Considered the problem of optimization of the process of constructing specialized algorithms for the given form nonlinear ordinary differential equations systems’ numerical solution. The problem is reduced to the determination and use of approximating representations of the numerical integration errors by the chosen basic method.

‘Karla’, ‘Klages\u27, ‘Morex’, and ‘Steptoe’ cultivars of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) differed in susceptibility to postemergence recommended application rates of diclofop {(±)-2-[4-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy) phenoxy] propanoic acid}, difenzoquat [1,2-dimethyl-3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazolium], chlorsulfuron {2-chloro-N-[[(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino] carbonyl] benzenesulfonamide}, and metribuzin [4-amino-6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-3-(methylthio)-1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one] in 1981 and 1982. Metribuzin injured Morex, and difenzoquat injured all cultivars within 2 weeks after herbicide application. Metribuzin reduced height and crop biomass compared to the hand-weeded control. Herbicide treatments did not affect grain yield at Moscow, ID, in either year. However, metribuzin reduced yield of Karla and Morex, and diclofop reduced yield of Karla compared to the hand-weeded control at Pullman, WA, in 1982. Barley injury and grain yield loss depended on herbicide treatment and cultivar. Early season herbicide injury to barley did not indicate grain yield response at harvest

Method to solve integral equations of the first kind with an approximate input

Techniques are proposed for solving integral equations of the first kind with an input known not precisely. The requirement that the solution sought for includes a given number of maxima and minima is imposed. It is shown that when the deviation of the approximate input from the true one is sufficiently small and some additional conditions are fulfilled the method leads to an approximate solution that is necessarily close to the true solution. No regularization is required in the present approach. Requirements on features of the solution at integration limits are also imposed. The problem is treated with the help of an ansatz proposed for the derivative of the solution. The ansatz is the most general one compatible with the above mentioned requirements. The techniques are tested with exactly solvable examples. Inversions of the Lorentz, Stieltjes and Laplace integral transforms are performed, and very satisfactory results are obtained. The method is useful, in particular, for the calculation of quantum-mechanical reaction amplitudes and inclusive spectra of perturbation-induced reactions in the framework of the integral transform approach.Comment: 28 pages, 1 figure; the presentation is somewhat improved; to be published in Phys. P Systems with Minimal Left and Right Insertion and Deletion

    Get PDF
In this article we investigate the operations of insertion and deletion performed at the ends of a string. We show that using these operations in a P systems framework (which corresponds to using specific variants of graph control), computational completeness can even be achieved with the operations of left and right insertion and deletion of only one symbol

On insertion-deletion systems over relational words

We introduce a new notion of a relational word as a finite totally ordered set of positions endowed with three binary relations that describe which positions are labeled by equal data, by unequal data and those having an undefined relation between their labels. We define the operations of insertion and deletion on relational words generalizing corresponding operations on strings. We prove that the transitive and reflexive closure of these operations has a decidable membership problem for the case of short insertion-deletion rules (of size two/three and three/two). At the same time, we show that in the general case such systems can produce a coding of any recursively enumerable language leading to undecidabilty of reachability questions.Comment: 24 pages, 8 figure

Our experience of monitoring of drugs safety in gerontological practice

    Get PDF
The analysis of work on identification and registration of complications of medicinal therapy in medical institutions of the Irkutsk region showed that the frequency of undesirable medicinal reactions at inpatients is more senior than 60 years makes from 10 % to 25 %. At advanced age the special place is taken by dysfunction of a digestive tract and allergic reactions at purpose of cardiovascular medicines, and also antibacterial and the antiglaucomous medicines. The number of cases of absence of therapeutic effect of PM in this age group made 18,9 %, reactions from the digestive tract - 15,5 % of cases, thus in 6,5 % pseudomembranous colitis was registered. It is established that risk factors of emergency of such reaction were the background pain or depressive syndrome, accompanying application of more than three drugs and absence of the scheme of a titration of dosages

Polynomial reconstruction of electric charge distribution on the conductive plate caused by external electric field

    Get PDF
The paper proposes an original method of calculating the charge distribution on the surface of the conductive plate introduced into the external electrostatic field. The authors managed to obtain the polynomials which allow to solve the integral equation that establishes the relationship between charge distribution of the conductive plate and the potential distribution of the external field and the potential on the surface of the plate. The proposed algorithms solutions are valid in the presence of axial symmetry of the field and the plate. Examples of calculation of conductor charge distribution in the presence of external field by using a polynomial expansion have been presented. The comparisons of results calculated by the polynomial method and by known analytical solutions have been given

MONITORING OF DRUG SAFETY IN CLINICAL PRACTICE

    Get PDF
The results of work on identification and registration of complications of medicinal therapy in medical institutions of the Irkutsk region showed that that the frequency of undesirable medicinal reactions in patients made from 10 to 30 %. The standard scheme of antibacterial therapy results in resistance of pathogenetic flora. Hospital patients have great possibility of being infected with microorganisms, the so-called hospital strains (bacteria). The drug safety monitoring showed the necessity of the policing of prescribing of cardiovascular, antibacterial and antiglaucoma drugs
