    The new species Tricholomopsis osiliensis from Saaremaa, Estonia, is described and illustrated. This rare species was found in rich mixed forest, growing on a fallen trunk of Picea abies.

    Agaricoid fungi (Basidiomycota): Amanita flavescens, Cortinarius brunneotinctus, Cortinarius claroplaniusculus, Cortinarius orasericeus, Cortinarius pardinipes, Cortinarius rufoallutus, Entoloma querquedula, Galerina calyptrospora, Galerina lacustris and Tricholomopsis flammula are reported as new to Finland. Three genera of ascomycetoid fungi (Ascomycota): Ascocodinea, Pseudoproboscispora, Scabropezia and 16 species are reported as new to Finland: Arachnocrea stipata, Ascocodinea polyporicola, Capronia parasitica, Diaporthe dulcamarae, Endoxylina astroidea, Gnomoniopsis tormentillae, Gorgoniceps hypothallosa, Helvella latispora, Helvella terrestris, Peziza celtica, Hypocrea estonica, Mycosphaerella topographica, Ophiobolus galii, Pseudoproboscispora caudae-suis, Roesleria subterranean, Scabropezia scabrosa.     Pseudosperma arenarium (Inocybaceae), a new poisonous species from Eurasia, based on morphological, ecological, molecular and biochemical evidence

    In this study, Pseudosperma arenarium is proposed as a new species, based on morphological, ecological, molecular and biochemical evidence. The new species grows on sandy ground under Populus and Pinus sylvestris in north-western China and northern Europe, respectively. It is characterised by the combination of the robust habit, nearly glabrous pileus, large cylindrical basidiospores, thin-walled cheilocystidia and eco-logical associations with Populus alba x P. berolinensis and Pinus sylvestris and unique phylogenetic place-ment. Additionally, a comprehensive toxin determination of the new species using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was conducted. Results showed that it was a mus-carine-positive species. The content were approximately five times higher in the pilei [4012.2 +/- 803.1- 4302.3 +/- 863.2 mg/kg (k = 2, p = 95%)] than in the stipes [850.4 +/- 171.1-929.1 +/- 184.2 mg/kg (k = 2, p = 95%)], demonstrating the severity of mushroom poisoning when patients consumed different parts of the poisonous mushroom. Amatoxins, phallotoxins, ibotenic acid, muscimol, psilocybin and psilocin were not detected

    Fibre caps across Europe: type studies and 11 new species of Inocybe (Agaricales, Basidiomycota)

    Based on detailed morphological and genetic investigation, 11 new species of Inocybe (I. abdita, I. alcis, I. carissima, I. cryptica, I. culicis, I. mecoana, I. mortenii, I. orioli, I. rangiferi, I. sepiana and I. turfae) are described. Six of the new species are smooth-spored and five are nodulose-spored. The new species are compared to 18 type specimens, all of which are described here and for seven of which (partial) ITS sequences have been generated. For six species, namely I. griseovelata, I. lacera, I. soluta, I. subcarpta, I. tarda and I. transitoria, a lectotype, epitype or neotype was selected, and a description and a figure plate are provided for each of them. Based on our studies, we are convinced that I. albofibrillosa and I. striatorimosa are synonymous with I. soluta, while I. aurantioumbonata is synonymous with I. tarda. Furthermore, we affirm that I. longicystis is synonymous with I. stellatospora. All of the new species are supported by phylogenetic analyses.     One genera of agaricoid fungi (Basidiomycota): Romagnesiella and 12 species are reported as new to Finland: Agaricus macrocarpus, Arrhenia obatra, Arrhenia obscurata, Arrhenia rigidipes, Coprinellus brevisetulosus, Coprinus candidatus, Entoloma plebejum, Hydnum vesterholtii, Inocybe phaeocystidiosa, Mycena clavata, Omphalina arctica and Romagnesiella clavus. Two genera of ascomycetoid fungi (Ascomycota): Strossmayeria, Phaeomollisia and 8 species are reported as new to Finland: Arachnopeziza delicatula, Hyaloscypha diabolica, Hyalopeziza cf. tianschanica, Phaeomollisia piceae, Phialina pseudopuberula, Sphaeropezia hepaticarum, Strossmayeria basitricha and Trichopeziza subsulphurea.
