This research focused on the social-religious competency of Islamic studies' lecturers of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang. Therefore, this research explored the contribution of the lecturers for the social religious activities in the area in which the lecturers have been living for many years. In this research, the researcher uses the qualitative method using a phenomenology approaches. The techniques of collecting data include observation, in-depth-interview and documentation. This research shows that the contribution of Islamic lecturers for social-religious activities can be divided into four typologies or roles: first: lecturers who involved in social Islamic organization act as a kiai, second: lecturers who concern in Islamic preaching actions as preachers or (da'i), third: lecturers who contribute to spread Islamic teaching or (ustadz) and fourth: lecturers who occupied as village staff

Modelling the Non-equilibrium Electric Double Layer at Oil-pressboard Interface of High Voltage Transformers

In large oil-filled power transformers, cellulose-based pressboard and paper are used throughout for electrical insulation. Microscopic views have shown that pressboard insulation is a fibrous and porous structure with non-homogeneous surface. It has been recognised that the pressboard structure is more porous towards the edge [1]. The pores within the pressboard allow oil absorption during impregnation process and provide paths for oil to penetrate until saturation is reached. The ratio of fibre and oil changes as the material structure changes from a medium of bulk oil-pressboard composite toward the bulk oil medium. The porosity of pressboard can also result in impurities within the oil being drawn into the pressboard. It has also been recognised that physicochemical process of a liquid in contact with solid wall leads to the formation of electric double layer (EDL) in the liquid region [2, 3]. The material properties and geometry of pressboard thus lead to a complex oil-pressboard interface. A 2-D model of oil-pressboard interface has been constructed using Comsol Multiphysics Finite Element Analysis software and this is shown in Figure 1. The mathematical model considers the dissociation of a generic impurity in the oil into positive and negative ions and considers the role of the porous and non-homogeneous wall of pressboard in the formation of the EDL. The pressboard, which is represented by different arrays of fibre, promotes preferential adsorption and desorption processes between ions in the oil and unoccupied fibre surfaces of oil impregnated pressboard. The model studies the non-equilibrium charge density profile in the EDL at the oil-pressboard interface when the oil is in the stationary condition

This article is to create thought-emotion processing device model in theform of CD that is ready to be applied by teachers in order to to develop of love towardnational culture of elementary school students. Short-term goal of drafting a model in theform of CD as well as information on the effect of the application of psycho-educationalthought-emotion processing device toward love of national. In the first year, designingpsycho education models thought-emotion processing device that can increase primarystudents' character of love toward national culture. In the second year, the researcherconduct experiment activity to test the effect of thought-emotion processing device modelof national culture love in 3 areas that could represent primary student characteristicin Indonesia. This research is usefull for teacher to implement character-based learningcomprehensively in the classical style in order to increase the character of love towardnational culture. The USAge is teachers can implement by themselves with a manner andsteps which is recommended in learning guide based on this character education

Salah satu marga anggrek yang penting dari segi hortikultura ialah Vanda R. Br. Marga ini mempunyai anggota kiia-kira 60 jenis yang tersebar luas mulai dari India. Asia Tenggara sampai ke Papua Nugini. Berdasaikan bentuk daunnya Vanda dap at dibedakan dalam dua kelompok. Yang pertama adalah kelompok Vanda pensil, memiliki daun yang berbentuk tabling seperti pensil, penampang melintang daunnya bundar (contoh : Vanda hookerana Rchb.f., Vanda teres (Roxb.) Lindl. dan Vanda tricuspidata J.J.S. Kelompok kedua disebut Vanda sabuk, mempunyai daun lebai yang memanjang seperti sabuk dan penampang melintang daunnya sepertikupu-kupu atauburung terbang (contoh: Vanda helvola BL, Vanda dearii Rchb.f., Vanda insignis BL, Vanda sumatrana Schlt., Vanda limbata BL Vanda suavis Rchb.f., Vanda celebica Rolfe dan Vanda tricolor Lindl.)

Chayote (Sechium edule (Jacq). Sw.) is one of the vegetable plants that can be used for traditional medicine and has activity as an antioxidant. The objective of the research is to know aims the optimum condition of fruit of chayote extract to total phenolic compound. The method for determining the optimum condition is by using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Box-Behnken Design (BBD) was selected as a research design with three factors parameters and three levels. The three variabels used are the extraction times (2, 3 and 4 hours), chayote-solvents ratio (1:5, 1:10 and 1:15) and solvent concentration (food quality ethanol 30, 50 and 70%). The total phenolic content and yield extraction were obtained as the non-dependent variables. The extraction was done by percolation method and total phenolic content was analyzed by using ELISA reader. The simplicis used is fresh fruit of chayote with dried up shrink rate of 90.47%, water content 93.69%, total ash content of 0.44%, 0.02% acid soluble ash content, 0.52% for soluble compound in water, 0.52% soluble in ethanol, and total phenol content of 4.75 mg EAG/g dry simplicia. The results showed that the optimum condition of extraction for fresh fruit of chayote was obtained at 2 hours extraction with 1:14.35 chayote-solvent ratios and ethanol concentration 66.22% with total phenol value 2.50 mg EAG/g extract and 2.20% extraction yields. In conclusion, the total phenolic compounds of fruit chayote has been successfully optimized using the Response Surface Methodology technique. The optimum condition of total phenolic compound of fruit chayote is in the range of factors determined

Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) gas owns remarkable properties as insulation medium and current interrupter, which make it being widely used in gas-insulated equipment up to now. However, SF6 gas has a drawback that gives adverse effect to the environment since it is a strong greenhouse gas. As the effort to minimize the SF6 usage, this study was conducted to investigate the AC breakdown behavior of SF6/N2 gas mixtures with 10/90 ratio at low pressure levels (i.e. 0.11 MPa to 0.15 MPa) under non uniform field (i.e. R0.5-plane and R6-plane electrodes configurations). The results of the study indicate that the breakdown voltage of SF6/N2 gas mixtures in non-uniform field increases linearly with the increase of gas pressure and electrodes gap distance. As a function of gap distance, a higher increasing rate of breakdown voltage values were achieved at lowest pressure of 0.11 MPa compared to other pressure levels. In addition, it is also found that a higher breakdown voltage values was obtained under R6-plane configuration. But, the difference in breakdown voltage values between R0.5-plane and R6-plane configuration is less significant as the gap distance is increased. It is also observed that the field efficiency factor of R6-plane is higher than R0.5-plane which indicates a more uniform field exists between the electrodes

Breast and Axillary Lymph Nodes Metastasis five years after Radical Nephrectomy for Renal Cell Carcinoma A Case Report and Review of the Literature

Breast is an uncommon and rare site for metastasis. Primary and secondary tumors of the breast need to be differentiated as management is different. We present a 67 year old female patient with two breast lumps and an axillary lymph node, 5 years after nephrectomy for Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC). Mammogram report showed a dense spiculated mass at right upper outer quadrant and a retroareolar mass associated with clustered micro calcifications. Fine Needle Cytology and trucut biopsy were inconclusive. Computer Topography (CT) abdomen did not show evidence of RCC recurrence. After discussion with the patient, she underwent mastectomy with axillary clearance and the final histopathology report was consistent with metastasis from RCC. The management of this case is discussed
