Abrasive surface finishing on SLM 316L parts fabricated with recycled powder

Improving the surface roughness quality of 3D printed components, especially metallic ones, which are fabricated from the selective laser melting (SLM) method, has drawn enormous attention from the research community. It should be noted that various studies on this topic have reported that precise surface roughness results can be obtained with various techniques that are indeed not cost-effective. Differing itself from these studies, this manuscript investigates an economical solution for fabricating and surface treating SLM components. Specifically, the inspected specimens were printed with recycled 316L stainless steel powder and treated solely with two abrasive surface finishing methods. In the manuscript, two scanning strategies namely meander and stripes, and three types of surfaces were investigated. Subsequently, their 2D and 3D surface roughness results were elaborated. After the proposed herein abrasive treatment, 3D surface roughness arithmetical mean height of a surface (Sa) value of 0.9 mu m can be achieved.Web of Science116art. no. 286

Telefónica O2 system of education analysis

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou systému podnikového vzdělávání, konkrétně ve společnosti Telefónica O2. V první části práce shrnuji obecné poznatky o problematice vzdělávání dospělých a systému podnikového vzdělávání. Podrobněji jsou zde rozebrány jednotlivé metody, které se používají při vzdělávání zaměstnanců. Druhá část obsahuje charakteristiku společnosti Telefónica O2 a popis systému podnikového vzdělávání. V závěru této části jsou shrnuty návrhy pro vytvoření programů pro absolventy vysokých škol, které společnost v současnosti nenabízí.This bachelors work deals with problems related to company education system and pertains to company Telefónica O2. First part sums up general knowledge about adult education and company education system. It characterizes in detail methods that are used in employee education. Second part contains characterization of company Telefónica O2 and description of its education system. Determination of temperature dependence of pyroelectric coefficient and permitivity TGS trough approximation function

Technical report describes the numerical method emploeyd for evaluation of properties of tryglicinium sulfate based pyroeletric materials prepared in the IREE. The raw experimental data related to temperature dependence of capacitance and of the polarization curves of the samples are interpolated using appropriate approximation function. The program optimizes parameter values of the function expressing the permitivity and the pyroelectric coefficient

Application of pyroelectric sensor TGS in experimental infrared gas analyzer

The research report descibes the utilization of a triglycine sulfate pyroelectric sensor in an experimental infrared gas analyzer designed in IREE for the control of the carbon dioxide concentration in gaseous mixtures. The report includes details about the construction of the analyzer, describes its function, method of calibration and its medium term stability. Information gained during the development and testing of the analyzer is also included and can be considered in case of future further development of this unit

Photocatalysts based on g-C3N4 modified with silver

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na přípravu a charakterizaci fotokatalyticky aktivního materiálu na bázi stříbrem modifikovaného grafitického nitridu uhlíku (Ag/g-C3N4) a testování jeho aktivity při fotokatalytické degradaci acid oranže 7 za asistence UV-A záření. Grafitický nitrid uhlíku byl připraven metodou tepelné kondenzace melaminu, přičemž vyladění kalcinačních podmínek bylo uskutečněno metodou plánování experimentů (Design of Experiments, DOE). Vhodně selektované vzorky (vzorek 10 a vzorek 34) byly následně modifikovány stříbrem o různém obsahu (0, 0,5, 1 a 3 % Ag) prostřednictvím fotoredukční metody. Fotokatalytická aktivita čistého i modifikovaného vzorku byla testována pro fotokatalytickou degradaci modelového barviva acid oranž 7 za pomoci ultrafialového záření. Polovodivé schopnosti vzorků byly ověřeny pomocí UV-VIS spektroskopie. Vzorky byly dále charakterizovány infračervenou spektroskopií, rentgenovou difrakční analýzou, difúzní reflektanční spektroskopií a fotoluminiscenční analýzou. Morfologie částic vzorků byla studována prostřednictvím skenovací elektronové mikroskopie.The diploma thesis is focused on preparation and characterization of the photocatalytic active material based on silver modified graphitic carbon nitride (Ag/g-C3N4). Graphitic carbon nitride was prepared by thermal polycondensation of melamine and the calcination process was tuned using the Design of Experiments (DOE) method. The selected samples (sample 10 and sample 34) were modified with silver of different percentages contents (0, 0.1, 1 and 3 % Ag) using the photoreduction method. The degradation of the model azo dye acid orange 7 was used for the determination of the photoactivity of the pristine and silver modified samples. The band gap energies of the prepared samples were evaluated using UV-VIS spectroscopy. The samples were further characterized using infrared spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction method and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Quality of services support in the end applications

Tématem této diplomové práce je zajištění kvality služeb na aplikační a linkové vrstvě OSI modelu. V úvodu jsou diskutovány obecné parametry zajištění kvality služeb na síťové vrstvě a základní druhy technologií, což je zde použito jako prostředek pro zavedení pojmů spojených s tématikou zajištění kvality služeb obecně. Tento úvod do tématiky je následován úvodem do technologie Ethernet, která je základem praktické části této diplomové práce. V rámci této části je také obsažen rozbor zajištění kvality služeb v rámci technologie Ethernet a to IEEE 802.1Q/p. Tento rozbor je následován strukturovaným popisem funkce a ovládání parametrů kvality služeb linkové vrstvy a to pomocí systémového nástroje ve Windows XP. Dále je zde zahrnut popis struktury ovladačů linkové vrstvy Windows XP a možnosti jejich modifikace systémovým nástrojem tcmon. Na konci teoretické části je obsažen text zabývající se zajištěním kvality služeb v bezdrátových sítích a to především technologie 802.11e. V první oblasti praktické části je obsažen popis návrhu topologie určené k aplikaci zajištění kvality služeb, což je dále rozvinuto ve fundovaný rozbor jednotlivých aplikací použitých při vytváření modelu sítě. Poslední segment tohoto textu je věnován diskuzi výsledků celé aplikace kvality služeb a to jak v grafickém vyjádření tak i v uceleném popisném bloku se zaměřením na dosaženou kvalitu VoIP přenosu.The topic of this diploma thesis has been chosen for a discussion and implementation of quality of service on the application and link layer of the OSI model. At the beginning of this thesis the general parameters and basic technologies of the OSI model network layer has been explained. This part was chosen as a resource for explanation of the basic parameters in the quality of services. Basic part is followed by the introduction to the Ethernet technology, which became as a ground for the real model in this diploma thesis. As a part of this section has been written a block which contains a analysis of quality of services in the Ethernet, which means the implementation of IEEE 802.1Q/p. This analysis is followed by structured descrition of the controlling and functionality of quality of services parameters on the link layer with the system tool in the Windows XP, description of Win XP link layer drivers and its modification with system tool tcmon. The end of the theoretical part is represented by introduction to the implementation of quality of service in the wireless networks especially the 802.11e standard. At the beginning of the practical part is specified the description of the topology design which is dedicated to the quality of services implementation. This section is developed to well-founded analysis of applications which were used during topology creating. The last segment of this thesis is dedicated to evolving the practical informations which were obtained during the measurement.

The aim of this Batchelor Thesis is to compare different deep drawing technologies, for given deep-drowen product – an industrial lamp, made of steel brass. The technologies to compare will be hydro-mechanical drawing, gradual deep drawing and metal stamping technology. The procedure of simple hydro-mechanical drawing parameters calculation will be indicated.
