    Employees Cognitive Measurement By Typing Time

    Activity performed by administration staffs like typing work involves a delicate interaction between perceptual, cognitive and motoric processes. For completing this type of work requires a holistic comprehension about the job which involving coordination of speed and precision. Therefore, this research tries to study about cognitive performance measurement by employing typing time scaling. There were 60 participants involved in this research with three different backgrounds from employees, university students, and lecturers. They asked to type the provided draft then their time will be calculated by the researchers to measure how many mistakes that they have done while typing the document. This study found result that participant’s background gives a sound contribution in time record and typing error made by the participants. Three categories are found in time and typing errors by their own standard level based on time recording and typing results. However, this research needs plenty more follow ups such as more proportional selection of participants by using larger samples to have lots of variety in results.     MANFAAT SERTA KENDALA MENERAPKAN FLASHCARD PADA PELAJARAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN

    ABSTRACT The beginning reading is the initial stage of reading learning that must be taught from an early age, because it is the basis for students to be able to move to the reading comprehension stage. In the reading beginning, students are taught to recognize letters and letter sounds, stringing letters into syllables, words to compose sentences. When implementing the reading beginning with flashcard there are certainly benefits and constraints encountered. Thus, this research was conducted to describe the benefits and constraints encountered when applying a flascard to the beginning reading learning. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Qualitative descriptive is an effort to explain facts, data, or objects, qualitatively in the form of language or discourse by interpreting appropriately and systematically. Data is displayed not in the form of quantitative numbers. This research was conducted in one of the private schools in Mamit, Papua. The class observed was grade 1 elementary school. The benefits of applying flashcard to the beginning reading learning is able to attract students' attention, students are not nervous while reading, and help students remember words more easily. While the constraints in implementing flashcards is that it takes a long time.   Keywords: Flashcard, Reading, The Beginning Reading   ABSTRAK Membaca permulaan merupakan tahap awal dari pembelajaran membaca yang harus diajarkan sejak usia dini, karena hal tersebut merupakan dasar bagi siswa untuk dapat melangkah kepada tahap membaca pemahaman. Saat membaca permulaan, siswa diajarkan untuk mengenal huruf dan bunyi huruf, merangkai huruf menjadi suku kata, kata hingga menyusun kalimat. Saat menerapkan membaca permulaan dengan flashcard tentunya ada manfaat dan kendala yang ditemui. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diadakan untuk menguraikan manfaat dan kendala yang ditemui saat menerapkan flascard pada pembelajarana membaca permulaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Deskriptif kualitatif adalah upaya menjelaskan fakta, data, atau objek, secara kualitatif dalam bentuk bahasa atau wacana dengan menginterpretasi secara tepat dan sistematis. Data ditampilkan bukan berupa angka-angka kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu sekolah swasta yang ada di Mamit, Papua. Kelas yang di observasi adalah kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar. Manfaat dari penerapan flashcard pada pembelajaran membaca Permulaan adalah mampu menarik perhatian siswa, siswa tidak gugup ketika membaca, dan membantu siswa lebih mudah mengingat kata.     The Dominant Effect of Electronic Service Quality Attributes on Affective, Conative, and Action Electronic Customer Loyalty on Shopee E-Commerce Users in East Java

    The high value of e-commerce business transactions which reached more than forty four billion US Dollars caused e-commerce companies to compete fiercely. Shopee is an example of a company that has successfully taken advantage of e-commerce business opportunities in Indonesia. Shopee as e-commerce with the most visitors currently has to face competition in its business scope. One way to face competition is to pay attention to the quality of its services (e-servqual). The purpose of this study is to analyze the indicators that have the most influence on the electronic service quality variable in maintaining affective, conative, and action e-customer loyalty on e-commerce users . Shopee in East Java by making modeling using Structural Equation Modeling . The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling, which was selected by Shopee users in various cities in East Java. The number of samples that are taken as much as 393 respondents. The attributes of the quality of electronic services in this study include efficiency, fulfillment, privacy, responsiveness, compensation and contact. From the results of the research, it is found that the indicators that give the greatest contribution to the diversity of the quality of electronic services are privacy , responsiveness , and contact . In addition, the relationship between e-servqual variables with affective, conative, and action customer loyalty , among others: e-servqual has a significant direct relationship and has a positive effect on affective E-loyalty, e-servqual has a significant direct and indirect relationship and has a positive effect on conative e-loyalty, e-servqual has a significant direct and indirect relationship and has a positive effect on action e-loyalty, affective e-loyalty has a significant direct and positive effect on conative e-loyalty, and affective e-loyalty has a significant direct relationship and has a positive effect on action e-loyalty

    Analysis of Integration of Disaster Education in Science Subject on the Topic of Waves and Disasters

    Formal education is an effective means of providing education related to disaster risk reduction by integrating disaster material into the curriculum. One of the subjects that can be integrated with disaster material is science subjects. In the learning process, science is taught in an integrated manner which means connecting science with various fields of study manifested by a learning theme. This study aims to analyze the integration of disaster education in the 2013 curriculum in the Natural Science subject with the theme of Waves and Disasters in junior high schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this research is literature study. The results showed that: The theme of learning Waves and Disasters is a theme that is packaged with a webbed integrated model that can teach disaster education in science subjects. Basic competencies (KD) that can teach the theme are KD 3.10 regarding the layers of the earth and disasters and KD 4.10 regarding communicating disaster risk reduction efforts in grades VII and KD 3.11 regarding vibrations, waves, sound and KD 4.11 regarding presenting experimental results of vibrations, waves and sounds in grades VIII

    Molecular analysis and development of 16S rRNA oligonucleotide probes to characterize a diclofopmethyl-degrading biofilm consortium

    Genomic DNA from nine individual bacteria, isolated from a diclofop-methyl-degrading biofilm consortium, was extracted for genetic characterization. The degradation of diclofop-methyl produces metabolites that are known intermediates or substrates for bacteria that degrade a variety of chlorinated aromatic compounds. Accordingly, oligonucleotide primers were designed from specific catabolic genes for chlorinated organic degradation pathways, and tested by PCR to determine if these genes are involved in diclofop-methyl degradation. DNA homology between the PCR products and the known catabolic genes investigated by Southern hybridization analysis and by sequencing, suggested that novel catabolic genes are functioning in the isolates. Specific fluorescent oligonucleotides were designed for two of the isolates, following 16S rDNA sequencing and identification of each of the isolates. These probes were successfully used for fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) studies of the two isolates in the biofilm consortium. L\u2019homologie existant entre les produits de PCR et les g\ue8nes \ue9tudi\ue9s, \ue9valu\ue9e par s\ue9quen\ue7age et transfert de Southern, sugg\ue8re l\u2019existence de nouveaux g\ue8nes cataboliques au sein du consortium.
