    Rancang Bangun Sistem Distilasi Air dalam Proses Pengolahan Air Bersih dengan Menggunakan Fresnel Lens Solar Collector

    Distillation system using direct solar energy, often called solar still, has been considered as the environmentally friendly system in utilizing solar energy. In this study, double slope solar still has been fabricated with galvanis basin for the test solution and also the addition of fresnel lens solar collector. The issues to be discussed include how much the average distilled water (distilant) can be produced from the system, so that the result can be compared to the theoretically distilant for obtaining an efficiency of the distillation system that has been fabricated. In distilant composition testing, salinity testing performed in both test solution (NaCl solution) and distilant, so it can be seen the reduction in salinity in the distillation process on the system. The measurement was conducted in May 2014, the average solar irradiation was recorded in the range 309.4 - 574.4 Watt/m2 and a system efficiency is obtained around 6- 8,2%. In salinity testing, the result showed that the salinity of distilant decreased by 96.42% compared to the test solution

    Technology is always evolving today is the smartphone. Even today smartphone can replace a lot of the role of one of the camera or computer and have become as one of the necessities for most people. The camera of the mobile phone one of which is widely used, but sometimes the picture is still not good so the need for image enhancement. Editing application on the computer one way to fix it. But with it still less practical because many processes that must be performed. Therefore, the application of repair and manipulation of digital images based on Android it easier to make edits or changes to the image.Systems made include the process of taking pictures from external memory smartphone, insert the image into the acticty main menu editor. This menu can be selected four existing menu ie brightness, contrast, auto contrast and blur. The auto contrast using the histogram method and using the RGB and HSV color space, while for the blur, brightness and contrast using RGB color space. This application is built using the Java programming language with the android his studio as an IDE.The test results show the value or number adders and multipliers for the brightness and contrast is very influential on the final result image, because it will make the picture look even brighter or darker. Giving blur effect cannot be given once to a high level of blur due to high blur effect makes the process will be long. In the process of auto results in images that are too light will produce images that appear broken ghosting or auto process works better if the images tend to be dark, large pixels also affects the work of the editing process

    The incremental value of combination copeptin and troponin T for early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction

    Background: Copeptin is a protein that is released when the body experiences endogenic stress. The level of copeptin elevated very early and slowly decreases in myocardial infarction. Aim: to determine the incremental value of combination copeptin and troponin T for early diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction. Methods: A search was conducted on PubMed and Cochrane. After screening title and abstract using inclusion and exclusion criteria, three articles were available as full text, but only 2 articles were considered useful by authors and were appraised based on its validity, importance and applicability. The other one article was excluded because the outcome of the study basically differentiates ACS and cardiomyopathy. Results: Both articles showthat the diagnostic value results are not so different. From the first article, a combination of copeptin and troponin T gives the results of sensitivity 87.4%, specificity 66.2%, PPV 46.9%, NPV 93.9%, pre-test probability 21.5%, post-test probability 40.8%, and AUC 0.91. The second article showed a combination of both gave sensitivity values of 98.8%, specificity 77.1%, PPV 46.2%, NPV 99.7%, pre-test probability 16.67%, and post-test probability 46.29%, and AUC 0,97. Conclusion: the combination of troponin T increase the sensitivity of diagnosis of AMI among patients suspected with acute coronary syndrome compared to troponin T alone. The combination of both can be considered as a test to diagnose AMI at early hours

    Data collection from world meters shows 6 months after announcement of the corona pandemic, several countries began to experience handling of corona cases which began to decline, however this was not the same as the results for several other countries, some countries showed cases that were increasing from day to day. data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2020 was minus to 5.32 percent. On a quarterly basis, the economy contracted 4.19 percent and cumulatively contracted 1.26 percent. Because of this, many companies are looking for ways to increase purchases. Scrutinized the data, the increase in the use of CSR has soared, proactively many companies have begun to engage in various CSR activities. One of the companies that are aggressively implementing CSR programs in helping others is online transportation providers; gojek. By providing the option of providing food to ojol partners (online motorcycle taxis) several options are offered to provide assistance. The sampling technique used in this study is to use a non-probability sampling method, which is a sampling technique that does not provide equal opportunities for each member of the population to selected to be the sample. Measurement of data in this study was carried out using a Likert scale. The development of this instrument contains a total of 16 attributes developed from each variable as a measurement basis for data collection with the sample used in this study being consumers who have the Gojek application. The data collected will be processed with SPSS software for data analysis in testing the validity, reliability, classical assumptions as verification of the strength of the research

    Whiskerbot: A robotic active touch system modeled on the rat whisker sensory system

    The Whiskerbot project is a collaborative project between robotics engineers, computational neuroscientists and ethologists, aiming to build a biologically inspired robotic implementation of the rodent whisker sensory system. The morphology and mechanics of the large whiskers (macro-vibrissae) have been modeled, as have the neural structures that constitute the rodent central nervous system responsible for macro-vibrissae sensory processing. There are two principal motivations for this project. First, by implementing an artificial whisker sensory system controlled using biologically plausible neural networks we hope to test existing models more thoroughly and develop new hypotheses for vibrissal sensory processing. Second, the sensory mode of tactile whiskers could be useful for general mobile robotic sensory deployment. In this article the robotic platform that has been built is detailed as well as some of the experiments that have been conducted to test the neural control algorithms and architectures inspired from neuroethological observations to mediate adaptive behaviors
