    Pembelajaran di dalam kelas tidak mungkin berlangsung dengan efktif jika tidak terjadi komunikasi antara guru dengan siswa. Oleh sebab itu, efektivitas komunikasi harus dilaksanakan oleh guru melalui interaksi dengan bahasa lisan, dan tulisan serta gestur sehingga pesan yang terbingkai dalam materi pelajaran dapat diterima anak didik dengan baik. dengan demikian komunikasi pembelajaran terbentuk dari gaya mengajar guru, baik dalam penggunaan strategi, metode mengajar, maupun penggunaan media dan pendekatan mengajar yang digunakan guru. Pesan yang berupa materi pelajaran, baik pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan yang disampaikan guru melalui penggunaan metode pembelajaran sehingga terjadai perubahan perilaku anak didik

    Keberhasilan organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan tidak lepas dari peran kepemimpinan, dan dengan kepemimpinan yang baik akan menghasilkan suatu organisasi yang baik pula dalam menjalankan suatu tujuan yang diharapkan. Artikel ini membahas tentang kepemimpinan transaksional: model kontemporer dalam memimpin lembaga pendidikan Islam. Adapun kajian dalam artikel ini menggunakan library research dan analisis data menggunakan content analysis, dan berdasarkan hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transaksional yaitu suatu transaction atau exchange process antara pemimpin dan pengikut, terjadi pada saat pengikut menerima reward dari job performance dan pemimpin memperoleh manfaat dari penyelesaian tugas-tugas. Jadi pada gaya kepemimpinan ini baik pemimpin maupun yang dipimpin sama-sama menerima keuntungan, dan dengan menggunakan model gaya kepemimpinan tersebut diyakini organisasi akan efektif dan berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Transaksional, Model Kontemporer, dan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

The research method used is field research with qualitative approach.The results of this research will be to explain aspects of Islamic educational institutions in terms of Orientation; the curriculum output is normative in accordance with National Education Standards, but the implementation process is modified in accordance with the religious understanding and inseparable from the “Islamic Label” of each school, Typology; the implementation of the pattern and character of Islamic education institutions in Medan does not symbolize his culture and Commercialization; the direction and purpose of the city community choose the leading Islamic schools which ultimately can open the opportunity for the practice of industrialization of education.Thus, the development of Islamic education institutions in the Medan, has not led to increased religiusity of society and characterized by poor practice of morality in the public
