    Get PDF
This article explores what are the success factor for interaction with platforms of crowdfunding in Italy. Through a Principal Component Analysis we outline three variables and through a multiple regression analysis we demonstrate that the interaction on crowdfunding is positive correlated with socio-economic propensity and cultural level. The analysis has been conducted on a sample of 316 of projects funded in the Crowdfunding platform Produzioni dal Basso, the first platform born in Italy. We draw on SD logic and relationship marketing to underscore the importance of networks of actors and integration to create a co-creation of value. This view emphasizes the social and economic factors that influence, and are influenced by, crowdfundin

Se hizo una revisión sobre la nueva normatividad al respecto y sobre las falencias y fortalezas del PGIRS de mosquera, dando como resultado una serie de dificultades locales y regionales, que pueden ser subsanadas si se adoptan algunas experiencias distritales y los nuevos requerimientos normativos, teniendo en cuenta su adopción y factibilidad por factores económicos, técnicos y logísticos del municipiothe progress in human activities have recently generated a serious issue is evidenced by the damage in different resources and environmental elements, affecting areas that support both large and small human concentrations, so plans have been developed to mitigate the environmental impact of solid waste resulting from these activities, each municipality nationwide have to implement a integrated solid waste management plan (ISWM) which provides guidance, instructions, methodologies and local policies for the appropriated management of waste. The accelerated development of the municipality of mosquera has done its ISWM obsolete; whereby it is necessary to generate a new plan allow generating new proposals for updating through the evaluation of the diagnostic base of municipal characteristics around the cleanliness service. Was made a review about new regulations regards and about the weaknesses and strengths of ISWM mosquera, resulting in a local and regional set of difficulties, which can be remediated if some district experiences are adopting together to new regulatory requirements, taking into account their adoption and feasibility by economic, technical and logistical factors of the municipalit

Turismo sustentable. Un acercamiento a su oferta

    Get PDF

Sit With Us: Benefits of Inclusion

    Get PDF
The focus of this Capstone project is on understanding the benefits of an inclusive classroom setting. This is important because, there is a stigma that special education students hinder the learning of general education students, but the data provided in this paper will show otherwise. The primary stakeholders perspectives that were surveyed were three special education educators familiarized with an inclusive setting, one being a teacher and the other two teacher aides. Three ways to improve inclusion include co-teaching, increased training, and using technology to assist students. Based on the findings collected from the interviews and research formulated in this paper, an action to reach out to parents/guardians was undertaken to increase the knowledge of inclusion

DBI Galileon inflation in the light of Planck 2015

In this work we consider a DBI Galileon (DBIG) inflationary model and constrain its parameter space with the Planck 2015 and BICEP2/Keck array and Planck (BKP) joint analysis data by means of a potential independent analysis. We focus our attention on inflationary solutions characterized by a constant or varying sound speed as well as warp factor. We impose bounds on stringy aspects of the model, such as the warp factor (f)\left(f\right) and the induced gravity parameter (m~)\left(\tilde{m}\right). We study the parameter space of the model and find that the tensor-to-scalar ratio can be as low as r6×104r\simeq6\times10^{-4} and inflation happens to be at GUT scale. In addition, we obtain the tilt of the tensor power spectrum and test the standard inflationary consistency relation (r=8nt)\left(r=-8n_{t}\right) against the latest bounds from the combined results of BKP+Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Waves Observatory (LIGO), and find that DBIG inflation predicts a red spectral index for the tensor power spectrum.Comment: Version accepted in JCAP. 25 pages, 10 figures, new refs adde

Perceptions of Halal Tourism in Indonesia: Mental Constructs and Level of Support

    Get PDF
Tourism is one of the leading sectors for the Indonesian government to increase foreign exchange. Indonesia has many tourist destinations that attract domestic and foreign tourists. In line with the development of Halal tourism trends, the Indonesian government has begun to develop several enclaves such as Lombok and Aceh as Halal destinations. Indonesia has the largest Muslim population of all countries in the world, and it is estimated that around 13 percent of the global Muslims live in the country. As a Muslim-majority country, it should be easier to implement Halal tourism than in other non-Muslim countries, but this is still a relatively new concept for Indonesians. In this vein, the main purpose of this research is to examine and contribute to understanding the Indonesian population\u27s perception of Halal tourism. A structured questionnaire was employed to elicit responses from local people linked to tourism (namely tourism professionals, academics and students), concluding that extra training efforts are needed. The collective mental constructs about Halal tourism has been characterised (built around four axes: benefits, barriers, religiosity and attractiveness) and the main factors to be emphasised in order to gain people’ support have been identified (benefits and attractiveness, together with awareness about the spiritual dimensions of Halal tourism). Currently, support is clear, but moderate for the development of this type of tourism in Indonesia. With regard to appreciation of its spiritual dimension (that is, its focus on people’s inner wellbeing) compared with other dimensions (healthy and ecological), the spiritual imprint can be considered as the most necessary condition in gaining support for the positioning of Indonesia as a Halal tourism destination, while the others appear as optional. In addition to the above-mentioned conclusions, some recommendations have arisen, for instance, those related to the need for extra effort for the socialisation and promotion of Halalness in tourism. Finally, limitations of this research are recognised and some future research avenues are proposed

THERMOGRAVIMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THERMAL AND KINETIC BEHAVIOR OF ACACIA MANGIUM WOOD

    Get PDF
Thermogravimetric analysis was used to study the thermal behavior of Acacia mangium wood under inert atmosphere at heating rates ranging from 5 to 15C min -1, from room temperature to 800C. Weight losses of A. mangium wood in inert atmosphere were found to occur in three stages. These three states are generally associated with the decomposition of the three main components of the lignocellulosic materials. Most decomposition occurred in the range of 300-400C (80% weight approximately). The kinetic parameters of the process were evaluated using the independent parallel reaction model, attributed to the three main components of lignocellulosic materials: hemicelluloses, cellulose, and lignin. The values of activation energy, preexponential factor, and contribution factor were similar to those reported in other studies for this type of biomass. The model proposed predicted an acceptable correlation between the experimental and the calculated curve to the decomposition of A. mangium, with an error of less than 3% of deviation in the temperature range studied

AVOCADO: A Virtual Observatory Census to Address Dwarfs Origins

Dwarf galaxies are by far the most abundant of all galaxy types, yet their properties are still poorly understood -especially due to the observational challenge that their intrinsic faintness represents. AVOCADO aims at establishing firm conclusions on their formation and evolution by constructing a homogeneous, multiwavelength dataset for a statistically significant sample of several thousand nearby dwarfs (-18 < Mi < -14). Using public data and Virtual Observatory tools, we have built GALEX+SDSS+2MASS spectral energy distributions that are fitted by a library of single stellar population models. Star formation rates, stellar masses, ages and metallicities are further complemented with structural parameters that can be used to classify them morphologically. This unique dataset, coupled with a detailed characterization of each dwar's environment, allows for a fully comprehensive investigation of their origins and to track the (potential) evolutionary paths between the different dwarf types.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure.
