Current educational practice of alternative schools for misbehaved students in China

Based on the field study conducted at Beijing Haidian Boarding School ( BHBS ), the author of this research report attempts to uncover the myths of the current alternative school educational system in China. Through my one-month visit at BHBS and her personal experiences gained from my contacts with the students, the teachers and the parents, the author attempts to understand the pros and cons of the current alternative school system in China. This research focuses on relationships among students, teachers, and parents, and uncovers factors that interfere with good relationships. By understanding the nature of the issues involved in the current system, the author tries to find meaningful solutions to enhance the quality of the current alternative school system in China

A preferred vision for administering elementary/secondary schools : a reflective essay

All students need a safe and nurturing environment to receive a quality education. Principals should treat students as individuals judged by their character and learning style as well as their capabilities. To be an effective administrator and to establish a strong foundation, the principles of the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL) are used as guides. I will discuss each of the ISSL principles and explain how they influence my philosophy of educational leadership

La relación entre la aplicación del principio de oportunidad y el delito de omisión a la asistencia familiar, en la Primera Fiscalía Provincial Penal Corporativa de Tarapoto, 2019

The purpose of this study is to determine what is the relationship between the application of the principle of opportunity and the crime of omission to family assistance in the First Provincial Criminal Prosecutor's Office of Tarapoto, 2019. The research carried out is of an applied type, explanatory level, non-experimental design; where the study sample consisted of 73 fiscal folders; applying as information gathering techniques the documentary analysis and as an instrument the document analysis sheet; being the variables subjected to the study: the principle of opportunity and the crime of omission to family assistance, in order to determine what was the existing relationship between both, the same ones that resulted: high and significant, defined by the correlational statistic of Pearson that assumes a value of 0.814 with a significance level of 0.01, and also shows that the application of the principle of opportunity in cases of omission to Family assistance achieves 100% effectiveness of payment, that is, approximately 8 of Every 10 cases the payment of the pensions owed is fulfilled immediately and in full, with only a kind of non-uniformity regarding the characteristics of those who are accused of the crime of omission of family assistance.El presente estudio tiene como finalidad determinar cuál es la relación existente entre la aplicación del principio de oportunidad y el delito de omisión a la asistencia familiar; en la Primera Fiscalía Provincial Penal Corporativa de Tarapoto, 2019. La investigación realizada es de  tipo aplicada, nivel explicativo, diseño no experimental; donde la muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 73 carpetas fiscales; aplicando como técnicas de recojo de información el análisis documental y como instrumento la ficha de análisis documental; siendo las variables sometidas al estudio: el principio de oportunidad y el delito de omisión a la asistencia familiar, a fin de determinar cuál era la relación existente entre ambas, las mismas que dieron como resultado: alta y significada, definida por el estadístico del correlacional de Pearson que asume un valor de 0.814 con un nivel de significancia de 0.01, y asimismo muestran  que la aplicación del principio de oportunidad en los casos de omisión a la asistencia Familiar  logra un 100% de efectividad del pago, es decir que aproximadamente 8 de cada 10 casos se cumple con el pago de las pensiones adeudadas  de forma inmediata y total, existiendo solo una suerte de no uniformidad respecto a las características de quienes se encuentran en calidad de imputados en el delito de omisión a la asistencia familiar

Engagement para fortalecer el desempeño laboral del personal administrativo de la Clínica San Juan de Dios – 2021

La presente tesis tuvo como finalidad elaborar una propuesta de engagement para fortalecer el desempeño laboral del personal administrativo de la Clínica San Juan de Dios – 2021. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada, ya que se pretende implementar una propuesta para reducir la problemática. A la vez es propositivo, dado que se plantea una propuesta como alternativa de solución. El diseño fue no experimental – transversal, puesto que no se manipulan variables y se recoge información en un solo momento. La población estuvo conformada por 133 colaboradores quienes laboran en el área administrativa. Como técnica se implementaron encuestas, y como instrumentos, cuestionarios estructurados en escala Likert. Entre los principales resultados se obtuvo que el 38% se encuentra en un nivel Medio respecto a engagement, lo que origina que no se sientan muy comprometidos con cumplir los objetivos establecidos por la organización. Por otro lado, el 35% se encuentra en un nivel Medio referente a desempeño laboral, lo que genera que su rendimiento no sea el más óptimo y no cumplan con sus labores de forma eficiente. Finalmente, como conclusión, se elaboró una propuesta de engagement para fortalecer el desempeño laboral del personal administrativo de la Clínica San Juan de Dios

Research on the application design of new media in modern museum interior display

This paper introduces the research results of new media application design in modern museum interior display. The purpose is to explore a feasible use of new media technology to better promote the exchange and mutual learning of human civilization museum interior display design scheme or design concept. In the study of the development history of museum display design and the realization trend of cultural value, it is determined that using new media to design narrative virtual tour can attract people who hate passive indoctrination to explore actively. Preparation of Edible Corn Starch Phosphate with Highly Reactive Sodium Tripolyphosphate in the Absence of Catalyst

Purpose: To prepare edible corn starch phosphate under optimized experimental conditions.Methods: Edible corn starch phosphate was prepared via the reaction of starch with active sodium tripolyphosphate. Reaction efficiency and viscosity were used as indices to optimize experimental conditions. Freeze-thaw stability and transparency of starch phosphate and native starch were comparatively studied.Results: Starch phosphate with optimal combined phosphate content (0.39 %) was obtained under optimized conditions: reaction duration, 90 min; temperature, 160 oC; pH, 5.0; and phosphate, 1.5 g. Starch phosphate with optimal viscosity (230 cp) was obtained under different conditions: reaction duration, 120 min; temperature, 140 oC; pH, 6.0; and phosphate, 1.5 g. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were observed in syneresis and paste transparency of starch phosphate and native starch.Conclusion: Edible corn starch phosphate has been successfully prepared under optimized experimental conditions whose freeze-thaw stability and paste transparency has obvious improvement compared with native starch.Keywords: Starch phosphate, Combined phosphate, Sodium tripolyphosphate, Syneresis, Paste efficienc
