    Fatores críticos de sucesso como antecedentes da aceitação de um sistema de informação em uma universidade federal

    In recent decades the public sector comes under pressure in order to improve its performance. The use of Information Technology (IT) has been a tool increasingly used in reaching that goal. Thus, it has become an important issue in public organizations, particularly in institutions of higher education, determine which factors influence the acceptance and use of technology, impacting on the success of its implementation and the desired organizational results. The Technology Acceptance Model - TAM was used as the basis for this study and is based on the constructs perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. However, when it comes to integrated management systems due to the complexity of its implementation,organizational factors were added to thus seek further explanation of the acceptance of such systems. Thus, added to the model five TAM constructs related to critical success factors in implementing ERP systems, they are: support of top management, communication, training, cooperation, and technological complexity (BUENO and SALMERON, 2008). Based on the foregoing, launches the following research problem: What factors influence the acceptance and use of SIE / module academic at the Federal University of Para, from the users' perception of teachers and technicians? The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of organizational factors, and behavioral antecedents of behavioral intention to use the SIE / module academic UFPA in the perspective of teachers and technical users. This is applied research, exploratory and descriptive, quantitative with the implementation of a survey, and data collection occurred through a structured questionnaire applied to a sample of 229 teachers and 30 technical and administrative staff. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling with the technique of partial least squares (PLS). Effected primarily to assess the measurement model, which were verified reliability, convergent and discriminant validity for all indicators and constructs. Then the structural model was analyzed using the bootstrap resampling technique like. In assessing statistical significance, all hypotheses were supported. The coefficient of determination (R ²) was high or average in five of the six endogenous variables, so the model explains 47.3% of the variation in behavioral intention. It is noteworthy that among the antecedents of behavioral intention (BI) analyzed in this study, perceived usefulness is the variable that has a greater effect on behavioral intention, followed by ease of use (PEU) and attitude (AT). Among the organizational aspects (critical success factors) studied technological complexity (TC) and training (ERT) were those with greatest effect on behavioral intention to use, although these effects were lower than those produced by behavioral factors (originating from TAM). It is pointed out further that the support of senior management (TMS) showed, among all variables, the least effect on the intention to use (BI) and was followed by communications (COM) and cooperation (CO), which exert a low effect on behavioral intention (BI). Therefore, as other studies on the TAM constructs were adequate for the present research. Thus, the study contributed towards proving evidence that the Technology Acceptance Model can be applied to predict the acceptance of integrated management systems, even in public. A utilização da Tecnologia da Informação (TI) tem sido uma ferramenta cada vez mais empregada na tentativa de alcançar esse objetivo. Dessa forma, passou a ser uma importante questão nas organizações públicas, e em particular nas instituições de ensino superior, verificar quais fatores influenciam a aceitação e o uso da tecnologia, impactando no sucesso de sua implementação e nos resultados organizacionais almejados. O Modelo de Aceitação da Tecnologia TAM foi utilizado como base para o presente estudo e fundamenta-se nos construtos utilidade percebida e facilidade de uso percebida. No entanto, quando se trata de sistemas integrados de gestão, devido à complexidade de sua implantação, acrescentaram-se fatores organizacionais para assim buscar maior explicação da aceitação desses sistemas. Assim, acrescentaram-se ao modelo TAM cinco construtos relacionados aos fatores críticos de sucesso na implementação de sistemas ERP, são eles: apoio da alta administração, comunicação, treinamento, cooperação, e complexidade tecnológica (BUENO e SALMERON, 2008). Com base no exposto, lança-se o seguinte problema de pesquisa: quais fatores influenciam a aceitação e uso do SIE/módulo acadêmico na Universidade Federal do Pará, a partir da percepção dos usuários técnicos e docentes? O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi identificar a influência de fatores organizacionais e comportamentais como antecedentes da intenção comportamental de uso do SIE/módulo acadêmico na UFPA sob a perspectiva dos usuários docentes e técnicos. A presente pesquisa é aplicada, exploratória e descritiva, de natureza quantitativa com a aplicação de um survey, e a coleta de dados se deu por meio de questionário estruturado aplicado a uma amostra composta por 229 docentes e 30 técnico-administrativos. A análise de dados se deu através de estatísticas descritivas e modelagem de equação estrutural com a técnica de mínimos quadros parciais (Partial Least Square-PLS). Primeiramente efetuou-se a avaliação do modelo de mensuração, no qual foram verificadas a confiabilidade, validade convergente e discriminante para todos os indicadores e construtos. Em seguida, o modelo estrutural foi analisado, com a utilização de bootstrap como técnica de reamostragem. Na avaliação das significâncias estatísticas, todas as hipóteses formuladas foram suportadas. O coeficiente de determinação (R²) foi considerado alto ou médio em 5 das 6 variáveis endógenas, assim o modelo consegue explicar 47,3% da variação da intenção comportamental. Ressalta-se que, dentre os antecedentes da intenção comportamental (BI) analisados no presente estudo, utilidade percebida é a variável que possui maior efeito sobre a intenção comportamental, seguida pela facilidade de uso (PEU) e a atitude (AT). Dentre os aspectos organizacionais (fatores críticos de sucesso) estudados, complexidade tecnológica (TC) e treinamento (TRE) foram aqueles com maior efeito sobre a intenção comportamental de usar, apesar desses efeitos serem inferiores aos produzidos pelos fatores comportamentais (originários do TAM). Destaca-se, ainda, que o apoio da alta administração (TMS) apresentou, entre todas as variáveis, o menor efeito sobre a intenção de usar (BI) e foi seguida pela comunicação (COM) e cooperação (CO), as quais exercem um baixo efeito sobre a intenção comportamental (BI). Portanto, conforme outros estudos, os construtos relativos ao TAM mostraram-se adequados para a presente pesquisa. Dessa maneira, o estudo contribuiu no sentido de demonstrar indícios de que o Modelo de Aceitação da Tecnologia pode ser aplicado à predição da aceitação de sistemas integrados de gestão, mesmo em organizações públicas

