In the 2019 Government Work Report of The State Council[1], Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, stressed the need to “promote coordinated regional development and improve the quality of new-type urbanization.” The Government Work Report of The State Council in May 2020 puts forward the basic principles of strengthening the new-type urbanization and improving the capacity of public service facilities[2]. (Xinhua News Agency [XNA], 2020). It is necessary to promote sustainable and livable urbanization. What should urbanization be like in the case of the new type as a crucial task of construction? How should it deepen the reform of the household registration system and promote economic development beyond the population balance of cities? Based on city clusters, how should urbanization further be promoted and comprehensively driven the Chinese economy after the epidemic? Will the "street stall economy" and "small shop economy" jointly proposed by the Central Civilization Office and Prime Minister in 2020 be a new opportunity? By reviewing Urbanization in China (2019) written by Houkai Wei, this paper believes that Qingming Scroll, as an observable example of the economic prosperity of the Northern Song Dynasty, can be a breakthrough in the analysis of the new-type urbanization. Taking the urbanization of the Northern Song Dynasty shown in Qingming Scroll as a base, this paper will further give a new answer on how to further develop and improve the new urbanization. Based on the analysis of the national urbanization of Bianjing in the Northern Song Dynasty shown and the process given by Urbanization in China, this paper further speculates and constructs the possibility of development. Therefore, according to the characteristics of cities and the nature of urban development in the Northern Song Dynasty, this paper tries to analyze the structure of urbanization in New China and discusses feasible new ways of the urban economy.[1] Li, Keqiang. Glioma is a highly common pathological brain tumor. Misfolded protein response, which is strongly associated with the growth of cancerous tumors, is mediated by the gene, endoplasmic reticulum degradation-enhancing alpha-mannosidase-like protein 2. However, this gene has not been linked to glioma. To assess the same, we used The Cancer Genome Atlas, Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas, and Genotype-Tissue Expression datasets. The gene was overexpressed in gliomas. This overexpression was linked to unfavorable clinical characteristics, such as the World Health Organization grade, isocitrate dehydrogenase mutation, and the combined loss of the short arm chromosome 1 and the long arm of chromosome 19. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction experiments and immunohistochemistry on clinical samples from our institution verified the gene’s expression and clinical importance. The Human Protein Atlas website verified the messenger ribonucleic acid expression of the gene in glioma cell lines, and immunohistochemistry verified the presence of its protein. A previous survival study indicated that its high expression is substantially related to a bad prognosis. It was identified as an independent predictor of primary glioma prognosis using multivariate Cox regression analysis. To forecast individual survival, we created a nomogram based on this (concordance-index = 0.847). Additionally, functional annotation demonstrated its major role in the control of the extracellular matrix and immune system. The scratch assay and transwell migration assay confirmed the decreased invasive ability of U251 glioma cells with the gene knockdown. Its increased expression was found to be related to the extent of macrophage infiltration using the CIBERSORT, ESTIMATE, Single-sample Gene Set Enrichment Analysis, and Tumor Immune Single-Cell Hub (TISCH) algorithms. The Tumor Immune Dysfunction and Exclusion algorithm revealed that the gene can accurately predict the response of immunotherapy (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve = 0.857). Further, isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 mutation is typically more frequent when the gene expression is high. Finally, five medicines targeting this gene were discovered utilizing the molecular docking program and drug sensitivity analysis of the RNAactDrug website. Low expression of the gene inhibited glioma cell invasion. Therefore, the gene is helpful for the diagnosis, prognosis, and case-specific immunotherapy of glioma

With the rapid development and deployment of Industrial Internet of Things technology, it promotes interconnection and edge applications in smart manufacturing. However, challenges remain, such as yet-to-improve communication efficiency and trade-offs between computing power and energy consumption, which limits the application and further development of IIoT technology. This paper proposes the digital twin systems into the IIoT to build model between physical objects and digital virtual systems to optimize the structure of IIoT. And we further introduce federal learning to train the digital twins model and to improve the communication efficiency of IIoT. In this paper, we first establish the digital twins model of IIoT based on industrial scenario. Moreover, to optimize the communication overhead allocation problem, this paper proposes an improved communication-efficient distribution algorithm, which speeds up the training performance of federated model and ensures the performance of industrial system model by changing the update training mode of client and server and allowing some industrial equipment to participate in federated training. This paper simulates the real-word intelligent camera detection to validate the proposed method. Comparing our proposed method with the existing traditional methods, the results show the advantages of the proposed method can improve the communication performance of the training model

