    About the psychological peculiarities of parents oriented on early development of children

    The early development of the child for the modern parent becomes the norm of life, the rejection of which can cost the adult condemnation and censure from the immediate environment. There is a natural growth of expectations, fears and anxiety about the correctness of the educational strategy, self-assessment as a parent. In this regard, the study of factors contributing to the desire of parents to facilitate the development of children becomes particularly relevant.     Retrospective analysis of social and cultural meanings of motherhood in Russia

    © 2015 by the authors. The world of today, and Russia in particular, encounters the transformation of maternity: its essence and status of a universal value are being lost. Therefore, the basic aim of the article is to go back to roots by discovering theoretical basis for sociocultural essence of maternity in different periods of Russian social history in order to understand the reasons of these changes, reveal the present status of maternity and its meaning in modern Russia. The research is based upon cultural-historic approach which is aimed to reveal sociocultural determinants of human existence. The author shows that motherhood as a social and cultural phenomenon contains the genesis of the Russian culture, its socio-historical, moral and family experience. As a measure of the Russian society civility and maturity at each stage of social development social and cultural meanings of motherhood, influencing the consciousness and behavior of its subjects, determine the depth of assimilation, acceptance or rejection of motherhood as an independent value. The materials presented in the article may be used in higher educational establishments for the realization of professionally-oriented curricula in Pedagogical Psychology and Sociocultural Studies; including in-service courses for specialists whose professional activity is closely connected with family, maternity and child maintenance

    The model of the professional and personal orientation of the teacher

In the conditions of change of educational reference points the professional activity and a personal maturity of the teacher, his internal intension directed on self-development and updating of personal potential in professions got a special value. In this regard the main objective of the article consists in implementation of the phenomenological analysis and the model of a professional and personal orientation of the teacher. The article characterizes the model describing the structure, typology, mechanisms of functioning of a professional and personal orientation of the teacher is offered. The Individually-typological features of professional and personal orientation of the teacher are identified. The effective types are defined which corresponding to the functional level of a professional and personal orientation (generative, self-actualization, subjective), and the types needing in the optimization (manipulative and dependent, compensatory, formal and productive, communicative, egocentric, administrative) which belong to pre-functional and dysfunctional levels of the professional and personal orientation.     The article describes the possibilities of a unified methodology of socio-psychological testing in the early detection of psychological and pedagogical factors contributing to the development of anti-vital moods and suicidal behavior among minors. The diagnostic potential of the technique was determined by empirical verification of data obtained in groups of respondents with various suicidal activity.В статье описаны возможности единой методики социальнопсихологического тестирования в раннем выявлении психолого-педагогических факторов, способствующих развитию антивитальных настроений и суицидального поведения среди несовершеннолетних.     Psychological and educational aspects of rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder in preschool education

    Background. The increased number of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is observed worldwide today. Ambiguity of the reasons that cause the disorder, lack of the possibility to render effective medical care make actual the need of non-HCP (according to medical research full treatment cannot be found). The solution of this problem is possible by using effective mechanisms of child training in the society. The Objective is to develop the complex model for ASD children rehabilitation in preschool education based on the analysis of various correction methods that are widely used in the USA Europe and Russia. There considered are possibilities and limitations, and their application in preschool education. Design. The authors consider their own model for ASD children rehabilitation based on the direct practical experience with a specific ASD child suffering. The conditions for adopting this model in preschool education are described: creating a special environment that allows to compensate for missing skills and facilitate the child adaptation, psychological and educational support of all subjects of inclusive education, and teamwork of experts of different profiles (teacher, psychologist, speech therapist, and speech pathologist). Results. Based on the analysis of foreign and domestic experience of rehabilitation, a comprehensive model for the rehabilitation of the ASD child in the conditions of an educational organization has been developed. The construction of the individual rehabilitation route of the ASD child considers specific features of mutism, child’s adaptation and behaviour, the accompanying disturbances complicating the development process, background and needs of the family, and also resources of the educational organization. The rehabilitation work emphasizes the development of the emotional sphere and communication skills. Conclusion. Rehabilitation work with the ASD child in the conditions of the educational organization will be effective if to carry out it by the group of experts in the following ways: correctional work with the ASD child, work with peers, work with teachers and parental support

    Personality profiles and the "russian soul": Literary and scholarly views evaluated

    Many domestic and foreign observers have claimed that Russians have a unique constellation of personality traits that mirrors their distinctive historical and cultural experience. To examine the hypothesized uniqueness of Russian personality, members of the Russian Character and Personality Survey collected data from 39 samples in 33 administrative areas of the Russian Federation. Respondents (N = 7,065) identified an ethnically Russian adult or college-aged man or woman whom they knew well and rated the target using the Russian observer-rating version of the Revised NEO Personality Inventory. The mean personality profile of Russians was very similar to the international average based on 50 different countries, debunking the myth of a unique Russian soul.The small variations from world norms did not converge with depictions of Russian national character in fiction and the scholarly literature. New items intended to capture distinctive, emic aspects of Russian personality provided no new information beyond the familiar Big Five dimensions. Religion, ethnicity, and beliefs about the uniqueness of the Russian character and the malleability of personality traits had little effect on personality ratings. Perceptions of the Russian soul do not seem to be based on the personality traits of Russians