A coleta de dados se deu por meio de questionário estruturado que foi aplicado a uma amostra composta por 229 docentes e 30 técnicoadministrativos da Universidade Federal do Pará. A análise de dados foi realizada através de estatísticas descritivas e de modelagem de equação estrutural com a técnica de mínimos quadrados parciais (Partial Least Square-PLS). Todas as hipóteses do modelo de pesquisa foram suportadas. O coeficiente de determinação (R²) foi considerado alto ou médio em cinco das seis variáveis endógenas, assim como o modelo conseguiu explicar 47,3% da variação da intenção comportamental de uso de um ERP. O estudo contribuiu no sentido de demonstrar que o ‘apoio da alta administração’, a ‘comunicação’, o ‘treinamento’, a ‘cooperação’ e a ‘complexidade tecnológica’ são fatores críticos relevantes que influenciam a intenção de uso futuro de sistemas integrados de gestão, mesmo no contexto de uma organização pública.Palavras-chave: Modelo de aceitação da tecnologia (TAM).     患者の回復過程を支える社会復帰援助プログラムの有効性と無効性の検討

    本研究の目的は,社会復帰援助プログラム(キングの目標達成理論とオレム・アンダーウッドのセルフケア理論に基づき,筆者が作成したプログラム)を通して看護面談を実施した2事例について,社会生活を維持したケースと再入院に至ったケースにおける看護介入とその介入による患者の回復過程の変化を比較し,社会復帰支援にとっての本プログラムの有効性や無効性の観点から,今後のプログラムの在り方を検討することである.面談中の会話の内容,自我得点,ラザルス式SCIの結果をデータとし,分析した結果,「自己洞察力の有無」と「現実直面の機会の有無」が患者の社会生活維持に影響をおよぼしていたことが明らかになった.したがって,自己洞察力を深める「語りの場」の提供をすること,そして重要他者も含めた包括的かかわりの実践により,患者の現実直面の機会を提供することが本プログラムの有効性を高めるという示唆が得られた.The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the rehabilitation care program (made by the researcher by modifying King\u27s theory of goal attainment and Orem-Underwood\u27s theory of self care), by comparing two cases who were given nursing counseling throughout this program. Nursing counseling was provided to two schizophrenia patients who were determined to be discharged from a hospital after a relapse. Data was collected from conversation during nursing counseling sessions, ego strength scores and Lazarus stress coping inventory scores. As a result of analyzing data, it was identified that "deepening insight" and "an opportunity of facing reality" exerted an influence on their ability to continue living in a community. Therefore, the above result indicated that the effectiveness of this program would be increased by providing \u27narrative occasion\u27 in order to deepen insight and opportunity of facing reality through assertive care including a patients\u27 key person

    Psychological characteristics of Japanese patients with chronic pain assessed by the Rorschach test

