Detection of infalling hydrogen in transfer between the interacting galaxies NGC 5426 and NGC 5427
Using velocity tagging we have detected hydrogen from NGC 5426 falling onto
its interacting partner NGC 5427. Our observations, with the GHaFaS Fabry-Perot
spectrometer, produced maps of the two galaxies in Halpha surface brightness
and radial velocity. We found emission with the range of velocities associated
with NGC 5426 along lines of sight apparently emanating from NGC 5427,
superposed on the velocity map of the latter. After excluding instrumental
effects we assign the anomalous emission to gas pulled from NGC 5426 during its
passage close to NGC 5427. Its distribution, more intense between the arms and
just outside the disk of NGC 5427, and weak, or absent, in the arms, suggests
that the infalling gas is behind the disk., ionized by Lyman continuum photons
escaping from NGC 5427. Modeling this, we estimate the distances of these gas
clouds- behind the plane: a few hundred pc to a few kpc. We also estimate the
mass of the infalling (ionized plus neutral) gas, finding an infall rate of 10
solar masses per year, consistent with the high measured SFR across the disk of
NGC 5427 and with the detected circumnuclear galactic wind.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures. Accepted for publication in ApJ
“Aproximación al concepto de organización criminal e injusto sistémico”
This research paper shows the problems and difficulties in determining a concept of criminal organization. The starting point is the Spanish legal framework and the civil criminal dogmatic. In this way it seeks to know and identify the implications and scope of the criminal organization, due to its negative impact on current societies.
Keywords: Autopoiesis. Normative concept. Conclusions. Criminal structure. Systemic unfair.

Usos y resultados de las redes sociales como estrategia electoral: análisis del caso de cuatro municipios del gran Concepción (Chile) en la campaña de 2016
The process of disaffection in the political activity in Chile and the legal amendments to the electoral propaganda and the financing of campaigns in the country generated that parties and candidates could see social networks as an opportunity of dissemination and adverti- sing through the Internet. However, the practice shows that, despite its manifest importance, the activity has not reached an edge of professionalization yet. This explanatory research depicts the use of digital platforms specifically in four Chilean cities during the 2016 munici- pal election. Based on that information, there will be a critical reflection on the role of the journalist and social communicator in the design of relevant communication strategies in the electoral activity.
Validation and Psychometric Properties of the Gameplay-Scale for Educative Video Games in Spanish Children
The knowledge of evaluation instruments to determine the level of gameplay of
schoolchildren is very important at this time. A systematic review has been carried out in this
study. The aim of this paper is to investigate the psychometric properties of a study of a sample
of Spanish gamers. Two hundred and thirty-seven children (mean age: 11.2 +/- 1.17 years, range:
10-12 years, 59.5% female) completed the Gameplay-Scale to discover their opinions after a game
session with a serious educational game. The final scale consisted of three factors. The fit for factor 1
(usability) was 0.712, the fit for factor 2 was 0.702 (satisfaction), the fit for factor 3 was 0.886 (empathy)
and the overall fit was 0.868. A positive and direct relationship could be observed between all the
dimensions of the developed scale. The greatest correlation strength is shown between satisfaction
and empathy (r = 0.800; p < 0.005), followed by satisfaction and usability (r = 0.180; p < 0.05) and
the association between empathy and usability (r = 0.140; p < 0.05). In summary, the results of the
present study support the use of the Gameplay-Scale as a valid and reliable measure of the game
experience of youth populations. These results demonstrate strong psychometric properties so that
the Gameplay-Scale appears to be a valid instrument for children in different contexts where an
educational video game is used, analyzing its usability/“playability” in terms of learning to use it,
game satisfaction, and empathy. This research is supported by the Andalusian Research Program under the project P11-TIC-7486

Emotional Intelligence, Motivational Climate and Levels of Anxiety in Athletes from Different Categories of Sports: Analysis through Structural Equations
(1) Background: Psychological factors can strongly affect the athletes’ performance.
Therefore, currently the role of the sports psychologist is particularly relevant, being in charge
of training the athlete’s psychological factors. This study aims at analysing the connections
between motivational climate in sport, anxiety and emotional intelligence depending on the type
of sport practised (individual/team) by means of a multigroup structural equations analysis.
(2) 372 semi-professional Spanish athletes took part in this investigation, analysing motivational
climate (PMCSQ-2), emotional intelligence (SSRI) and levels of anxiety (STAI). A model of multigroup
structural equations was carried out which fitted accordingly (χ2= 586.77; df = 6.37; р < 0.001;
Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = -0.951; Normed Fit Index (NFI) = -0.938; Incremental Fit Index
(IFI) = 0.947; Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) = 0.069). (3) Results: A negative and
direct connection has been found between ego oriented climate and task oriented climate, which is
stronger and more differentiated in team sports. The most influential indicator in ego oriented climate
is intra-group rivalry, exerting greater influence in individual sports. For task-oriented climate
the strongest indicator is having an important role in individual sports, while in team sports it is
cooperative learning. Emotional intelligence dimensions correlate more strongly in team sports than
in individual sports. In addition, there was a negative and indirect relation between task oriented
climate and trait-anxiety in both categories of sports. (4) Conclusions: This study shows how the
task-oriented motivational climate or certain levels of emotional intelligence can act preventively in
the face of anxiety states in athletes. Therefore, the development of these psychological factors could
prevent anxiety states and improve performance in athletes
