    Artikel ini menggambarkan hasil penelitian mengenai implementasi konsep belajar aktif di dua sekolah menengah di Indiana, Amerika Serikat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prosedur dan proses pembelajaran menggunakan konsep belajar secara aktif di sekolah-sekolah menengah di Indiana dan mengkaji kemungkinan penerapannya di sekolah menengah di Indonesia. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa konsep belajar aktif di sekolah menengah Indiana diterapkan dengan menggunakan berbagai pendekatan dan strategi belajar mengajar yang juga mungkin dan bisa dilaksanakan di sekolah menengah Indonesia, misalnya mengaktifkan siswa dengan mengunakan pertanyaan guru

    Various efforts to fight corruption in Indonesia, including the formation of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in 2002 who has reveal many corruption cases, has not help in improving Indonesia's ranking in Transparency International; number 100 from 183 countries in the world in 2011. Another way to fight corruption is by implementing the anti-corruption education formally in schools, which has several advantages such as the low budget needed and the continuity and systematization of the program. The anti-corruption education is in fact part of the curriculum of Civic Education study (PKn). However, the implementation has not met the expected outcome, particularly in developing students' anti-corruption attitudes and characters. The lessons are limited to the delivery of verbal information, without giving the students chance to develop knowledge and logical reasoning on the immoral dimension of corruption. This article explains that formal anti-corruption education is an important education policy that can no longer be postponed. It is an investment to prevent corruption in the long term. The essential characteristic of anti-corruption education is the synergy between the utilization of information and knowledge with the ability to make moral consideration, in order to develop students' cognition, affection, and conation fully and continuously

    The Collaboration Of Pancasila And Civic Education Teacher In Subject Teacher Consultation Forum (MGMP) At Junior High School

    The subject teacher meeting is a forum formed by the government to facilitate collaboration and collaboration of subject teachers in solving various learning problems and being a forum for developing teacher professionalism. This article aims to analyze and describe the collaboration of PPKn teachers in State Junior High School Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra Province, and the problems that occur in it. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Respondents were selected from elements of PPKn teachers who were members of the MGMP State Junior High School Sawahlunto City, MGMP administrators, school principals, and the Education Office of Sawahlunto City. Data analysis followed the stages of qualitative data analysis Miles Huberman; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show: (1) the problem of weak teacher collaboration in MGMP is related to the impact of the non-formal relationship between teachers, which is too dominant but also to the discipline and teachers  motivation. (2) The expected impact of the implementation of MGMP PPKn State Junior High School is an increase in teacher competence in implementing learning which in the end also improves student learning outcomes. However, this target has not been fully achieved because the behavior and average learning outcomes of students are still low. (3) There is no specific strategy to increase collaboration between teachers carried out by the management in the MGMP PPKn forum for State Junior High School Sawahlunto City.Musyawarah guru mata pelajaran merupakan wadah yang dibentuk pemerintah untuk memfasilitasi kerjasama dan kolaborasi guru mata pelajaran dalam memecahkan berbagai persoalan pembelajaran sekaligus menjadi wadah pengembangan professionalisme guru. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kolaborasi guru PPKn SMP Kota Sawahlunto Provinsi Sumatera Barat serta problematika yang terjadi di dalamnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Responden dipilih dari unsur guru PPKn yang menjadi anggota MGMP SMP Negeri Kota Sawahlunto, pengurus MGMP, kepala sekolah, dan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Sawahlunto. Analisis data mengikuti tahapan analisis data kualitatif Miles Huberman; reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Masalah lemahnya kolaborasi guru dalam MGMP tidak hanya berkaitan dengan dampak hubungan nonformal antar guru yang terlalu dominan tetapi juga karena faktor disiplin dan motivasi guru. (2) Dampak yang diharapkan dari pelaksanaan MGMP PPKn SMP Kota Sawahlunto adalah meningkatnya kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran yang pada sasaran akhirnya juga meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Namun target ini belum sepenuhnya tercapai karena perilaku dan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik masih rendah. (3) Tidak ada strategi khusus yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antar guru yang dilakukan pengurus dalam forum MGMP PPKn SMP Kota Sawahlunto