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>The increasing number of patients with chronic pain in Japan has become a major issue in terms of the patient's quality of life, medical costs, and related social problems. Pain is a multi-dimensional experience with physiological, affective, cognitive, behavioral and social components, and recommended to be managed via a combination of bio-psycho-social aspects. However, a biomedical approach is still the dominant method of pain treatment in Japan. The current study aimed to evaluate comprehensive psychological functions and processes in Japanese chronic pain patients.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>The Rorschach Comprehensive System was administered to 49 in-patients with non-malignant chronic pain. Major variables and frequencies from the test were then compared to normative data from non-patient Japanese adults by way of the t-test and chi-square test.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>Patients exhibited high levels of emotional distress with a sense of helplessness with regard to situational stress, confusion, and ambivalent feelings. These emotions were managed by the patients in an inappropriate manner. Cognitive functions resulted in moderate dysfunction in all stages. Information processing tended to focus upon minute features in an inflexible manner. Mediational dysfunction was likely to occur with unstable affective conditions. Ideation was marked by pessimistic and less effective thinking. Since patients exhibited negative self-perception, their interpersonal relationship skills tended to be ineffective. Originally, our patients displayed average psychological resources for control, stress tolerance, and social skills for interpersonal relationships. However, patient coping styles were either situation- or emotion-dependent, and patients were more likely to exhibit emotional instability influenced by external stimuli, resulting in increased vulnerability to pain.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>Data gathered from the Rorschach test suggested psychological approaches to support chronic pain patients that are likely to be highly beneficial, and we thus recommend their incorporation into the course of current pain treatments.</p

    Quantum Back Reaction to asymptotically AdS Black Holes

    We analyze the effects of the back reaction due to a conformal field theory (CFT) on a black hole spacetime with negative cosmological constant. We study the geometry numerically obtained by taking into account the energy momentum tensor of CFT approximated by a radiation fluid. We find a sequence of configurations without a horizon in thermal equilibrium (CFT stars), followed by a sequence of configurations with a horizon. We discuss the thermodynamic properties of the system and how back reaction effects alter the space-time structure. We also provide an interpretation of the above sequence of solutions in terms of the AdS/CFT correspondence. The dual five-dimensional description is given by the Karch-Randall model, in which a sequence of five-dimensional floating black holes followed by a sequence of brane localized black holes correspond to the above solutions.Comment: 13 pages, 10 figure

    Web会議システム(Zoom)を利用した同時双方向遠隔教育の試験的実践

     昨今の新型コロナウイルスの蔓延によって、これまでのような対面式授業が実施しづらくなり、オンライン授業に変更せざるを得ない状況になっている。学習者と教師の双方にとって、いわば未知の領域であるオンライン授業においても、より良い教育を提供するため、基礎的な環境整備のあり方をはじめとして、Web会議システムの使用感やオンライン授業の現状と課題を整理しておくことが重要である。さらに学習者(とその保護者)が対面式授業とオンライン授業の長短についてどのように受け止めているかに関する幅広い知見の蓄積と共有が喫緊の課題でもある。そこで、Web会議システム(主としてZoom)を利用した同時双方向遠隔教育の試験的実践を行い、対面式授業とオンライン授業の長短について調べるために、学習者(とその保護者)に質問紙調査を実施し、オンライン授業の学習者の受け止め方と、オンライン授業に対する教員の側の創意工夫に対する学習者の反応を明らかにすることを試みた

    社会参加を支える施設での実習を通しての学生の学び : 看護者としての学びに焦点を当てて

    本研究の目的は、精神看護学実習を履修した学生84名を対象に、学生の記録から、病院実習後に社会参加を支える施設での精神科看護学実習を展開することで、学生が看護の機能についていかなる学びを得ているのかを分析し、今後の教育内容を検討していく際の基礎資料を得ることである。学生の実習課題レポートを分析した結果、184の記録単位が抽出され、5つのコアカテゴリが形成された。学生の学びは、「対象者の社会参加に関する看護の機能」「対象者と看護者の相互作用」「病状コントロールに関する看護の機能」「対象者を取り巻く環境に関する看護の機能」「対象者の生活スキルに関する看護の機能」であった。社会参加を支える施設での実習を通して、学生は社会生活を送っている精神障害者と関わり、その中から、対象者に対して社会参加を意識しながら入院時から看護者が看護を展開していく重要性を学んでいた。そして、対個人との関係性だけではなく、社会や行政への働きかけまで、広い視野から精神科看護についての学びを得る機会となっていた。The aim of this study is to analyse what students learned from psychiatric nursing practice at community-based institutions in order to obtain materials to improve our teaching. Records from 84 students were examined, 184 record units were extracted and 5 core-categories of students\u27 learning ( ) were composed. Through practice at community based institutions, students interacted with people with mental illness who were living in a community and learned the importance of providing nursing that is aiming for their rehabilitation. This method of practice gave an opportunity for students to gain wider perspective psychiatric nursing, such as for individual and society as a whole

    The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) provides life-saving humanitarian aid for 5·4 million Palestine refugees now entering their eighth decade of statelessness and conflict. About a third of Palestine refugees still live in 58 recognised camps. UNRWA operates 702 schools and 144 health centres, some of which are affected by the ongoing humanitarian disasters in Syria and the Gaza Strip. It has dramatically reduced the prevalence of infectious diseases, mortality, and illiteracy. Its social services include rebuilding infrastructure and homes that have been destroyed by conflict and providing cash assistance and micro-finance loans for Palestinians whose rights are curtailed and who are denied the right of return to their homeland
