    MENGUKUR HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STAD (STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION)

    Implementation of the teaching and learning process in general still use conventional learning models so as to result in low mathematics learning outcomes of students, especially in the surrounding material and flat building area. This study aimed to measure the differences in learning outcomes of class IV students through STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model and conventional learning. This study used quasi-experimental quantitative research design by looking at the differences in mathematical value results in pre-test and post-test between control class and experimental class. Based on the data analysis, the results of the study showed that there were differences in the learning outcomes of mathematics students of class IV who use the learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and conventional learning. This was evidenced by the average value of the control class which increased by 9.88% from 54.36 to 64.24 while the average value of the class in the experimental class reached 24.92% from 55.80 to 80.72

    MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MEDIA KUBUS BERANAK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

    The lack of use of instructional media on the volume material for building cubic spaces in mathematics learning for grade 5 elementary schools. This study aimed to improve students' learning motivation on the volume material of cubes through learning media cubes beranak in mathematics learning in grade 5 elementary school. This research procedure used the ADDIE model development design consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The increasing of students learning motivation before and after using childbirth cube media based on questionnaire. The results of this study showed that the level of validity of this media based on the evaluation of material experts 81,6% with very valid validity criteria, 72,5% media experts with valid validity criteria, 89,3% expert learning implementation plan with very valid validity criteria, Expert Student Worksheet 91,6% with validity criteria very valid. Student responses to child cube media obtained an average value of 81,1% with a very good assessment category, the teacher's response to child cube media obtained a value of 100% with a very good assessment category.     PENGEMBANGAN PRISMA KATA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran prisma kata bergambar yang valid digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi Bahasa Indonesia, serta untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa melalui implementasi media pembelajaran prisma kata bergambar. Agar pembelajaran semakin efektif dan efisien serta mampu meningkatkan antusias dalam proses belajar mengajar, dan tidak membuat siswa bosan saat proses pembelajaran dengan adanya media pembelajaran ini dapat mendukung pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini,  peneliti menggunakan penelitian jenis RnD (Research and Development). Produk yang dikembangkan adalah benda hidup dan tak hidup di sekitarku. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall yang memiliki 10 tahapan akan tetapi diseminasi tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan biaya dan waktu. Kemampuan membaca diukur dengan hasil pretest dan posttest sedangkan respon siswa diukur melalui data hasil wawancara kepada siswa kelas I di SD Negeri 1 Randugading. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran PRISKABAR valid diperoleh persentase 95%. Respon siswa juga meningkat, hal ini dilihat dari hasil wawancara terhadap siswa terkait penggunaan media PRISKABAR.  Serta untuk hasil pretest dan posttest diperoleh persentase 84% yang menunjukkan kemampuan membaca siswa meningkat dengan materi benda hidup dan tak hidup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disarankan bagi pihak sekolah maupun guru untuk memaksimalkan dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran sebagai media pendukung proses belajar mengajar

    Electroacupuncture for children with autism spectrum disorder: Pilot study of 2 cases

    Objective: The objective of this study was to observe for efficacy, safety, and compliance of electroacupuncture for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Methods: Two (2) children with ASD received electroacupuncture for 24 sessions over 8 weeks and were assessed pre- and postacupuncture. We defined a positive or negative change as an improvement or deterioration of 25%, respectively, in total score or any subscales of Aberrant Behavioral Checklist (ABC), Ritvo-Freeman Real Life Scale (RFRLS), WeeFIM,® and as a rating of much improved or much worse on the Clinical Global Impression-Improvement (CGI-I) scale. Results: For ABC, positive changes in "Irritability" and "Stereotypy" was noted in case 1 but no changes occurred for case 2. For RFRLS, positive changes were found for both cases in "Sensory motor," "Sensory response," and "Total score," although negative change was noted for case 2 in "Affectual response." For WeeFIM®, there were no positive or negative changes in both cases. For CGI-I, positive change in case 1 with much improved in "Social relatedness, Communication, and Stereotypy behavior" was reported.     Multimodality in Audio-Verbo-Visual Translation

