Efficient Authentication in RFID Devices Using Et Alas Algorithm

    Get PDF
Security plays a vital role during the transmission of private data from one sender to the other. Although there are many security algorithms implemented but here we are providing the security algorithms on the RFID devices. The authentication techniques implemented in RFID is based on the new algorithm based on smart cards. The data send through the tags can be made secure using the proposed algorithm so that the un-authorised users can2019;t access the data without any further unique numbers

Some results on Lupaş (p; q)-Bernstein operators and its limit form

    Get PDF
In this paper, statistical approximation properties of Lupaş (p; q)-analogue of Bernstein operators are studied. Rate of statistical convergence by means of modulus of continuity and Lipschitz type maximal functions has been investigated. Further Limit Lupaş (p; q)-Bernstein operators are defined and some results are investigated

The influence of occupational rank on organizational commitment of faculty members

    Get PDF
This study investigates the impact of rank on organizational commitment and explores the individual relationships between affective, normative and continuance commitment. The study comprised a sample of 505 academic staff from 28 privately-owned technical institutes in Haryana state, India. Three way ANOVA results reveal that overall organizational commitment increases progressively with rank. Results further show that rank does not have a positive influence on affective, continuance and normative commitment. Female faculty found more committed than their male counterparts. The findings have been thoroughly discussed in terms of the influential role of rank on organizational commitments for faculty members

Preparing Generic Spiral Structure using Optimized Design Parameters

In this paper, frequency reconfigurable spiral patch antenna is designed. Frequency reconfiguration is achieved by changing the electrical length of antenna with the help of PIN diode switch. Design parameters of spiral antenna are optimized to get improved results. After that, a generic spiral structure is designed using these optimized values. This will reduce complexity and simulation time. Now, there is no need to redesign spiral structure for different values of design parameters. Just have to put values of parameter in their respective variable and this generic structure will be converted to desired structure. This will reduce design complexity and simulation time

Acute pancreatitis in pregnancy: a case report

    Get PDF
Acute pancreatitis is a rare event, can be associated with a high maternal mortality and fetal loss with an incidence of 3 in 10,000 pregnancies. A 24 years old primigravida with 28 weeks of gestation, presented with pain in upper abdomen since 4 days and nausea, vomiting and fever sine two days, abdomen distended and tenderness present in epigastric region. Serum amylase and lipase were raised. Sonography abdomen showed pancreas bulky with peripancreatic free fluid and inflammatory changes suggestive of pancreatitis. Patient was managed condervatively and was discharged to home after 7 days. Regular follow up was done till 36 weeks and emergency cesarean delivery was done in view of non-reassuring fetal heart rate at 36 weeks 3 days of gestation. Early diagnosis of acute pancreatitis in pregnancy and supportive treatment with maternal and fetal monitoring results in good perinatal outcome. The treatment of pancreatitis in pregnancy should be conservative as far as possible with delaying the definitive treatment until delivery of the baby

Fetal growth and its correlation with level of glycemic control in pregnancy with diabetes: an observational study in tertiary care centre of North India

Background: Diabetes in pregnancy is a known risk factor for macrosomia and intensive glycemic control is a well-known strategy to prevent this macrosomia. However, does this tight glycemic control is actually beneficial or is it one of the reasons for small for gestational age babies in these women? Is a clinical enigma. We planned this study to see effects of glycemic control on fetal weight and to answer if tight control is always better. Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology in a tertiary care centre (King George medical university) over a period of one year (June 2017-June 2018). All pregnant women with GDM and pre-gestational diabetes with singleton pregnancy were registered in the study after proper consent, followed up for glycemic control, fetal weight. Antepartum risk factors and complications of diabetes were also noted in these women. Results: Total 88 patients included in the study. Five with pre-gestational diabetes, 83 with GDM. Small for gestational age neonates were seen in 54.1% cases, large for gestational age were seen in 2 cases and rest of neonates were appropriate for gestational age. 89.4% had good glycemic control, 7% had over-zealous glycemic control and 3.5% had under-controlled sugars. Conclusions: The results in the study strongly supported the efficacy of good glycemic control in prevention of LGA/macrosomia. However, optimal glycemic control in third trimester does not guarantee appropriate weight of fetus as incidence of SGA/FGR neonates was fairly high (53.9%) even in good glycemic control group

Synthesis and characterization of some binuclear alkylene dithiophosphate complexes of bis(acetylacetonato)aluminium(III)-di-(μ-isopropoxo)di-isopropoxoaluminium(III) and sol-gel synthesis of nanosized θ-alumina

1309-1316Reactions of bis(acetylacetonato)aluminum(III)-di-(μ–isopropoxo)-di-isopropoxoaluminum(III) (A) with a variety of alkylenedithiophosphoric acids in different molar ratio yield products of the type [(CH3COCHCOCH3)2Al(μ-OPri)2Al{S(S)P(O-G-O)n(OPri)2-n] (1-9) {where G = C(CH3)2C(CH3)2, n=1[1], n=2[2]; -CH2CH(C2H5), n=1[3], n=2[4];CH2CH(CH3), n=1[5], n=2[6];C(CH3)2CH2CH(CH3), n=1[7]; CH(CH3)CH(CH3) n=1[8], n=2[9]}. Progress of the reaction is monitored by estimating liberated 2-propanol in benzene-2-propanol azeotrope by oxidimetric method. All pale coloured viscous products were soluble in common organic solvents and are characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR and NMR (1H and 13C{1H} NMR) spectral studies. Molecular weight measurements in refluxing anhydrous benzene indicated binuclear nature of the complexes. 27Al NMR spectra of two of the derivatives, (1) and (2), suggested the presence of aluminium(III) atoms in different coordination states. 31P NMR spectra of the representative derivatives (1) and (2) exhibited only a single peak at 95.71 and 90.59 ppm, respectively, suggesting tetra-coordination around phosphorus atom and a bidentate mode of chelation of the dithio ligand. Sol-gel transformation of Al(OPri)3 and [(CH3COCHCOCH3)2Al(μ-OPri)2Al(OPri)2] (A) followed by sintering at ~850 °C yield alumina (a) and (b), respectively. The powder X-ray diffractionpatterns, SEM images and FT-IR spectral studies of (a) and (b) has indicated formation of nano-crystallites of θ -Al2O3 [PDF # 110517] in both the cases. The energy band gaps of 4.78 eV and 5.01 eV for (a) and (b), respectively are obtained from the absorption spectra
