    Implant rahang jenis straight plate memiliki tingkat kebutuhan yang tinggi di indonesia. Saat ini proses pembuatan implan rahang menggunakan dua proses pemesinan, yaitu Electrical Discharge Machining jenis wire (wire-EDM) dan micro-milling. Dalam penelitian ini pembuatan implan rahang menggunakan satu proses pemesinan yaitu EDM jenis die-sinking (die-sinking EDM). Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menyelidiki pengaruh jenis material elektroda yaitu grafit dan tembaga terhadap Material Removal Rate (MRR) dan Electrode Wear Rate (EWR) dalam pembuatan implan rahang menggunakan proses die-sinking EDM. Proses die-sinking EDM menggunakan pulse current sebesar 9A dan sebagai material implan digunakan lembaran pure titaniuam grade 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan material elektroda grafit meningkatkan nilai MRR sebesar 76,92% dan menurunkan 50,48% nilai EWR dibandingkan penggunaan elektroda tembaga. Namun, pengunaan material elektroda grafit menyebabkan nilai kekerasan implan yang lebih lunak dibandingkan pengunaan material elektroda tembaga. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa die-sinking EDM dapat dijadikan alternatif proses untuk pembuatan implan rahang jenis straight plate

    Terdapat beberapa Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) dalam bidang pembuatan alat rumah tangga di desa Ngernak kabupaten Klaten dengan produk seperti dandang, dan panci. Salah satu proses pembuatan dandang dan panci adalah pembentukan plat menjadi tabung, proses ini masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk membentuk plat menjadi tabung. Dalam rangka mempercepat pembentukan plat menjadi tabung bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat roll plat. Metode VDI 2221 digunakan dalam penelitian dalam rangka mendesain alat roll plat, dimana perancangan komponen serta gaya pengerolan yang terjadi pada alat roll plat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan alat yang berukuran kecil dengan panjang sekitar 628 mm, lebar dan tinggi 485 mm dan 824 mm masing-masing. Desain alat ini tidak memerlukan tempat yang luas serta bisa dengan mudah di pindahkan. Alat ini digerakkan secara manual, dan ketebalan plat yang di rol maksimal sekitar 2 mm

    Effect of Heat Treatment Temperature on Hardness of Jaw Implant Produced from EDM Die-Sinking Process

    Hardness is the main problem in making jaw implants using the die-sinking EDM process. Heat treatment can increase the hardness of jaw implants resulting from the EDM process. This research investigates the influence of temperature during the heat treatment process on the hardness of jaw implants produced from the EDM process. Heat treatment uses a quenching process. The quenching temperatures used were 940, 950, and 960 ÂşC, while the holding time was 30 minutes. The aging temperature is 550 ÂşC. The research results show that the greater the quenching temperature, the greater the increase in hardness. The hardness of the white layer reaches 713 VHN when using a temperature of 960 ÂşC. Meanwhile, the hardness of the inner jaw implant reaches 354 VHN

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Fisika Online Prezi dalam Pokok Bahasan Alat Optik pada Siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Purworejo Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014

    Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan guna menghasilkan, mengetahui kelayakan media hasil pengembangan dan mengetahui respon peserta didik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Purworejo Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan, dengan desain pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: (1) tahap analisis; (2) tahap perencanaan; (3) tahap pengembangan dan produksi; (4) tahap uji coba implementasi; (5) tahap evaluasi. Validasi produk pengembangan mencakup (1) uji ahli media, (2) uji ahli materi, (3) uji guru Fisika dan (4) uji coba terbatas. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rerata skor dari ahli media sebesar 2,91, oleh ahli materi sebesar 3,30 dan guru Fisika sebesar 3,15 dengan interpretasi “baik” sehingga media ini layak sebagai media pembelajaran dengan sedikit revisi. Rerata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dari dua observer 93,30% dengan interpretasi “sangat baik”. Ketercapaian hasil belajar diperoleh rerata sebesar 90,75 untuk pos test sehingga secara klasikal sudah mencapai KKM (75). Respon peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan mendapat skor rata-rata 3,44 dengan interpretasi “baik”.     This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, motivation, work environment, organizational culture on performance both simultaneously and partially. Furthermore, to analyze the effect of performance on the performance of employees of the Land Office of Central Bangka Regency. The amount of sample determined is 30 employees of the Land Office of Central Bangka Regency. The research instrument used questionnaires, arranged on a scale of 1-5, score 1 for very poor responses and a score of 5 for excellent responses. The method of analysis using path analysis (Path analysis) trimming model. Hypothesis testing using F test (simultaneous) and t-test (partial).             The result of this research concludes that there is significant influence from the variable of leadership, motivation, work environment, organizational culture to motivation 97,3%. Furthermore, for performance variables, there is a positive and significant impact on employee performance which is seen from the coefficient of determination by 75 percent.     The Potential Roles of Gut Microbiome in Modulating the Immune Response of Asian Redtail Catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) Vaccinated with Aeromonas hydrophila

    The research aims are to observe the effect of vaccination in microbial profiles and gut microbiome composition. The treatments were as follows: the fishes were injected with PBS and challenged (A); the fishes were injected with freeze–dried vaccine dissolved in 100 ml 0.85% NaCl and challenged (B); the fishes were injected with freeze–dried vaccine dissolved in 50 ml 0.85% NaCl and challenged (C), and the fishes were injected with liquid vaccine and challenged (D). Microbiome composition measurements were carried out on the 21st–day post–vaccination and the 7th day after the challenge test. Fish intestine samples from three replications were tested by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). Two significant phyla were identified from all treatments, namely Proteobacteria and Firmicutes. Cetobacterium, Candidatus Bacilloplasma, and Clostridium sensu stricto were the genera classified as good bacteria in vaccinated fish. It can be concluded that vaccination can increase the diversity of the gut microbiome, especially bacteria beneficial to the fish host. Chitosan as a coating antigen in freeze–dried vaccine increases gut microbiome's number and diversity better than a liquid vaccine

    BACKGROUND: Dengue infection is a vector-born disease associated with endemic areas in the tropics and subtropics. Genetic factors that play a role such as mutations and polymorphisms that influence a person's susceptibility to dengue fever. AIM: This study aims to determine gene polymorphisms of vitamin D against dengue infection in children. MATERIAL AND METHODS: This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional design, where the dependent and independent variables were examined at the same time in pediatric patients who were hospitalized with clinical symptoms of dengue infection at Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi and Baiturrahim Jambi Hospital who met the inclusion criteria with positive anti-dengue IgM. and or positive anti-dengue IgG in children aged less than two years to eighteen years. RESULT: The results showed that the relationship between patients who have polymorphisms in one of the vitamin D receptor genes will experience heavier dengue infection than those who do not have polymorphisms in the vitamin D receptor gene and this difference is statistically significan (p= 0.005). CONCLUSION: This study concluded that there was a relationship between vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms and the degree of dengue virus infection. Keywords: Dengue infection in children, Vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms, vitamin D leve

    Pharmacophore Analysis of Monoterpene Melaleuca leucadendra as an Inhibitor for 3CLPro of the SARS-CoV-2

    The monoterpene compound has been reported to have antiviral activities . This study aimed to test the monoterpene compound in Melaleuca leucadendra to inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The monoterpenes tested were α-Pinene, β-Pinene, Linalool, α-Terpineol, and Terpinene-4-Ol. The method used was computational through pharmacophore analysis. The indicator for the quality of the compound was the fit score. A fit score of more than 50% indicates a good-quality compound, while a fit score of less than that indicates a  poor-quality compound. Based on the analysis results, the monoterpene compound in Melaleuca leucadendra can potentially inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 virus directly through the inhibition of 3C-like protease. The linalool showed a fit score of 55% with interactions of hydrophobic, electrostatic, and hydrogen bonds. All the compounds did not inhibit the metabolic process and were safe, possibly having no side effects based on ADMET analysis