    The Implementation of HOTS-Based PPKn Learning at SMAN 1 Solok Selatan

    Abstract. This article aims to analyze the implementation of HOTS-based PPKn learning at SMAN 1 Solok Selatan and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for HOTS-based PPKn learning at SMAN 1 Solok Selatan and describe the HOTS-based PPKn learning design at SMAN 1 Solok Selatan. The study of the problem and the focus of this research is about Learning Guidance by Pancasila and Citizenship Education Teachers at SMAN 1 Solok Selatan. To Improve Students' High Level Thinking Ability, the research was conducted through a qualitative approach, to obtain in-depth and holistic research results. Qualitative research in this case intends to explore the meaning of the behavior behind human action, in qualitative research the researcher is the main instrument of data collection. The qualitative method is used because it reveals how the teacher's coaching in HOTS-based PPKn learning. The findings in the study revealed that HOTS-based PPKn learning had been implemented which had previously been designed in the learning implementation plan. The HOTS learning implementation learning design had been systematically compiled in the Learning Implementation Plan. HOTS-based PPKn learning is strongly supported by school policies in giving freedom to teachers in determining learning strategies / methods that are in accordance with the learning facilities used in competency attainment as measured through HOTS-based learning evaluations.Keywords: Development, Learning, Pancasila and Citizenship Education, HOTSAbstrak.  Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan Pembelajaran PPKn Berbasis HOTS di SMAN 1 Solok Selatan dan mengidentifikasi Faktor pendukung dan penghambat Pembelajaran PPKn Berbasis HOTS di SMAN 1 Solok Selatan serta mendeskripsikan desain pembelajaran PPKn berbasis HOTS di SMAN 1 Solok Selatan. Kajian masalah dan fokus penelitian ini tentang Pembinaan Pembelajaran Oleh Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMAN 1 Solok Selatan Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berfikir Tingkat Tinggi Siswa maka penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif, untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian secara mendalam dan holistik. Penelitian kualitatif dalam hal ini bermaksud menggali makna perilaku yang berada dibalik tindakan manusia, dalam penelitian kualitatif peneliti sebagai instrument utama pengumpulan data. Metode kualitatif digunakan karena mengungkapkan bagaimana pembinaan yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran PPKn berbasis HOTS. Temuan dalam penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn berbasis HOTS telah diterapkan yang sebelumnya telah di rancang dalam rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, Desain pembelajaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran HOTS telah disusun secara sistematis dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Pembelajaran PPKn berbasis HOTS sangat didukung oleh kebijakan sekolah dalam memberikan kebebasan terhadap guru dalam menentukan strategi/metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan fasilitas belajar yang digunakan dalam ketercapaian kompetensi yang diukur melalui evaluasi belajar yang berbasis HOTS.Kata Kunci: Pembinaan, Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, HOT

              Indonesian society is a pluralistic society, it is characterized by differences in religion, ethnicity, customs, and culture. The diversity of this nation certainly has a value system that is adopted and implemented by the community. Conflicts that occur in a group of people because of the disharmony between communities. Therefore we need social integration that together performs roles following their respective functions. This article aims to analyze the patterns of social integration of multi-ethnic and religious communities in Rama Agung Village, Argamakmur City District, North Bengkulu. This research is qualitative research with case study type, taking the subject using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis techniques used using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings of this study indicate that the pattern of social integration of multi-ethnic and religious communities in the village of Rama Agung has its uniqueness. Communities unite and form a pattern of reciprocal relations between ethnic and religion based on the values ​​applied in the life of Unity in Diversity. The community upholds a noble culture that continues to be applied and maintained. The values ​​that are built and synergize in society are harmony, unity, justice, kinship, solidarity

    Student Character Building through Mentoring Activities at SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan

     Abstract. This article aims to describe the implementation of the character building program through mentoring activities at SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. This article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the research subjects consisting of the vice principal of student affairs, mentoring coaches, mentoring administrators, mentors, and mentoring participants. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The mentoring program at SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan is carried out with two activities, namely the main activity which is routine every Saturday, and complementary activities for mentoring participants, mentors, and the mentoring management team; 2) There are seven basic character forms produced after participating in mentoring activities at SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. First, increasing the correct understanding of Islam according to the Al Quran and Sunnah. Second, the close brotherhood between mentoring students. Third, the students' ability to advise each other. Fourth, increasing student achievement in the religious, academic and non-academic fields. Fifth, the implementation of congregational worship at the mosque. Sixth, the improvement of students' abilities in reading the Al Quran. Seventh, the realization of good interactions between students and teachers, students and staff, and students and students.Keywords: Character Development; Mentoring Activities; Descriptive ResearchAbstrak.  Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program pembinaan karakter melalui kegiatan mentoring di SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari wakil kepala sekolah bagian kesiswaan, pembina mentoring, pengurus mentoring, mentor, dan peserta mentoring. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan program mentoring di SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan dilaksanakan dengan dua kegiatan yakni kegiatan utama yang secara rutin setiap hari Sabtu, dan kegiatan pelengkap untuk peserta mentoring, mentor, dan tim pengelola mentoring; 2) Terdapat tujuh bentuk karakter dasar yang dihasilkan setelah mengikuti kegiatan mentoring di SMP Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. Pertama, bertambahnya pemahaman Islam yang benar sesuai dengan Al Quran dan Sunnah. Kedua, eratnya persaudaraan antar siswa mentoring. Ketiga, kemampuan siswa dalam saling menasehati. Keempat, meningkatnya prestasi siswa baik bidang keagamaan, akademik, maupun non akademik. Kelima, pelaksanaan ibadah secara berjamaah di masjid. Keenam, peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Al Quran. Ketujuh, terwujudnya interaksi yang baik antara siswa dengan guru, siswa dengan staf, dan siswa dengan siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembinaan Karakter, Siswa, Mentorin

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap motivasi belajar siswa serta pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kueantitatif asosiatif, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada siswa di MAS KMI Diniyyah Puteri, selanjtunya data diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 25. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran daring memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, artinya semakin baik pembelajaran daring yang diberikan oleh guru, maka semakin baik pula motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa
