Některé aspekty výpočtů vzdáleností na elipsoidu v aplikacích GIS

The article is the introductory study for one of the fundamental geo-informatics operations - the reciprocal position calculation of Earth localities. It is known that, in general, this calculation leads up to an elliptic integral calculation. In a computer environment, the algorithms are determined by data storage precision. Furthermore, repeated calculation with numerous data results in deceleration of all the applications. In special cases, the accurate application of ellipsoidal trigonometry can be replaced by a procedure that is more elementary. This study discusses some of these procedures and demonstrates their application in a given task.Článek je přípravnou studií pro jednu ze základních operací v geoinformatice - zjišťování vzájemné polohy míst na zemském povrchu. Jak známo, obecně vedou výpočty k výpočtu eliptických integrálů. Algoritmy realizované v počítačovém prostředí jsou však determinovány přesností uložení dat, opakované výpočty na značném množství dat navíc neúměrně zpomalují aplikaci. V některých specielních případech však lze nahradit doslovnou aplikaci elipsoidální trigonometrie jednoduššími postupy. Článek některé z nich diskutuje a odůvodňuje jejich použití v konkrétní úloze

Data standard of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic

Úkolem bakalářské práce bylo prostudovat datový standard Ministerstva zdravotnictví České republiky a možnosti přístupu do NIS Clinicom. Je zde popsána chronologie změn v blokové struktuře a popisu dat. Byl navržen a realizován webový přístup do NIS Clinicomu pomocí CSP, ve kterém lze generovat datové zprávy o pacientech se zvolenou infekční diagnózou odpovídající povinnému hlášení do Národního zdravotnického informačního systému.This work attempts at exploring the data standard of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the possibility of access to NIS Clinicom. The chronology of changes in the block structure and data description has been described. The web acces to NIS Clinicom has been designed and put into effect by means of CSP which can be used to generate data messages concerning patients with a selected infectious diagnosis corresponding with the compulsory report to the National Medical Information System.

Biometric Performance Testing of Signature Technology

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti biometrie dynamiky podpisu. První část je věnována obecnému vysvětlení základních pojmů a standartů pro měření efektivnosti. Vysvětluje problematiku zpracování charakteristik podpisu. Popisuje zařízení vhodné pro snímaní dynamických složek podpisu. Hlavní část se zabývá návrhem testů schopnosti verifikace a identifikace uživatelů a testy možností oklamání zařízení. Uvádí návrh a implementací programu pro identifikaci. Zaznamenává průběh a výsledky všech provedených testů.This bachelor thesis is focused to possibilities of biometrics of dynamics signature. The first part is devoted to general explanations of basic concepts and standards for measuring effectiveness. Explains the problematics of processing characteristics of the signature. Descibes the equipment of the appropriate components for capturing the dynamic signature. The main section deals with testing abillities of verification of user and identification and testing the posibillities of deception devices. Presents design and implementation of program for identification. Records the progress and results of all performed tests.

