The general form-invariance principle
We postulate the applicability of the general form-invariance principle in
special relativity. It is shown that this principle holds in classical
mechanics. Some examples of transformations between the reference frames which
satisfy this principle are considered. A new transformation is proposed for a
transition from a uniformly rotating reference frame to a reference frame whose
origin is shifted from the rotation axis. Another possible formulation of this
principle is given for the case of stationary rigid reference frames which
differ from one another only by the position of the origin.Comment: 12 pages, corrected typos; ISSN 0202-289
The proper characteristics of frame reference as a 4-invariants
The paper derived 4-dimensional equation for the proper characteristics of
the rigid frame of reference. From these conditions it follows the laws of
motion of its proper tetrad and inverse kinematics equation, i. e.,
differential equations, which solves the problem of recovering the parameters
of the motion of rigid frame of reference for their proper acceleration and
angular velocity. In particular it is shown that the commission boost the
moving frame of reference having Thomas precession for a new laboratory system
will have a combination of two rotations: a new self-Thomas precession and
rotation Wigner, which combine to give an initial frequency of the Thomas
precession.Comment: 12 pages, in Russian, http://stfi.ru/journal/STFI_2015_01/voitik.pd
A practical guide to interpreting and generating bottom-up proteomics data visualizations
Mass-spectrometry based bottom-up proteomics is the main method to analyze proteomes comprehensively and the rapid evolution of instrumentation and data analysis has made the technology widely available. Data visualization is an integral part of the analysis process and it is crucial for the communication of results. This is a major challenge due to the immense complexity of MS data. In this review, we provide an overview of commonly used visualizations, starting with raw data of traditional and novel MS technologies, then basic peptide and protein level analyses, and finally visualization of highly complex datasets and networks. We specifically provide guidance on how to critically interpret and discuss the multitude of different proteomics data visualizations. Furthermore, we highlight Python-based libraries and other open science tools that can be applied for independent and transparent generation of customized visualizations. To further encourage programmatic data visualization, we provide the Python code used to generate all data figures in this review on GitHub ().DATA AVAILABILITY STATEMENT Proteomics data from the following ProteomeExchange repositories were reused to generate Figures in this study: PXD012867, PXD017703, PXD010697, PXD010103
Communication Technology of Audience Activation on Local TV
Currently, there are many kinds of communicative relations between the broadcasters and the audience. Departing from the tradition of simply delivering the information, TV, especially local, now activates the audience, inviting it to participate in the creative process. Communication technologies include: gaming techniques (television quizzes, raffles, contests); providing the audience with the opportunity to express its views and wishes on air; inviting ordinary viewers to participate in the program; special television projects with the participation of the ordinary representatives and others. The article substantiates the prospects of development of the system of local television on the basis of the definition of modern technologies of interaction with the audience.Π Π½Π°ΡΡΠΎΡΡΠ΅Π΅ Π²ΡΠ΅ΠΌΡ ΡΡΡΠ΅ΡΡΠ²ΡΡΡ ΠΌΠ½ΠΎΠΆΠ΅ΡΡΠ²ΠΎ Π²ΠΈΠ΄ΠΎΠ² ΠΊΠΎΠΌΠΌΡΠ½ΠΈΠΊΠ°ΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΡΡ

Use of autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells for creation of laryngeal cartilage
OBJECTIVES/HYPOTHESIS:
Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs) are an exciting potential cell source for tissue engineering because cells can be derived from the simple excision of autologous fat. This study introduces a novel approach for tissue-engineering cartilage from ASCs and a customized collagen oligomer solution, and demonstrates that the resultant cartilage can be used for laryngeal cartilage reconstruction in an animal model.
STUDY DESIGN:
Basic science experimental design.
METHODS:
ASCs were isolated from F344 rats, seeded in a customized collagen matrix, and cultured in chondrogenic differentiation medium for 1, 2, and 4 weeks until demonstrating cartilage-like characteristics in vitro. Large laryngeal cartilage defects were created in the F344 rat model, with the engineered cartilage used to replace the cartilage defects, and the rats followed for 1 to 3 months. Staining examined cellular morphology and cartilage-specific features.
RESULTS:
In vitro histological staining revealed rounded chondrocyte-appearing cells evenly residing throughout the customized collagen scaffold, with positive staining for cartilage-specific markers. The cartilage was used to successfully repair large cartilaginous defects in the rat model, with excellent functional results.
CONCLUSIONS:
This study is the first study to demonstrate, in an animal model, that ASCs cultured in a unique form of collagen oligomer can create functional cartilage-like grafts that can be successfully used for partial laryngeal cartilage replacement
