Aplikasi Penyandian Pesan Teks dengan Menggunakan Metode Block Chiper Mode ECB

    Get PDF
Encoding of text messages is very necessary to encode a message so that it is not stolen by irresponsible parties. Cryptography is one technique that can be used to carry out security messages, namely by encoding original messages that are understood to be incomprehensible data. Cryptographic techniques are used using the Block Cipher mode ECB method that works by using 64-bit keys and an iterative method consisting of linear steps (such as XOR and key applications). ECB block cipher mode application is to use J2ME as a testing tool. The text message will be entered into Netbeans and tested for the results of encryption and decryption. The design of system testing is done in several stages, namely making use case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Sequency diagrams and design interface

This research is a descriptive study which aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of distance learning (PJJ) in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic in biology subject in Class X SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021. The research subjects were students of class X. The research instruments were interviews with the teacher and giving questionnaires to students. The results showed that: Teachers and students of Class X SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021 has implemented Distance Learning (PJJ). Students carry out PJJ every day, an average of 5-6 hours per day. Students take online classes provided by the teacher, namely Google Classroom, interact via video conference (zoom cloud meeting), Instagram, group chat (telegram, whatsapp), as well as through other online learning applications. Students think they can still understand the learning material, it's fun, it's easy to get learning resources, and can still concentrate. However, some students complained that they could not ask directly to the teacher or friends, and were bored.

Links between particle surface hardening and rehydration impairment during micellar casein powder storage

    Get PDF
Storage is an unavoidable critical phase regarding dairy powder reconstitution abilities, particularly for high casein content powders, which generally present a poor rehydration behavior. The ability of micellar casein powders to completely rehydrate can thus be particularly affected by storage time and temperature. To implement best practices for the optimization of storage conditions, understanding changes occurring is a crucial point. For the first time, biophysical techniques were used to investigate powder surface at the nanoscale. Atomic force microscopy revealed that particle surface became rougher during storage, associated with the formation of hollow zones (around 500 nm) holes when stored for 10 months at 40 °C. Mechanical properties of micellar casein particle surface during powder storage was quantified using AFM nanoindentation. Spatially-resolved force/indentation curves evidenced a significant stiffer surface for aged powder (Young modulus of ∼20 GPa) in comparison with the fresh one (∼0.2 GPa). These findings were fully consistent with the formation of a crust at the powder surface observed by high-resolution field-emission scanning electron microscopy during powder rehydration. Finally, alterations of the rehydration process can be related to modifications occurring at the particle surface during storage

    Cluster Dynamics of Planetary Waves

The dynamics of nonlinear atmospheric planetary waves is determined by a small number of independent wave clusters consisting of a few connected resonant triads. We classified the different types of connections between neighboring triads that determine the general dynamics of a cluster. Each connection type corresponds to substantially different scenarios of energy flux among the modes. The general approach can be applied directly to various mesoscopic systems with 3-mode interactions, encountered in hydrodynamics, astronomy, plasma physics, chemistry, medicine, etc.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figs, EPL, publishe

    Wind-forced modulations of gravity waves

    No full text
International audienceThe effect of wind on modulational instability of gravity waves is presented. A forced nonlinear Schödinger equation that governs the evolution in deep water of weakly nonlinear packets of surface gravity waves under wind forcing is derived. Stokes waves are shown to grow exponentially following Miles' linear mechanism, while modulational instability becomes explosive. These analytical results are completed by numerical simulations and experiments showing the amplification of modulations by wind. Therefore, we suggest that wind boosts the formation of rogue waves

Self Directed Learning (SDL) model is very influential on improving the quality of Plant Physiology lectures in Biology Education Study Program STKIP Riama Medan

Tinjauan Perspektif Sosiologi Terhadap Aspek Penting Yang Memiliki Hubungan Terhadap Efetivitas Penegakan Hukum Di Masyarakat

The surface properties of milk fat globules govern their interactions with the caseins: Role of homogenization and pH probed by AFM force spectroscopy

    Get PDF
The surface of milk fat globules consists of a biological membrane rich in polar lipids and glycoproteins. However, high shear stress applied upon homogenization disrupts the membrane and leads to the adsorption of casein micelles, as the major protein fraction of milk. These changes in the interface properties could affect the interactions between native or homogenized milk fat globules and the surrounding protein matrix, at neutral pH and upon acidification. In this study, macroscale rheometry, microscopic observations, nanoscale AFM-based force spectroscopy and physico-chemical analysis were combined to examine the interfacial composition and structure of milk fat globules and to evaluate their interactions with casein micelles. We showed that the surface properties of milk fat globules (biological membrane vs. caseins) and pH govern their interactions with casein micelles. The adhesion between individual fat globules and casein micelles was higher upon homogenization, especially at acid pH where the work of adhesion increased from 3.3 x 10-18 to 14 x 10-18 J for native and homogenized fat globules, respectively. Consequently, casein-coated homogenized fat globules yield stiffer milk acid gels. These findings cast light on the importance of colloidal particle’s surface properties and pH on their connectivity with the surrounding matrix, which modulates the bulk microstructure and rheological properties with potential functional consequences, such as milk lipid digestion
