Comparison of companies HOCHTIEF CZ and OHL ŽS trough bankruptcy and financial standing models

Theme of this bachelor theses is comparison of 2 building comapnies. The teoretical part describes common and rare bankruptcy a financial standings models. In the practical part I have focused myself on the financial analysis and comparison through bankruptcy and financial standings models. The goal was to find out if HOVHTIEF CZ will survive in the future

Reputation of University of economics, Prague

This thesis focuses on issue of reputation of higher education institution. Theoretical part defines reputation and specifies it in context of image, identity and brand and describes evaluation methods of these terms in context of higher education. Importance of reputation for public institutions and universities is also described. The objective of the research part was to investigate reputation of University of economics Prague (VŠE) in view of different stakeholders. Second objective was to analyze reputation of private higher education institutions competing with VŠE. Questionnaire was selected as a research method, 3 groups of stakeholders were asked to participate: students of VŠE, students of other universities and companies. Result of the research confirmed the hypothesis, that reputation of private schools worsens their position on the market. Also hypothesis that VŠE has bad reputation in eyes of students of other universities, but great reputation in eyes of companies was confirmed. In the conclusion, some steps to increase reputation of VŠE were recommended

Opinion polls vs. Election models of bookmakers: Comparison of precision

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou predikce výsledků voleb pomocí předvolebních průzkumů veřejného mínění a kurzů sázkových kanceláří. Teoretická část rozebírá problematiku průzkumů veřejného mínění a sázkových kurzů, včetně důvodů, které je vzhledem k následné predikci volebního výsledku vychylují. Cílem výzkumu praktické části bylo porovnání přesnosti kurzů a předvolebních vzhledem k výsledkům voleb. Výzkum jsem prováděl na třech volbách z blízké minulosti, ke kterým jsem nashromáždil dostatek dat. Tento dostatečně velký výzkumný vzorek ukazuje s velkou pravděpodobností na to, že kurzy sázkových kanceláří jsou z hlediska volebních výsledků přesnější.This thesis focuses on prediction of election results with opinion polls or bookmaker election models. Theoretical part examines different approaches regarding opinion polls and bookmaker models, especially focusing on influences, which can divert the results shown. The objective of the research part was to compare accuracy of bookmaker models and pre-election opinion polls with actual results of polls. Research was performed on three recent elections, to which enough data was accessible. This sufficiently large selection of data shows, with high enough probability, that for predicting election results, bookmaker models are more accurate than opinion polls

Voting analysis of the Chamber of Deputies

Objective of this thesis is cluster analysis of political parties and individual politicians in Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. In theoretical part, legislative process in Czech Republic is explained and political situation in Chamber of Deputies is described. Also cluster analysis theory is explained. In practical part, firstly, cluster analysis of political parties was performed, than of individual members of parliament. The furthest neighbor and Ward's methods were used in this part. On the basis of discovered facts, it's possible to confirm compactness of coalition and also of conservative opposition. In specific political parties, as most united behave TOP 09 members and least ČSSD members of parliament

Well Cementing and Application of the Top Cement Pulstation Technology in Czech Republic

Import 29/09/2010V předložené práci jsou zpracovány pracovní postupy při cementování vrtů v ČR a požití “TCP“. Na začátku téhle práce jsou popsány tipy cementací a příprava cementových směsí. Později jsou popsány technologické postupy a technické prostředky pro kvalitní cementace a využití “TCP“ po cementaci. Metoda pulzování cementové směsi ve vrtu se v ČR ještě nepoužívá, ale věřím, že je to dobrá metoda k zabránění migrace plynu.In this task there are processed the operating procedures in the well cementation in the Czech Republic and application of the TCP. At the beginning of this study there are the types of cementation described and the preparation of cement slurry. Later there are described the technological procedures and the technical instruments for the top cementation and the use of TCP after cementing. Graphic User Iterface for Autopilot

Tato práce je zaměřena na implementaci grafického rozhraní systému autopilota. Samotnému popisu implementace předchází popis prostorového modelu pohybu letounu, historie vývoje systému autopilota a návrh rozhraní tohoto systému. Cílem bylo vytvoření grafického rozhraní pro dotykové obrazovky a nastínění možného budoucího vývoje.This thesis is aimed on the graphic user interface for the autopilot systems. Before the description of the implementation itself, there is part describing flight model of an aircraft, the history of autopilot systems and finally the draft of the interface. The thesis describes creation of the graphic interface for touchscreens, it's integration into the simulator and an outline of the further development.
