    Factors Affecting Lawyers Adoption to Live Broadcast Platforms

    For many industries, live broadcasting is a free and efficient way to advertise. It has become a dedicated advertising channel for law firms to obtain clients. However, some platforms cannot provide reliable services for lawyers' live broadcasting and their features are disappointing. In order to promote the live broadcast platform to better serve lawyers, this study tries to find out factors that influencing lawyers' adoption of live broadcasting platforms. Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was extended by trust factor to form the research model. Survey was distributed among law firms in China and Smart-PLS was used to analyse research data. The empirical results indicated that all the factors were positively related to lawyers’ adoption to live broadcast platforms. The findings and recommendations aim to improve the cooperation efficiency between live broadcast platforms and lawyers, and increase the client acquisition rate of law firms

    Kosterlitz-Thouless melting of magnetic order in the triangular quantum Ising material TmMgGaO4

    Frustrated magnets hold the promise of material realizations of exotic phases of quantum matter, but direct comparisons of unbiased model calculations with experimental measurements remain very challenging. Here we design and implement a protocol of employing many-body computation methodologies for accurate model calculations-of both equilibrium and dynamical properties-for a frustrated rare-earth magnet TmMgGaO4 (TMGO), which explains the corresponding experimental findings. Our results confirm TMGO is an ideal realization of triangular-lattice Ising model with an intrinsic transverse field. The magnetic order of TMGO is predicted to melt through two successive Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) phase transitions, with a floating KT phase in between. The dynamical spectra calculated suggest remnant images of a vanishing magnetic stripe order that represent vortex-antivortex pairs, resembling rotons in a superfluid helium film. TMGO therefore constitutes a rare quantum magnet for realizing KT physics, and we further propose experimental detection of its intriguing properties. TmMgGaO4 is one of a number of recently-synthesized quantum magnets that are proposed to realize important theoretical models.     Pringle manoeuvre versus selective hepatic vascular exclusion in partial hepatectomy for tumours adjacent to the hepatocaval junction: A randomized comparative study

    AbstractObjectiveTo compare the efficacy of selective hepatic vascular exclusion versus Pringle manoeuvre in partial hepatectomy for tumours adjacent to the hepatocaval junction.MethodsA randomized comparative trial was carried out. The primary endpoint was intraoperative blood loss. The secondary endpoints were operation time, blood transfusion, postoperative liver function recovery, procedure-related morbidity and in-hospital mortality.Results160 patients were randomized into 2 groups: the Pringle manoeuvre group (n = 80) and the selective hepatic vascular exclusion (SHVE) group (n = 80). Intraoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements were significantly less in the SHVE group. In the SHVE group, laceration of hepatic veins happened in 18 patients. Profuse intraoperative blood loss of over 2 L happened in 2 patients but no patient suffered from air embolism because the hepatic veins were controlled. In the Pringle group, the hepatic veins were lacerated in 20 patients, with profuse blood loss of over 2 L in 7 patients and air embolism in 3 patients. The rates of postoperative bleeding, reoperation, liver failure and mortality were significantly higher and the ICU stay and hospital stay were significantly longer in the Pringle group.ConclusionsSHVE was more efficacious than Pringle manoeuvre for partial hepatectomy in patients with tumours adjacent to the hepatocaval junction

    Background:Kidney tonifying - spleen strengthening method being one of the modalities for treatment of astheno-oligozoospermia is currently commonly used in the clinical setting. To investigate the mechanism of YiShenJianPi (YSJP) Recipe, used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to benefit “the kidney” and strengthen “the spleen”.Materials and Methods: Oligoasthenozoospermia, male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into normal control, disease model, positive control, low-dosage and high-dosage groups. Oligoasthenozoospermia was induced by tripterygium glucosides intragastric administration before treatment started.Through using computer-aided sperm analysis to test the changes in sperm quality, utilizing flow cytometry to test the percentage of sperm with normal mitochondrial transmembrane potential (JC-1 + %), utilizing X-ray microscopy to observe epididymal sperm ultra-microstructure placing special emphasis and photographing the differences in mitochondria of the flagellum region.Results: Compared with DM, sperm quality of the treated mice was significantly better (P<0.05, respectively). Compared with PC, the LD group had significantly better quality sperms, while the parameters in the HD group were numerically better. Compared with NC, all other groups had significantly lower percentage of sperms with normal mitochondrial membrane potential. In PC, LD and HD groups, the percentage of sperms with normal mitochondrial membrane potential was significantly higher than that of D. The 9+9+2 mitochondrial sheath structure was complete in NC but damaged in DM. In the treatment groups, this structure was fairly clear.Conclusion: YSJP improved semen quality with oligoasthenozoospermia by improving sperm mitochondrial membrane potential and restoring sperm mitochondrial ultrastructure.Keywords: traditional Chinese medicine, oligoasthenozoospermia, semen quality, mitochondrial membrane potential, mitochondrial ultrastructur

    IRAS F13308+5946: A Possible Transition Phase From Type I ULIRG To Optical Quasar

    We present a stellar population synthesis study of a type I luminous infrared galaxy (LIRG): IRAS F13308+5946. It is a quasar with absolute magnitude Mi = -22.56 and has a spectral feature of a Seyfert 1.5 galaxy. Optical images show characteristics of later stages of a merger. With the help of the stellar synthesis code STARLIGHT (Cid Fernandes et al. 2005) and both Calzetti et al. (2000) and Leitherer et al.'s (2002) extinction curves, we estimate the past infrared (IR) luminosities of the host galaxy and find it may have experienced an ultraluminous infrared galaxy (ULIRG) phase for nearly 300 Myr, so this galaxy has probably experienced a type I ULIRG phase. Both nuclear starburst and active galactic nuclei (AGN) contribute to the present IR luminosity budget, and starburst contributes ~70%. The mass of supermassive black-hole (SMBH) is M_BH = 1.8*10^8 M_sun and the Eddington ratio L_bol/L_Edd is 0.12, which both approximate to typical values of PG QSOs. These results indicate that IRAS F13308+5946 is probably at the transitional phase from a type I ULIRG to a classical QSO.Comment: 11 pages, 10 figures, Accepted for publication in Ap
