Bis(2,2′-bipyridine-κ2 N,N′)(3,5-dinitro-2-oxidobenzoato-κ2 O 1,O 2)cobalt(II)
In the title compound, [Co(C7H2N2O7)(C10H8N2)2], the CoII atom is coordinated by four N atoms from two 2,2′-bipyridine ligands and two O atoms from a 3,5-dinitro-2-oxidobenzoate ligand, displaying a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The crystal structure involves C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the 2,2′-bipyridine ligands and the carboxylate and NO2 groups of the 3,5-dinitro-2-oxidobenzoate ligand
A simulation study on the measurement of D0-D0bar mixing parameter y at BES-III
We established a method on measuring the \dzdzb mixing parameter for
BESIII experiment at the BEPCII collider. In this method, the doubly
tagged events, with one decays to
CP-eigenstates and the other decays semileptonically, are used to
reconstruct the signals. Since this analysis requires good separation,
a likelihood approach, which combines the , time of flight and the
electromagnetic shower detectors information, is used for particle
identification. We estimate the sensitivity of the measurement of to be
0.007 based on a fully simulated MC sample.Comment: 6 pages, 7 figure
The Bone-Protecting Efficiency of Chinese Medicines Compared With Western Medicines in Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Comparative Studies
Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a systemic autoimmune disease leading to joint destruction. The prevention of bone and cartilage destruction has received increased attention in recent years. Objective: To evaluate the current evidences regarding the bone-protecting efficacy of Chinese medicine or the combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine for RA.Methods: We comprehensively searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library (www.thecochranelibrary.com), the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals (VIP), and SinoMed. We then performed a systematic review and cumulative meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the two therapy methods. Results: Sixteen studies including 1,171 patients were included in the final analysis. The results showed that Chinese medicine could significantly improve the bone mineral density (BMD) (mean difference [MD] = 0.05 /g·cm−2, 95% CI [0.03, 0.08], P < 0.00001), and decrease the serum matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP-3) ([SMD] = −2.84, 95% CI [−4.22, −1.47], P < 0.0001).Conclusions: Chinese medicine may provide an efficiently alternative choice for the treatment of RA in terms of the bone-protecting efficiency. Given the inherent limitations of the included studies, future well-designed RCTs are required to confirm and update the findings of this analysis
Estimation of lead and zinc emissions from mineral exploitation based on characteristics of lead/zinc deposits in China
Observation of a charged charmoniumlike structure in at GeV
We study the process at a
center-of-mass energy of 4.26GeV using a 827pb data sample obtained with
the BESIII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider. Based on a
partial reconstruction technique, the Born cross section is measured to be
pb. We observe a structure near the
threshold in the recoil mass spectrum, which we denote as the
. The measured mass and width of the structure are
MeV/c and MeV, respectively. Its
production ratio is determined to be . The first uncertainties
are statistical and the second are systematic.Comment: 7 pages, 4 figures, 1 table; version accepted to be published in PR
Measurement of azimuthal asymmetries in inclusive charged dipion production in annihilations at = 3.65 GeV
We present a measurement of the azimuthal asymmetries of two charged pions in
the inclusive process based on a data set of 62
at the center-of-mass energy GeV collected with
the BESIII detector. These asymmetries can be attributed to the Collins
fragmentation function. We observe a nonzero asymmetry, which increases with
increasing pion momentum. As our energy scale is close to that of the existing
semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering experimental data, the measured
asymmetries are important inputs for the global analysis of extracting the
quark transversity distribution inside the nucleon and are valuable to explore
the energy evolution of the spin-dependent fragmentation function.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure
Search for the Lepton Flavor Violation Process at BESIII
We search for the lepton-flavor-violating decay of the into an
electron and a muon using events
collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. Four candidate
events are found in the signal region, consistent with background expectations.
An upper limit on the branching fraction of (90% C.L.) is obtained
Measurement of the Cross Section between 600 and 900 MeV Using Initial State Radiation
We extract the cross section in the energy
range between 600 and 900 MeV, exploiting the method of initial state
radiation. A data set with an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb taken at
a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII
collider is used. The cross section is measured with a systematic uncertainty
of 0.9%. We extract the pion form factor as well as the
contribution of the measured cross section to the leading order hadronic vacuum
polarization contribution to . We find this value to be

Search for Baryonic Decays of \psi(3770) and \psi(4040)
By analyzing data samples of 2.9 fb^{-1} collected at \sqrt s=3.773 GeV, 482
pb^{-1} collected at \sqrt s=4.009 GeV and 67 pb^{-1} collected at \sqrt
s=3.542, 3.554, 3.561, 3.600 and 3.650 GeV with the BESIII detector at the
BEPCII storage ring, we search for \psi(3770) and \psi(4040) decay to baryonic
final states, including \Lambda\bar\Lambda\pi^+\pi^-, \Lambda \bar\Lambda\pi^0,
\Lambda\bar\Lambda\eta, \Sigma^+ \bar\Sigma^-, \Sigma^0 \bar\Sigma^0,
\Xi^-\bar\Xi^+ and \Xi^0\bar\Xi^0 decays. None are observed, and upper limits
are set at the 90% confidence level.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figure
Study of
We present an analysis of the decay based
on data collected by the BESIII experiment at the resonance. Using
a nearly background-free sample of 18262 events, we measure the branching
fraction . For GeV/ the partial branching fraction is
. A partial wave analysis shows that the dominant
component is accompanied by an \emph{S}-wave contribution accounting for
of the total rate and that other components are
negligible. The parameters of the resonance and of the
form factors based on the spectroscopic pole dominance predictions are also
measured. We also present a measurement of the helicity
basis form factors in a model-independent way.Comment: 17 pages, 6 figure
