Ishak Vito, this is Thesis Title Effect On Economy Education Environment Family Against Economic Rationality Economics Faculty of Teacher Education Students Tanjungpura University. This study aims to determine how much influence the economics of education in the family against economic rationality. The research method is a form of associative method with survey research and using regression analysis. Subjects were a regular student education FKIP Untan economy. The data obtained through questionnaires spread and sheet / working paper documentation. The results showed Economics Education Environment Family in a positive impact on the formulation indicated Economic Rationality Y = 16, 609 +0.729 X. Correlation coefficients were tested by t test with significance level and degrees of freedom equal confidence gained 3,046 t, while t table 1.976. Of these tests claim to reject the null hypothesis (3.046> 1.645). In conclusion then accept the alternative hypothesis by determining the coefficient of 30.2% while the remaining contribution of other variables

A CMOS AGC-less IF Strip for Bluetooth

This paper presents an IF chain suitable for Low-IF fully-integrated GFSK receivers. The circuit performs amplification and channel selection (including image rejection). A five-pole Gm-C polyphase filter forms the core of the IF strip. The filter is current driven and has transimpedance gain of ≃ 120 kΩ. The filter is architectured so that GFSK signals with dynamic range exceeding 50dB can be decoded without the need of any automatic gain control. This AGC-less IF strip was fabricated in standard 0.25 µm CMOS process. It draws 6.2 mA from a 2.5 V supply and has better than 4.8 nA rms input referred noise. Input signals (compliant with Bluetooth) were applied and the output signal was collected for software decoding . Generated BER plots meet Bluetooth specifications

Complex networks: new trends for the analysis of brain connectivity

Today, the human brain can be studied as a whole. Electroencephalography, magnetoencephalography, or functional magnetic resonance imaging techniques provide functional connectivity patterns between different brain areas, and during different pathological and cognitive neuro-dynamical states. In this Tutorial we review novel complex networks approaches to unveil how brain networks can efficiently manage local processing and global integration for the transfer of information, while being at the same time capable of adapting to satisfy changing neural demands.Comment: Tutorial paper to appear in the Int. Influences of Leaf Area Index estimations on water balance modeling in a Mediterranean semi-arid basin

Abstract. In the present work, the role played by vegetation parameters, necessary to the hydrological distributed modeling, is investigated focusing on the correct use of remote sensing products for the evaluation of hydrological losses in the soil water balance. The research was carried out over a medium-sized river basin in Southern Italy, where the vegetation status is characterised through a data-set of multi-temporal NDVI images. The model adopted uses one layer of vegetation whose status is defined by the Leaf Area Index (LAI), which is often obtained from NDVI images. The inherent problem is that the vegetation heterogeneity – including soil disturbances – has a large influence on the spectral bands and so the relation between LAI and NDVI is not unambiguous. We present a rationale for the basin scale calibration of a non-linear NDVI-LAI regression, based on the comparison between NDVI values and literature LAI estimations of the vegetation cover in recognized landscape elements of the study catchment. Adopting a process-based model (DREAM) with a distributed parameterisation, the influence of different NDVI-LAI regression models on main features of water balance predictions is investigated. The results show a significant sensitivity of the hydrological losses and soil water regime to the alternative LAI estimations. These crucially affects the model performances especially in low-flows simulation and in the identification of the intermittent regime

We present the state of the art on the modern mathematical methods of exploiting the entropy principle in thermomechanics of continuous media. A survey of recent results and conceptual discussions of this topic in some well-known non-equilibrium theories (Classical irreversible thermodynamics CIT, Rational thermodynamics RT, Thermodynamics of irreversible processes TIP, Extended irreversible hermodynamics EIT, Rational Extended thermodynamics RET) is also summarized

Glutamine Synthetase Desensitizes Differentiated Adipocytes to Proinflammatory Stimuli by Raising Intracellular Glutamine Levels

    Get PDF
The role of glutamine synthetase (GS), a key glutamine-producing enzyme, is unclear during adipocyte differentiation. We assess here whether GS expression influences the adipocytic response to a proinflammatory challenge at different differentiation stages. GS is expressed at late stages of differentiation and desensitizes mature cells to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) by increasing intracellular glutamine levels. LPS-activated mature adipocytes are unable to produce inflammatory mediators; their sensitivity to LPS is rescued in conditions of GS inhibition, in which intracellular glutamine levels decrease. The ability of adipocytes at different differentiation days to respond to LPS negatively correlates to GS expression and intracellular glutamine levels. Modulation of intracellular glutamine levels by GS expression represents an endogenous mechanism by which mature adipocytes control the inflammatory response