    Until the end of the 20th century, a part of applied linguistics, translation still focuses primarily on verbal rendering. Language elements are explored extensively in translationstudies.Theexplorationsincludeconceptsofequivalence,shift,modulation, and untranslatability. That texts are not only in the form of verbal languages but also audio, visual, gestural, and digital ones has triggered translation studies to explain phenomenaarisingfromtherenderingofintersemiotictexts.Thisstudyaimstoexplain the application of multimodality in the translation of verbo-visual text including the degree of accuracy, naturalness, and acceptability of Indonesian texts translated from English. The object of this study is English Audio-verbo-visual texts and their translationsinIndonesian.Thetypesoftextsinquestionincludevarioustextualgenres commonly existing in dubbing, subtitling, comic and comic rendering. The data for this study were obtained through documentatary studies and were analyzed using the conceptofphenomenology.Theresultsofthisstudyindicatethateachtexttypehasits owncharacteristicssothatintersemiotictranslationcanbedifferentfromonerendering to another.     Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Luas Bangun Datar “LuBaDa” untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya minat peserta didik pada pembelajaran matematika kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Wonokerso. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kevalidan media interaktif “LuBaDa” dalam pembelajaran matematika materi luas bangun datar untuk siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Wonokerso; (2) untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Wonokerso. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Research and Development (R & D), dimana peneliti menghasilkan sebuah produk tertentu unyuk menguji kelayakan produk yang akan dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Analiysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Wonokerso. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti dengan cara melakukan wawancara dan observasi, validasi produk kepada ahli media dan ahli materi, angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif “LuBaDa” layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan melakukan revisi berdasarkan saran para ahli media dan ahli materi. Kelayakan media dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli media mendapatkan hasil skor 93,3% dan hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan hasil 95,7%, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa media interaktif “LuBaDa” ini berkualifikasi Valid dengan sedikit revisi. Hasil rata-rata hitung yang diperoleh pada angket minat belajar sebelum menggunakan media yaitu 50,8% termasuk dalam kategori “cukup” dan hasil rata-rata hitung sesudah menggunakan media yaitu 76,5% termasuk dalam kategori “baik”.     Developing Hot Mathematics Task with Indonesian Heritage as Context to Assess Mathematical Literacy of Students in Primary School

    The goal of this research produces a set of HOT mathematics tasks with Indonesian heritage as a context that is valid and practical to assess the mathematical literacy of students in primary school. The participants of the study were 120 students in primary school. The data was collected through documentation, questionnaire, test result, and interviews. This is design research using a type of development research with formative evaluation. The mathematics task not only reviewed by 7 experts, who assess the context, content, and language of prototype but also beyond empirical evaluation of validation and reliability testing. The field test result showed that the HOT mathematics task has a potential effect on the mathematical literacy of primary school students

    Parametric study of unsteady-flow-induced volute casing vibro-acoustics in a centrifugal fan

    A numerical parametric analysis of a vibro-acoustic coupling method that considered the influence of vibro-acoustic coupling was carried out to investigate the casing vibrations and feathers of vibrational noise induced by unsteady flow of the centrifugal fan at the best-efficiency point (BEP). There are three important aspects of this method. First, an unsteady flow-field with a whole impeller-volute configuration was solved based on three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and a standard k-ε turbulence mode to obtain the source of the vibro-acoustics. Second, a one-way-flow structural acoustic coupling method was implemented to study the volute vibrations and behaviors of vibrational noise by adoption. The generation mechanism of vibrational noise of the volute casing was revealed. Third, the parametric analysis method was used to explore the parametric relationship between the panel thicknesses (such as front-panel thickness [FT], side-panel thickness [ST], and back-panel thickness [BT]) and the outlet acoustical power of the volute casing surface. The parametric analysis provides a reasonable range of values of three panel thicknesses that result in minimal vibrational sound radiation
