The globаl crisis thаt occurred in 1997 аnd 2008 mаde bаnks should be аble to survive in the presence of these conditions. On wаy for bаnks to survive is to mаintаin the heаlth of bаnks. In relаtion to the heаlth of bаnks, Bаnk Indonesiа hаs estаblished severаl regulаtions concerning bаnk heаlth rаnging from CАMEL, CАMELS, аnd the lаtest аnd used to dаte, nаmely Bаnk Indonesiа Regulаtion Number 13/24/DPNP/2011. The regulаtion contаins the methods used in аssessing the heаlth of bаnks consisting of four аssessment fаctors, nаmely Risk Profile, Good Corporаte Governаnce, Eаrning, аnd Cаpitаl. The result of the reseаrch shows thаt from NPL (Net Performing Loаn), LDR (Loаn to Deposit Rаtio), GCG (Good Corporаte Governаnce), ROА (Return On Аsset), NIM (Net Interest Mаrgin), аnd the cаlculаtion of CАR (Cаpitаl Аdequаcy Rаtio) thаt the condition of commerciаl bаnks listed on the Indonesiа Stock Exchаnge period 2013-2015 аre mostly in good condition. Аnd if seen from the recаpitulаtion of RGEC rаnkings, there аre three commerciаl bаnks thаt аre sаid to be heаlthy bаnks. Safeguarding people living in vulnerable conditions in the COVID-19 era through universal health coverage and social protection

The COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented. The pandemic not only induced a public health crisis, but has led to severe economic, social, and educational crises. Across economies and societies, the distributional consequences of the pandemic have been uneven. Among groups living in vulnerable conditions, the pandemic substantially magnified the inequality gaps, with possible negative implications for these individuals' long-term physical, socioeconomic, and mental wellbeing. This Viewpoint proposes priority, programmatic, and policy recommendations that governments, resource partners, and relevant stakeholders should consider in formulating medium-term to long-term strategies for preventing the spread of COVID-19, addressing the virus's impacts, and decreasing health inequalities. The world is at a never more crucial moment, requiring collaboration and cooperation from all sectors to mitigate the inequality gaps and improve people's health and wellbeing with universal health coverage and social protection, in addition to implementation of the health in all policies approach

    Brukermedvirkning i helse- og omsorgssektoren

    Get PDF

Occurrence of Bisphenols and Benzophenone UV Filters in White-Tailed Eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) from Smøla, Norway

    No full text
There is a growing concern about the occurrence of bisphenols and benzophenone UV filters in natural ecosystems, while data are limited regarding their actual occurrence in wildlife species, especially in raptors. In this study, concentrations of bisphenol and benzophenone UV filter analogues were determined in liver tissue samples (n = 38) from white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) that were found dead in Smøla (2006–2018), which is a Norwegian municipality that holds one of the densest breeding populations of white-tailed eagles in Europe. Bisphenol AF (BPAF; a fluorinated analogue) was the most ubiquitous contaminant since it was detected in 32 liver samples at concentrations ranging from 1.08 to 6.68 ng/g wet weight (w.w.), followed by bisphenol A (BPA, mean 10.4 ng/g w.w.), benzophenone-1 (BzP-1, mean 3.24 ng/g w.w.), and 4-hydroxybenzophenone (4-OH-BzP, mean 0.62 ng/g w.w.). The concentrations found in livers suggested that white-tailed eagles potentially accumulate bisphenols and benzophenone UV filters, which raises concern, as these plastic and personal care product-related emerging contaminants can show endocrine-disrupting properties. The high detection frequency of the fluorinated BPAF warrants further attention as other fluorinated compounds have proven to be extremely persistent and potentially harmful to wildlife

All samples were indexed and stored by the Department of Biology and chemical analysis was conducted at the Department of Chemistry, NTNU. Geotechnical investigation of soil properties in Hatsalatladi village, Botswana; Insights from aeromagnetic, laboratory soil tests and Rayleigh wave dispersion datasets

Soil tests and Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) data were conducted in Hatsalatladi village, Botswana, to investigate the occurrence of ground fissures within the village and to identify the likely causes of the fissures and their depth extent. The MASW data were collected to gain insights into the variation of shear wave velocity with depth. The dataset shows that the shear wave velocity ranged from 150 m/s – 500 m/s, with Poisson's ratios ranging from 0.02 to 0.25. A low-velocity zone (LVZ) was observed in the upper 5 m of the subsurface with velocities ranging from 200 m/s to 350 m/s.The soil plasticity was measured through the plastic and liquid Atterberg tests. Atterberg limits measurements obtained from the three survey sites show that the plastic index of the soil samples collected from depths of 1 m fall within the 10–20% range. Specifically, the Filled Crack survey site had a plastic index of 16%, while the Abandoned House and Bridge sites had 18.7% and 13.5%, respectively. Soil samples from Filled Crack and Abandoned House site revealed a linear shrinkage of 6.4%, while the Bridge site soil sample had a linear shrinkage of 2.9%. The sieve analysis test results are also presented
