V závěru diplomové práce jsou získané výsledky zhodnoceny a je provedena analýza citlivosti na změnu vybraných vstupních parametrů.The content of this master thesis is the valuation of the selected industrial enterprise under conditions of risk using discounted cash flow method. The theoretical part describes the theoretical basis of business valuation and simulation of random variables, which are applied in the application part of the thesis. The practical part provides characterization of the selected industrial enterprise; moreover, financial and strategic analyses are developed. The next chapter of the practical part presents simulated sales in two variants, these differently determine the input parameters used in the simulation, using Monte Carlo simulation and geometric Brownian motion. A free cash flow plan is prepared, and the cost of equity is determined. Subsequently, the valuation of company equity is made using the method of discounted cash flows to the date 1. 1. 2020. The end of the thesis shows the evaluation of the obtained results and sensitivity analysis for change of the selected input parameters is performed.154 - Katedra financívýborn

STABILITY OF BLACK INTERCONNECT COATINGS FOR SOLAR PHOTOVOL-TAIC MODULE APPLICATIONS

Aesthetics is crucial in the development of Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) products. Manufacturers strive to mask, typically through expensive manual processes, the reflective metallic interconnects to obtain uniform module colors. Inks offer an automated alternative but must be implemented in the production line and remain stable, maintaining their appearance over time. In this study, three black metallic ribbons were tested: one commercially pre-coated and two coated with UV-curable inkjet printing. Accelerated UV-light exposure was applied according to IEC standards on coupons mimicking glass/backsheet (G/Bs) samples including encapsulant with and without UV blockers. Additionally, one-cell modules with ink-coated ribbons were fabricated using a laboratory-designed automatic inkjet printer and exposed to accelerated UV ageing. Results showed that the commercially available coated ribbon remained stable after 120 kWh/m2 of UV exposure. However, UV-curable inkjet inks caused color changes in the encapsulant around metallic interconnects, regardless of the encapsulant used or the presence or not of UV blockers in the encapsulant. Ink #1 exhibited the most color change under UV-dose. Its main component, 2-phenoexyethyl-acrylate (2-PEA), photodegraded and caused yellowing. An early sign of degradation with a slight increase of 22% in carbonyl index (CI) was observed after 15 kWh/m2 of UV exposure. Encapsulants with UV blockers successfully mitigated 2-PEA photodegradation on G/BS laminates; however, color change occurred with ink #1 despite their application. Using this ink on PV modules results in color change, but the electrical performance remains relatively stable, with less than a 3% power loss after 360 kWh/m2 of UV exposure

Title of Dissertation: Doping and Its Ethical Dimension Aims: To work up general information about doping, doping resources and methods and their influence over the human organism, to think of the reasons, why people use forbidden supportive resources in sport, to judge the problem ofdoping in sport in term of ehtical and moral aspects, to evaluate the impacts of doping on trustworthiness ofthe athlete and the sport as a whole. Methods: The dissertation has a theoretic character and uses qualitative methods: compares, analyses and interprets texts from publications and sources. It draws own conclusions from these bases. Results: The dissertation clears up broad issue of doping in sport in term of history, medicine and social sciences and especially it opens up less analysed ethical aspect, analysis cause of using doping and its negative impacts on athletes and sport communities, forms platform for possible prevention and educational utilization. Keywods: Doping - "Spirit of Sport" - Ethical Offences- Ethics ofSport - Fair Play

Role of Urbach Energy in Photovoltaics

Organic-inorganic halide perovskites provide new opportunities for improvement of optoelectronic device performance, especially the efficiency of solar cells. To evaluate the quality of a new material many parameters has to be taken into account. Here, we discuss one of the often overlooked semiconductor’s parameters, Urbach energy, which is an easily accessible measure of material disorder. Moreover, we present its importance on the example of organic-inorganic halide perovskites

The purpose of this work is to familiarize with the properties and role of microtubules in living organisms and to study the capacitance, resistance, impedance and phase difference of solutions of bovine serum albumin and tubulin with respect to their concentration and distance between electrodes for different frequencies of applied electric field. During the investigation of these dependencies, another phenomenon has been discovered and investigated, namely the formation of hydrogel precipitations of both proteins on the electrode using an electric field generated by DC voltage. In addition, the reproducibility of crystallization of bovine serum albumin in an alternating electric field on a tip electrode that was observed in previous experiments has been also studied and not confirmed. Together with the crystallization experiments, the active area of two produced tip electrode has been measured. All these measurements will be used in our further investigation of tubulin properties as well as in conductivity measurement of tubulin and microtubules by tear-off method

How to perceive quantitative indicators when assessing research policies

    No full text
The purpose of our contribution is to discuss shortcomings of purely descriptive quantitative evaluation of research policies – based either on inputs (public investment, number of researchers), or outputs (publications, number of patents). To give an example we compare selected indicators across Visegrad countries in the period between 2006 and 2015. We conclude that both quantitative and qualitative perspectives as well as societal and political context should be taken into account when the performance of any R&D system and the impact of public investments into a public R&D sector are scrutinized
