    Sekolah Fashion menjadi ujung tombak bagi dunia fashion. Lembaga tersebut mencetak talenta baru yang akan menjadi generasi penerus bagi desainer yang ada saat ini. Saat ini sekolah fashion menarik perhatian banyak pihak dan membuka celah lapangan pekerjaan baru. Fashion school sudah mulai dilirik oleh banyak kaum muda. Dengan semakin berkembangnya dunia fashion di Indonesia, eksistensi sekolah fashion juga semakin meningkat. Keberadaan sekolah fashion di Indonesia memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap dunia fashion di negara ini. Dengan adanya sekolah fashion, Indonesia akan memiliki sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang lebih berpengalaman dalam bidang fashion karena memiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang sesuai. Bakat yang dimiliki para SDM yang bekerja di dunia fashion akan semakin mudah dikembangkan sehingga dunia fashion di Indonesia juga akan semakin cepat berkembang. Kota Surakarta mempunyai potensi yang sangat besar di dunia fashion. Hal ini ditunjang dengan adanya industri batik yang terkenal baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri yang mencerminkan kota Surakarta sebagai kota budaya. Banyaknya pusat fashion busana, graha fashion busana, dan butik fashion busana di Surakarta yang semakin mendukung kota Surakarta menjadi kota yang selalu berkembang di dunia fashion. Butik – butik yang terdapat di Surakarta pada umumnya terletak di dekat sentra kain batik yaitu kawasan pasar klewer, seperti butik Danar Hadi, Batik Keris, Al Fath, Ratu Batik Sala, Duta Mode, Tip Top, dan masih banyak lagi. Butik – butik tersebut menjual pakaian jadi dengan berbagai model dan tema tersendiri. Analisis dan konsep arsitektur kontemporer ini mengambil contoh dari beberapa karya arsitek dunia yang mewakili dari arsitektur kontemporer. Dari hasil analisis didapat bahwa arsitektur kontemporer memiliki istilah fungsi mengikuti bentuk (function follow form). Bentuk bangunan Pusat Studi ini menggunakan konsep preseden dari karya-karya arsitek Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid dan Daniel Libeskind

    Demanding knowledge is an activity that must be carried out for all believers, because with our knowledge of being civilized human beings, the knowledge that must be learned is not only knowledge but also the science of religion. Islamic boarding schools are places for studying both formal and non-formal sciences, the activities in Islamic boarding schools are very diverse. In addition to studying the science and religion of Islamic boarding schools also teaches about mentadaburi al quran and memorizes it and practices it, al quran itself is a book of Muslims which is the main source of law in Islam. Boven Digoel is a district in Papua, a district bordering Papua New Guinea (PNG) and its place is still inland but growing, designing Islamic boarding schools in Boven Digoel district is deemed necessary as a place for the spread of Islam and a place for preaching so that people know more about Islam. Tanah Merah City is the place chosen as a site in this design because the city of Tanah Merah is the capital of Boven Digoel and also a regional scale education service center. The problem that occurs in this design is how to make the design comfortable and environmentally friendly considering the temperature in the city of Tanah Merah which is quite hot and very far away so that access to material shipments takes a long time. The design concept that will be used is designing a boarding school which can apply the requirements of Green Architecture such as minimizing electricity use, reprocessing water, and utilizing natural resources. The design process that will be carried out is determining the site or site that will be built, considering the site, analyzing the site and making conceptual ideas or designs on the building. The results of the design are in the form of Islamic boarding schools which contain school buildings, dormitory buildings and supporting buildings such as swimming pools, minimarkets and so on

    Abstrak: Kumpulan kisah Rumi dalam hal ini memiliki kedekatan dengan dengan gendre prosa fiksi novel karena mengalami penceritaan dari sudut padan yang berbeda oleh beberapa penulis.Tujuan penelitian ini, (1) mendeskripsikan nilai akidah kumpulan kisah “Ratapan Kerinduan Rumi Karya” Osman Nuri Topbas, (2) mendeskripsikan nilai syariat dalam kumpulan kisah “Ratapan Kerinduan Rumi Karya” Osman Nuri Topbas, (3) mendeskripsikan nilai akhlak dalam kumpulan kisah “Ratapan Kerinduan Rumi Karya” Osman Nuri Topbas.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menguraikan beberapa kata yang berhubungan dengan nilai religius dalam kumpulan kisan Ratapan Kerinduan Rumi Karya Osman Nuri Topbas.Hasil analisis data dalam novel tersebut terdapat nilai akidah dalam kumpulan kisah “Ratapan Kerinduan Rumi Karya” Osman Nuri Topbas, meyakini tuhan sebagai pencipta dan pemelihara meyakini kehendak tuhan.  Nilai syariat dalam kumpulan kisah yaitu menaati perintah tuhan (allah). Selain itu, nilai akhlak kepada makhluk (manusia) juga menjadi cakupan di dalamnya.Kata kunci: nilai, religius, kumpulan kisan, Rum

    Meeting the hhallenges of globalization while preserving institutional singularity : the case of Quebec CEGEPs

    Version prĂ©-publication.Focusing on the case of Quebec general and vocational colleges (collĂšges d’enseignement general et professionnel – CEGEPs), this chapter will explore how colleges’ responses to global challenges may relate symbiotically with the nature of the higher education system in which they are embedded, and thus preserve their singularity in the global era. CEGEPs interact with organizations across borders and across spatial levels, but their capacity to preserve their singularity relies on institutional initiatives consistent with and supported by the local and provincial contexts. College-university transfer is not an issue in Quebec because it is embedded in the system. CEGEPs however need to respond to the growing knowledge-intensiveness of the economy, and they do so by establishing DEC-BAC dual degrees with local universities and as well as by developing a coherent system of CCTTs that conducts locally-relevant research. CEGEPs have also responded to the global devaluation of diplomas by engaging in international activities that are consistent with Quebec’s knowledge diplomacy, i.e. a province, a region or a country using international education activities to outsource its values, communicate the relevance of its political agenda, and increase its attractiveness (Olds, 2009)
