    Magnetohydrodynamics flow of a nanofluid driven by a stretching/shrinking sheet with suction

    The present paper investigates the effect of a mathematical model describing the aforementioned process in which the ambient nanofluid in the presence of suction/injection and magnetic field are taken into consideration. The flow is induced by an infinite elastic sheet which is stretched along its own plane. The stretching/shrinking of the sheet is assumed to be proportional to the distance from the slit. The governing equations are reduced to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation by means of similarity transformation. The consequential nonlinear equation is solved analytically. Consequences show that the flow field can be divided into a near-field region and a far-field region. Suction on the surface plays an important role in the flow development in the near-field whereas the far-field is responsible mainly by stretching. The electromagnetic effect plays exactly the same role as the MHD, which is to reduce the horizontal flow resulting from stretching. It is shown that the behavior of the fluid flow changes with the change of the nanoparticles type. The present study throws light on the analytical solution of a class of laminar boundary layer equations arising in the stretching/shrinking sheet problem

    When using the cell phone programs, communication will occur when the wise phone is placed close to the NFC visitors. Ahead of time, the wise phone is installed when using the android apps to completely utilize the functions of ISCAPS. When using the cell phone programs, customer may reserve car park in advance, permitting the customer to complement later. Instead of while using the conventional “Season Pass” or ticket, ISCAPS uses the Near Field Communication (NFC) cause of wise phone as parking ticket. Innovative Wise Vehicle Parking System (ISCAPS) integrated with e-Valet technology is recommended in this paper. When using the recommended ISCAPS using RFID (RF Identification) cards and paper tickets will likely be removed resulting less pricey, more convenience and eco-friendly. The e-Valet function works like what sort of valet parking would function. It ensures car park availability for that incoming customer. Therefore, customer only must tap the wise phone over the designated visitors to enter the car park and tap again going to accomplish payment. Adriano microcontroller may be used since the brain inside the system and control the input progression of the system. In addition, vehicle searching function is incorporated, that helps clients to uncover their vehicle when forgotten

    Deep bayesian network for visual question generation

    Generating natural questions from an image is a semantic task that requires using vision and language modalities to learn multimodal representations. Images can have multiple visual and language cues such as places, captions, and tags. In this paper, we propose a principled deep Bayesian learning framework that combines these cues to produce natural questions. We observe that with the addition of more cues and by minimizing uncertainty in the among cues, the Bayesian network becomes more confident. We propose a Minimizing Uncertainty of Mixture of Cues (MUMC), that minimizes uncertainty present in a mixture of cues experts for generating probabilistic questions. This is a Bayesian framework and the results show a remarkable similarity to natural questions as validated by a human study. We observe that with the addition of more cues and by minimizing uncertainty among the cues, the Bayesian framework becomes more confident. Ablation studies of our model indicate that a subset of cues is inferior at this task and hence the principled fusion of cues is preferred. Further, we observe that the proposed approach substantially improves over state-of-the-art benchmarks on the quantitative metrics (BLEU-n, METEOR, ROUGE, and CIDEr).     Impact of non-idealities on the Performance of an Ultracapacitor based Bidirectional DC/DC Converter

    This paper analyses the impact of non-idealities on the performance of an ultracapacitor based bidirectional DC/DC converter. In particular, this work analyses the impact of ON state resistance of the MOSFET switches on the performance of bidirectional DC/DC converter. It is shown that, under particular operating conditions, the ON state resistance of the MOSFET can have a significant impact on the performance of th DC/DC converter and can cause an unstable response. An analytical expression is derived to identify the operating conditions under which the non-idealities can have a significant impact on the performance of the DC/DC converter. Simulation results are presented to aid the analysis reported in this paper. © 2020 IEEE

    Multimode Operation of a PV-Battery System fed Brushless DC Motor Drive

    Utilization of energy storage systems along with Photovoltaic systems, can provide an efficient solution to overcome the challenges associated with renewable energy sources. This paper proposes an algorithm for the multimode operation of a Brushless DC motor drive fed using a combination of Photovoltaic System and battery-based energy storage. Based on the solar irradiation and the state of charge of the battery, the proposed algorithm identifies a control scheme wherein the entire system operates in Four different modes. The working of the PV-Battery System fed Brushless DC Motor Drive under various operating modes is presented and is verified using simulation analysis performed in MATLAB/Simulink. © 2020 IEEE
