In modern times advertising activities are practiced almost every time by large companies through mass media. These companies are willing to spend millions of dollars searching a way to create unique and creative ways to advertise. Besides advertisement must have an attractive appearance, the ad must also give a meorable impression that are easy to remember. One way to make ads easy to remember is to insert a story behind the visuals of the ad. Fiat is an Italian automotive company that inserts storytelling in Fiat 500 series adverts. With the brilliant minds of Dave Hill and his digital processing capabilities Fiat is able to produce a unique and interesting ad with the dual meaning of denotative and connotative through story.     The Human Ribbon is a visual art work that was made using a 3D application to create its imagery. This work visualizes a phenomenon that is becoming a common lifestyle, living in a modern society. We as humans are always attached to something in our lives. We are bound by an invisible rope or ribbon, that binds us to a routine. This can be as simple as our daily routine, like our jobs, carrier, etc. Without realizing it, we are bound by our work to the point that we forget about other things that are so grateful and beautiful around us. On the other hand, sometimes we can't break away from that bind, even though we knew it makes us uncomfortable. Often times we ignore the people closest to us, and not pursuing our passion. In this work I want to reflect this real phenomenon to people, and remind them that we should not be overly attached to our routines that may frustrate and not make us comfortable. Make more time to spend with those closest to you, family, and loved ones. And do the things we are passionate about, because we really have to go through life with great joy.     PEER Review INOVASI VISUAL TOKOH SANGUT DAN DELEM DALAM SANGUT DELEM CHANNEL

    In the Balinese wayang kulit or shadow puppet, Sangut and Delem are known as servant figures whose presence is always awaited by the audience. Along with the advancing of digital technology and the efforts to preserve local wisdom, the two figures were adapted into a 2dimensional animated story published on social media, namely YouTube, tittled Sangut Delem Channel. In this animation, the characters of Sangut and Delem are packed with more interesting visuals without changing the characteristics of the two figures and the story ideas raised are social issues and phenomena that develop in society. The purpose of this article is to find out the visual innovation of the Sangut and Delem characters in the Sangut Delem Channel animated story by using the Innovation theory. Based on the analysis conducted, it is known that the innovations of Sangut and Delem figures include innovation characters such as (1) having advantages and added values by being made in the form of animation; (2) the suitability of innovation without losing the characteristics of the figures; (3) complexity in the process of making animation; (4) tested and proven to have more value than Sangut and Delem figures in shadow play; and (5) the possibility to be tried, and the ease of being observed without losing the characteristics of the characters. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in terms of the character of innovation that must be considered in making an animation work based on local wisdom in order to be interesting and accepted by the community.     Pasal 4 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers (selanjutnya disebut UU Pers) mengatakan bahwa Kemerdekaan pers dijamin sebagai hak asasi warga negara. Kebebasan pers merupakan kondisi dimana peran pers tidak boleh dihalangi baik dalam hal mencari, memperoleh, dan menyebarluaskan gagasan dan informasi. Kemerdekaan pers adalah salah satu wujud kedaulatan rakyat yang berasaskan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi, keadilan, dan supremasi hukum. Seperti yang telah disebutkan di atas pers nasional mempunyai hak mencari, memperoleh, dan menyebarluaskan gagasan serta informasinya. Hal ini bisa dilakukan apabila sejalan dengan kepentingan pers dan tidak merugikan pihak lain baik itu narasumber, korban, pelaku, saksi atau bahkan pembaca. Perlindungan hukum bagi narasumber terhadap kebebasan pers diatur dalam Pasal 1 angka 12 dan 13 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers yaitu pengaturan mengenai Kewajiban Koreksi dan Hak Koreksi.Adanya peran pimpinan redaksi Surat Kabar Jawa Pos dalam perlindungan narasumber terhadap kebebasan pers yakni peran dewan pers yang mendampingi narasumber dalam pelaporan atas kasus-kasus dugaan pencemaran nama baik yang dialami oleh narasumber. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.     The EFL Students’ Anxiety in an Online Public Speaking Class at an Indonesian University

    One of the main challenges for English as Foreign Language (EFL) students in the public speaking class was Foreign Language Anxiety (FLA). Due to COVID-19, the public speaking class must be conducted online. This study aimed to examine the level of FLA in online public speaking classes and discovered the impacts on students' feelings upon joining the online public speaking class. This research used a quantitative research approach. The research was conducted in the online public speaking classes for fifth-semester students at Sanata Dharma University. The researchers took 50 students from the total population of 159 students in batch 2019. The level of FLA was investigated through the Modified Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (MFLCAS), and the impacts of FLA were explored using Modified Foreign Language Virtual Classroom Anxiety Scale (MFLVCAS). The results showed that students experienced a moderate level of FLA with a mean of 3,00 by three dimensions; Communication Apprehension (CA), Fear of Negative Evaluation (FNE), and Test Anxiety (TA). There were no adverse impacts from online public speaking classes related to FLVCAS. The online classroom setting did not bring another source of anxiety to the students

    The research aims to analyze the influence of Product Diversification, Price, Marketing Cost, and Product Development to Beverage Franchise Income in Solo in 2018. The type of data used in this research is time series data which obtained from cross section data with the respondents of the beverage franchise owner. The analysis method to estimate the impact of these variables is multiple linear regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result showed that the variable of Product Diversification, Price and Marketing Cost have significant influence to Revenue, while Product Development variable have no significant influence to Revenue
