According to the latest qualitative European registers cement type of fixation of one or both components of the hip joint is used in 4,5-58 % of cases, and in Scandinavian countries the figure is close to 90%. Performing any kind of surgery on musculoskeletal system surgeon should be prepared for post-operative complications. This study presents analysis of errors and complications of 65 hip replacements using cement technology. The technical errors of hip replacement with cement technologies usage are: the uneven distribution of the cement mantle around the endoprosthesis components, incomplete filling of the femoral medullary canal and bed of acetabular bone with cement, incorrect position of the implant components in the bone bed. The nature and number of somatic complications after total cemented replacement, observed in the group of patients that we investigated were: a transient drop in blood pressure − 11 (78.6 %) cases, thrombophlebitis − 1 (7.1%) case, transient coronary arteries ischemia − 1 (7.1%) case, cerebrovascular complications − 1 (7.1%) case

Concept “Druzhba” (“Friendship”) in Dialect Speech of the Middle Ob Area

The work is based on records of dialect speech (the territory of Tomsk and Kemerovo regions). The reliability of the research is provided by the amount of speech samples (more than 600 contexts were analyzed). The novelty of the work is due to the appeal to the study of dialectal discourse as a phenomenon which includes literary and non-literary units and has specific extralinguistic parameters. The main research tool is the electronic corpus of dialect texts created by the authors of the article. In the course of the study, dialect units that were absent in published dictionaries were identified. It was found that friendship relations in dialectal discourse are most often associated with the following parameters: territorial community, participation in rituals, leisure, joint work, military service/participation in a war, home visits and refreshments. The specificity in comparison with representatives of urban culture consists in the prevalence of the parameter of territorial community over the others, the weak representation of the component "school friends", as well as in the fact that the component "mate" is not actualized. The influence of discursive parameters on the representation of the concept is revealed. Thus, a significant number of nominations for women's friendship is explained by the gender of the informants, and the weak representation of the conceptual component "conflict"– by the conditions of recording materials on the expedition. In the figurative layer of the concept "druzhba" ("friendship") in the dialect, semantic transfer from the sphere "Family" prevails, which also reflects the specifics of traditional culture. The value layer of the concept in the dialect includes ideal representations related to the past and opposed to the present. The described ideal of friendship presupposes mutual assistance, trust, openness, which corresponds to general Russian ideas

This work has been carried out within the framework of the EUROfusion Consortium and has received funding from the Euratom research and training programme 2014-2018 and 2019-2020 under grant agreement No 633053. In addition, the research leading to these results has received funding from the Estonian Research Council grant (PUT PRG619).The precise study of the thermal annealing of the F2-type dimer defects, being under discussion in the literature for a long time and responsible for the number of absorption bands below 4.5 eV, has been performed in corundum single crystals irradiated by fast neutrons with a fluence of 6.9 × 1018 n/cm2. The Gaussian components of the radiation-induced optical absorption with the maxima at 4.08, 3.45 and 2.75 eV have been considered as a measure of the F2, F2+and F22+centers, respectively. In contrast to the Fand F+ centers, the concentration of which continuously decreases at the sample heating up to 1100 K, the concentration of dimer defects with different charge states passes the increasing stages above 500 K starting from the F22+centers. The tentative mechanisms of such rise of the F22+centers as well as of the subsequent transformation/rise of dimer centers, F22+→F2+→F2at 650-800 K are considered. The possible sources of carriers needed for the recharging of dimer centers are also analysed on the basis of thermally stimulated luminescence measurements up to ~850 K.EUROfusion Consortium, Euratom research and training programme 2014-2018 and 2019-2020, grant agreement No 633053; Estonian Research Council grant (PUT PRG619); Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia as the Center of Excellence has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Programme H2020-WIDESPREAD-01-2016-2017-TeamingPhase2 under grant agreement No. 739508, project CAMART

The number of single centers continuously increases with fluence without any marks of saturation. At the highest fluence, a mean volume concentration of 3.1 × 1019 and 3.35 × 1019 cm−3 is reached for F and F+ centers, respectively. The F+ emission strongly dominates in the cathodoluminescence of irradiated MgO and its enhancement with fluence is detected. However, the creation efficiency of the F2 aggregate centers is very low and fluence dependence has a complicated shape. Radiation-induced changes of micro-mechanical properties of the same samples have been analysed; the depth profiles of hardening correlate with the ion energy loss. A joint contribution of ionization and impact mechanisms in the formation of structural defects under MgO irradiation with Xe ions is considered.H2020 Euratom 2019-2020,633053,2014-2018,GF AP05134257; Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan GF AP05134257; Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia as the Center of Excellence has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Programme H2020-WIDESPREAD-01-2016-2017-TeamingPhase2 under grant agreement No. 739508, project CAMART

Theoretical analysis of the kinetics of low-temperature defect recombination in alkali halide crystals

    No full text
We analyzed carefully the experimental kinetics of the low-temperature diffusion-controlled F, H center recombination in a series of irradiated alkali halides and extracted the migration energies and pre-exponential parameters for the hole H centers. The migration energy for the complementary electronic F centers in NaCl was obtained from the colloid formation kinetics observed above room temperature. The obtained parameters were compared with data available from the literature