Moravska Ostrava - design a multifunctional building in proluce Zamecka x Dlouha

Import 29/09/2010Cílem bakalářské práce je vypracovat návrh zástavby v proluce polyfunkčním domem, objekt nároží ulic Zámecká x Dlouhá při dodržení podmínek funkčního využití vycházejícího z platné územně plánovací dokumentace. Práce řeší dvě varianty návrhu polyfunkčního domu, které budou pojaty koncepčně s možným výhledem do budoucnosti, včetně začlenění do okolní zástavby. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je propracovaný návrh polyfunkčního domu, řešící využití budovy včetně vyznačení funkčních ploch. U stavby se počítá s návštěvou imobilních návštěvníků. Návrh obsahuje řešení statické dopravy a orientační výpočet kapacity inženýrských sítí.Purpose of the bachelor work is to work up a project of polyfunctional house in a vacant lot. Project observes the terms of functional meaning outgoing from current territorial planning documentation. Corner house is between Zámecká and Dlouhá street. Work solves two variations of polyfunctional house project which will be conceived conceptual with perspective to the future, including incorporation to the surrounding development area. Result of bachelor work is sophisticated project of polyfunctional house, solving usage of building including marked functional areas. Constructions make allowance for handicapped visitors. Procházím okny prohlížeče jako za starých dobrých časů návštěvník Wunderkabinettu. Zkrátka, materiálu k práci v současném umění přehršle. Kde však začít? Povolat pomyslného Hastingse v umění není lehká věc, tož teď babo raď! Co označit za ústřední motiv? Leckdy bývá současné umění těžko srozumitelné. Může to být tím, že současné umění (stejně jako dříve) vyžaduje, nebo si nárokuje od recipienta aktivní znalost nejen uměleckého kontextu, ale celkově i trendů, chování a jevů napříč všemi žánry činností současného člověka? V době schváleného lenošství je tedy nad slunce jasné, že současné umění může působit nelogicky nebo zmateně. Jak již bylo řečeno, v současné době se umění obecně i spolu s umělci ocitlo v pomyslné spáře, recept na jeho přiblížení tedy může spočívat v naší schopnosti připustit si, že umělec dneška je přímo inspirován vším co se kolem něj děje, tedy ne jinak než jak život prožívají „neumělci“. Naším úkolem je tedy jít s kůží na trh a tam rozbalit to, co si doma nebo v ateliéru urputně pěstujeme a tvoříme.

Piston Rings of Modern Diesel Engines

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na pístní krouţky soudobých vznětových motorů a je rozdělena do několika kapitol. První kapitola řeší funkce pístních krouţků a poţadavky na ně kladené, v další kapitole nalezneme rozdělení dle typu krouţku a konstrukčního řešení. předposlední kapitola rozebírá materiály nejčastěji pouţívané při výrobě pístních krouţků a v poslední kapitole nalezneme nejčastěji pouţívané povrchové úpravy.This bachelor thesis concentrates on piston rings and is divided into several points. First point deals with the functions of piston rings and with the demands for them, in the second point there is a division according to the type of the ring and constructing solution. Another chapter deals with materials that are used the most when fabricating piston rings and the last chapter deals with the surfacing that is used the most.

Integration and visualisation of clinical-omics datasets for medical knowledge discovery

In recent decades, the rise of various omics fields has flooded life sciences with unprecedented amounts of high-throughput data, which have transformed the way biomedical research is conducted. This trend will only intensify in the coming decades, as the cost of data acquisition will continue to decrease. Therefore, there is a pressing need to find novel ways to turn this ocean of raw data into waves of information and finally distil those into drops of translational medical knowledge. This is particularly challenging because of the incredible richness of these datasets, the humbling complexity of biological systems and the growing abundance of clinical metadata, which makes the integration of disparate data sources even more difficult. Data integration has proven to be a promising avenue for knowledge discovery in biomedical research. Multi-omics studies allow us to examine a biological problem through different lenses using more than one analytical platform. These studies not only present tremendous opportunities for the deep and systematic understanding of health and disease, but they also pose new statistical and computational challenges. The work presented in this thesis aims to alleviate this problem with a novel pipeline for omics data integration. Modern omics datasets are extremely feature rich and in multi-omics studies this complexity is compounded by a second or even third dataset. However, many of these features might be completely irrelevant to the studied biological problem or redundant in the context of others. Therefore, in this thesis, clinical metadata driven feature selection is proposed as a viable option for narrowing down the focus of analyses in biomedical research. Our visual cortex has been fine-tuned through millions of years to become an outstanding pattern recognition machine. To leverage this incredible resource of the human brain, we need to develop advanced visualisation software that enables researchers to explore these vast biological datasets through illuminating charts and interactivity. Accordingly, a substantial portion of this PhD was dedicated to implementing truly novel visualisation methods for multi-omics studies.Open Acces