Frequency-dependent orthotropic damping properties of Nomex honeycomb composites

    Get PDF
In this paper, the orthotropic damping behavior of Nomex honeycomb composites and its causes are investigated. The needed specimen sizes for the measurement of the frequency-dependent transverse shear moduli (TSM) and fundamental damping coefficients of the honeycomb cores were analyzed at first. Then, the effects of cell side length and beam orientation on the orthotropic damping properties were explored. The results reveal that relatively high TSM (GLT) and damping values (ηWT) can be obtained by decreasing the cell side length without adding any additional weight. Damping mechanism analysis indicates that the difference in damping contribution of the interfacial phase to honeycomb core in different directions leads to the orthotropic damping behavior of honeycomb core. This study is helpful to guide the TSM measurement and structure design of honeycomb composites

Generalized Hartmann-Shack array of dielectric metalens sub-arrays for polarimetric beam profiling

To define and characterize optical systems, obtaining information on the amplitude, phase, and polarization profile of optical beams is of utmost importance. Polarimetry using bulk optics is well established to characterize the polarization state. Recently, metasurfaces and metalenses have successfully been introduced as compact optical components. Here, we take the metasurface concept to the system level by realizing arrays of metalens 2*3 sub-arrays, allowing to determine the polarization profile of an optical beam. We use silicon-based metalenses with a numerical aperture of 0.32 and a mean measured diffraction efficiency in transmission mode of 28% at 1550 nm wavelength. Together with a standard camera recording the array foci, our system is extremely compact and allows for real-time beam diagnostics by inspecting the foci amplitudes. By further analyzing the foci displacements in the spirit of a Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor, we can simultaneously detect phase-gradient profiles. As application examples, we diagnose the polarization profiles of a radially polarized beam, an azimuthally polarized beam, and of a vortex beam.Comment: 20 pages, 6 figures

Purpose. To investigate the prevalence and some related factors about irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in medical students. Methods. A cross-sectional study was carried out from February 2014 to Jun 2014 in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China. All participants were asked to completed self-administered questionnaires. Results. Seven hundred and sixty-seven medical students (23.26±2.88 years, 25.6% males) completed the survey. The prevalence of IBS was 33.3%, with a high prevalence in women (36.1%). Among the IBS patients, 112 cases were IBS-M (43.9%) and 77.6% had moderately severe IBS. There were no statistical differences between control group and IBS patients in anxiety and depression scores (P>0.05). The total score of Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) was significantly higher for medical students with IBS and 35.5% of IBS patients had severe sleep disorder; the scores of child trauma questionnaire (CTQ) and student-life stress inventory (SLSI) were also higher in IBS patients. Sex and sleep disorder were independently associated with IBS (OR, 1.914, 95%CI, 1.281–2.860; OR, 1.143, 95%CI, 1.074–1.216). Conclusion. Our study has many valuable findings and they may provide valuable suggestions for the necessary intervention and treatment measures towards medical students

INTRODUCTION: Transformation from lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) to small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is one of the mechanisms responsible for acquired EGFR-TKIs resistance. Although it rarely happens this event determines a rapid disease deterioration and needs specific treatment. PATIENT AND METHOD: We report a case of 75-year-old LUAD female with a p.L858R mutation in Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) who presented with SCLC transformation after responding to first line osimertinib treatment for only 6 months. To understand the underlying molecular mechanism, we retrospectively sequenced the first (LUAD) and the second (SCLC) biopsy using a 56 multi-gene panel. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) was applied to confirm the genetic aberrations identified. RESULTS: EGFR p.E709A and p.L858R, Tumor Protein p53 (TP53) p.A159D and Retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) c.365-1G>A were detected in both the diagnostic LUAD and transformed SCLC samples. A high copy number gain for Proto-Oncogene C-Myc (MYC) and a Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase Alpha (PIK3CA) p.E545K mutation were found in the transformed sample specifically. Strong TP53 staining and negative RB1 staining were observed in both LUAD and SCLC samples, but FISH only identified MYC amplification in SCLC tissue. CONCLUSION: We consider the combined presence of MYC amplification with mutations in TP53 and RB1 as drivers of SCLC transformation. Our results highlight the need to systematically evaluate TP53 and RB1 status in LUAD patients to offer a different therapeutic strategy
