In this article the idenfication of a fashion product, its variability and the analyses of fashion as an industrial design will be discussed within the framework of fashion product marketing. The process of product creation is closely related to the economic, sociological and psychological factors considered, hence, sociologists and trend setters are working together because the concept of fashion product should be viewed as a determiner of status and power of a certain community. Each group within the community should be defined within a certain status and therefore each status corresponds to a relevant fashion concept. The survival of the fashion designers within the industrial sector could only be plausable if fashion is firstly analyzed conceptually and then applied separately to each group of the community

In this work, the effect of project based learning approach on students’ academic achievement on the topic of “Application of UV/Visible spectroscopic analysis method based on light-matter interaction” in Analytical Chemistry Laboratory lesson. Pre- and post-test quasi experimental design with control group was applied in this research. In the experimental group, the subject was carried out with the project based learning approach and in the control group in accordance with the teaching program. It was observed that there was a significant difference in the students’ academic achievement in favour of the experimental group in which the project based learning approach was used according to the Mann-Whitney U test analysis results of the post-test academic achievement scores (p<.05). Wilcoxon signed rank test results showed that the increase of students’ academic achievement of within both groups. It can be also stated that project based learning approach has a great effect size considering to Cohen’s d value (d=0.88). Content analysis of semistructured interview results demonstrated that the experimental group students find it more memorable to process the subject with an applied approach

The Investigation of Electrochemical Behaviour of NADH with TBO at a Glassy Carbon Electrode

    Get PDF
Electrochemical oxidation studies of NADH with different mediators have been made recently. It was shown that the reduction of NAD+ is more difficult than the oxidation of NADH. On the other hand, regenaration of some mediator systems which are immobilised on the same electrode surface takes a long time2. Therefore, the study of electrochemical behaviour of different mediator and NADH at a bare glassy carbon electrode will become a base for other relevant studies. In this study, electrochemical behaviour of TBO with NADH is investigated by differential puls and cyclic voltammetry and the influence of the temperature, different buffer systems, pH range and electrolyte type was optimised

This study was carried out to determine the amount of meat consumption by adult individuals and its affecting factors in Turkey and to evaluate them within the framework of sustainable nutrition and climate change. The study was completed with 613 adult individuals between 1-31 March 2021. It was determined that the average red meat consumption was per capita 49.34 +/- 53.73 g/day Those with an income of more than 15000 Turkish lira consumed 45.95 g more red meat than those with an income of less than 3000 Turkish lira. "Taste" was the most commonly cited reason for consuming red meat. While 60.8% of the participants reported that they would reduce their red meat consumption for environmental health, 76.7% of them stated that they would not consume artificially produced red meat. In this study, it was determined that women consumed less meat group foods than men and participants with lower incomes consumed less than those with higher incomes. The amount of red meat consumption was found to be about half of the global average. More studies are required to evaluate the effect of nutrition style on climate change in Turkey.
