farmers and service team in the implementation of activities, (2) extension chili cultivation theory in the off season, (3) making chili demontration plots and (4) evaluation of the activities. The results of the activities were as follows (1) increased understanding of farmers regarding the theory of environmentally friendly chili cultivation in the off season; (2) farmers are ready to adopt and apply the chili cultivation technology recommended by BALITSA (Balai penelitian sayuran) on dry land with drip irrigation piping facilities.  Furthermore, the form of assistance needed by farmer, such as: assistance for site specific chili fertilization, pest prevention strategies, drip irrigation network, institutional strengthening and capital and assistance in developing agricultural product marketing networks

    Implementasi Kegiatan Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an Melalui Media Iqro’ dalam Pembelajaran Al-Islam di Sekolah Dasar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kegiatan Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTA) melalui media Iqro’ dalam pembelajaran Al-Islam di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan BTA merupakan kegiatan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan BTA pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru kelas 1, dan siswa kelas 1 SD Muhammadiyah PK Baturan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Selanjutnya data akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan tiga alur analisis data, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media Iqro’ yang diajarkan pada siswa disesuaikan dengan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Iqro’ berdasarkan jilid 1 sampai dengan 6. Kegiatan BTA dilaksanakan pada hari senin sampai hari jumat setelah siswa melaksanakan sholat dhuha. Berdasarkan kelompok yang telah dibagi, siswa membaca buku Iqro’ yang akan disimak oleh guru. Sedangkan kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran Al-Islam. Dengan demikian siswa lebih mudah mengenal dan memahami huruf-huruf hijaiyah sesuai dengan tingkat kesulitannya.Â
